" So you are in shit " Anisha growled, moved before any of us could react, and pinned her on the ground. She growled at her so loud that the ground shook and the workers stared at her in shock.

" Let me go you bitch " The cleaner screamed out loud while she thrashed her legs.

" Why would I when you want to harm innocent people?’ Anisha’s eyes glowed and I could feel the power of her wolf subduing the cleaner’s wolf.

" I am awed at my mate " Zeeb nodded proudly.

"Focus " Lucian scolded him.

" She is amazing, " Tizheruk praised her.

" Her name is Maria" Everest stated " She joined the construction site three weeks ago. I felt pity for her as she said she needed work. But it seems that Lyal has been planning to attack her for a while now. "

" Anisha and I are going back to the office" Zeeb dragged Anisha from the site, leaving us all wondering what he was up to. Benjamin and Levy followed suit and we were left alone with Lucian.

" The attack was unexpected and I am sure preplanned " I spoke up as we walked to the Freki forest Lucian released the bodyguards and told them to take the cars home. We opted to enjoy the night air as it had gotten dark already.

" Yes. But I am baffled at something" Lucian voiced his thoughts.

" By what ?" I asked.

" By the fact that she made sure you left the site and then proceeded to add the poison in the spray paint, " Lucian stated.

" Lobo was behind this. He made sure that I would not get hurt in the process. " I cursed.

" Why the hell does he not understand that you are mine" Lucian huffed as he walked ahead.

" Are you throwing a tantrum?" I asked and slowed my steps.

"I am not. I can’t imagine what he will do next. ’’ Lucian threw his hands in the air.

" I know that he will not hurt me. But I am scared that the casualties will live along the way and the pack members will suffer because of me. " I confessed.

"Conri, what the fuck are you planning ?" Lucian turned around and faced me.

" I left the construction site because I smelled Lobo Aria. Hence I walked to the edge of the forest near the sea. I found that they had stopped over with a boat. He was with Isamu. Tizheruk was there with me and he informed me that Isamu had a submarine in Sikta. He had come to attack the barrier and that is how Haida ended up getting hurt. "

" A submarine?" Lucian yelled.

" And Alexander ended up exposing himself as a serpent shifter because Isamu attacked his mansion and killed the guards ", I informed Lucian.

" We need to take them out once and for all. The problem was that we could not have fought for Sitka because of the innocent people. But that is not stopping us from attacking them in Tochigo" Lucian asserted.

" My thoughts exactly. " Tizheruk spoke from behind us.

" Why do you keep following us ?" I snapped at Tizheruk.

" I am not. I am walking on my way home and the two of you happened to take the same path " He retorted.

" It’s good you are here. Can we please plan on how we are going to Japan? I am tired of this game of cat and mouse " Lucian snapped.

" I agree, " Haida yelled from the forest as she walked over. " I hope you are not planning to leave me behind. " She pointed at Tizheruk and we saw Chary standing by a distance.

" Does she have to go everywhere with you ?" Lucian asked.

" Yes," Haida nodded.

" We need to sneak into Japan before Lobo wields the Tabular crystal," Lucian growled." Even when he is in Japan,is still following Conri "

" You caught that on?" Tizheruk laughed.

" It is getting on my nerves, " Lucian muttered.

" Did you tell them about the submarine, I had never seen one and I swear if they take that thing to attack the barrier again, our next is not safe" Haida seethed.

" No one will be safe the next time they attack," I snapped.

" Isamu is a far more dangerous animal than Lobo, " Tizheruk stated. " We better have a solid plan. "

" Gather commander Abram and his team. " I informed Lucian.

" That is a good call " Lucian stated " We need the numbers so that we can have the assurance of winning.

" I don’t think that is a good idea. ’’ Haida spoke up. " Isamu must have spies all over Tochigi and he will be informed if there are a lot of movements. I suggest we remain as we are and go in stealthily."

" Miss Haida is right. " Chary spoke up from a distance.

" The yakuza are greedy people. They would sell you out in an instance if need be" Tizheruk added. "To get in and out of Tochigi we need someone who knows the area well. " Would there be a way to know how many shifter wolves there are in Tochigi? " I asked Tizheruk.

"Ofcourse. I will not allow any shifter wolf to attack us but I fear about the other shifters and hybrids. We shall be outnumbered. "

" Bering and I will deal with the other shifters. Lucian and you deal with the wolf shifters. " Haida stated. " Chary will be our backup support. "

" That is a good plan. So that we can have Benjamin and Hunter guarding the Golden shifter pack with Anisha, Zeeb, Everest, and Tala" I affirmed.

" The team in Canada is safe for now. But we can never be too careful, " Lucian responded.

" Let us stick to the plan and set off in a week. Haida and I need to go and clean up things in Sitka. " Tizheruk announced.

" Good good. Levy had suggested we send Keith to Canada. There he shall be under the watchful eye of Godmother and Eliana Due"

"That is a good plan. Seeing that Lyal is already doing Lobo’s dirty work we better hide Keith until the dust settles. " Lucian suggested.

" Come on. It’s already dark, dinner is ready " Haida pulled Tizheruk along as we walked back into the mansion.

Hours later we lay in bed with Lucian and he was restless as he fidgeted in the bed.

" Lil pup, speak your mind. "

" Adora needs to help us to subdue Tabular," Lucian muttered.

" Lobo might have succeeded right? By the time we get to Tochigi?" I spoke up.

" Yes. I want us to be prepared just in case " Lucian explained and sat up on the bed and stared down at me.

I put one hand behind my head and then raised the other to his cheek " You do know that you are going to be with me for a long time right? I can sense that you feel something bad will happen"

" I am not cut out to raise pups alone," Lucian huffed.

" Really " I smiled affectionately." Don’t worry the resort will be done by Christmas. It was to take three years but I had a good construction team. The interior will take six months. "

"After seeing how well you have done on it, I have this idea of moving into the resort and raising our kids there. We can leave the Freki mansion to Anisha and Zeeb" Lucian suggested.
