Chapter 604: Chapter 593: Counterattack Begins
The Mother Royal Changyi Tiger scattered the incoming light rays and stared blankly at the completely destroyed tiger head, emitting a piercing shriek.
She suddenly lifted her head and roared furiously toward the direction of the rays, spitting out a tiger-head-shaped shockwave from her mouth.
The shockwave pierced the ground and hit Xiuluman directly, who was completely unprepared, blasting him back dozens of meters; some of the black liquid on his body was evaporated by the powerful force.
"I want you dead... everyone must die!"
The Mother Royal Changyi Tiger leaped out of the children’s Paradise and began a frenzied attack on Xiuluman, rendering Wen Wen and another helpless—Xiuluman, who had overwhelmed them both, was now retreating in defeat before her.
The battle between the two True Order Monsters quickly reduced the surroundings to a pitiable state of ruin.
Wen Wen and Qiao Feiya watched the monsters fight, amazed by the spectacle. Qiao Feiya curiously asked, "Is that tiger also a tiger-like creature? It seems to know you too; why does everything seem to involve you?"
"That tiger isn’t a tiger-like creature, but a Royal Changyi Tiger, the source of the Tiger Plague, one of the reasons I’ve been on the run is to seek it out."
From the very beginning of his escape, Wen Wen planned to lead trouble away, and now he was just fulfilling a preset goal.
Xiuluman was not very intelligent and bad at communication, and he was sure to use the rays to clear a path upon his arrival, which was likely to attract the enmity of the Royal Changyi Tiger.
Moreover, since it and the Mother Royal Changyi Tiger were naturally enemies, it was highly likely that they would fight, allowing Wen Wen to escape during the confrontation.
However, in Wen Wen’s plan, the chances of the scheme’s success were only fifty-fifty; he had not anticipated that they would actually start fighting immediately.
After all, although Aker Aru was not smart, the Mother Royal Changyi Tiger might have sensed Wen Wen’s machinations, thus avoiding conflict with Aker Aru. If that had been the case, Wen Wen would have had to take Qiao Feiya and hide in the Sanctuary to facilitate their battle.
But even Wen Wen did not expect that Aker Aru would actually destroy the head of the Gongyu Yuhu, directly igniting a massive powder keg within the Mother Royal Changyi Tiger.
Wen Wen snapped his fingers with a crisp sound and said to Qiao Feiya, "Those two are going to chase us soon, and I can’t run anymore. Don’t you want to snatch back your sword? Leave the Golden Silk Monkey to you and the Deer Head Monster to me."
Qiao Feiya nodded, then looked at Wen Wen with concern, "You’ve been running all this way, and the consumption has been too great. Can you hold on?"
Escaping in front of True Order Monsters, even for Wen Wen, was not without cost; now, his body’s Superpower was nearly depleted.
Wen Wen smiled and said, "I might not be up to fighting others right now... but I should be able to handle that Deer Head Monster. I’ve fought it before and know its weaknesses."
Aker Aru and the Golden Silk Monkey Monster were slow to arrive, and when they did, they saw the fierce battle between Xiuluman and the Mother Royal Changyi Tiger, and were slow to understand what had happened.
"Gentlemen, we meet again, but this time it’s our counterattack!"
Seeing Wen Wen appear, Aker Aru did not hesitate, leaped high, and punched, sending Wen Wen flying and then chasing after him, leaving only Qiao Feiya and the Golden Silk Monkey Monster on the spot.
The Golden Silk Monkey Monster chuckled, "It seems I’m your opponent now. I’ve fought against you human swordsmen before; without your longswords, you are nothing, and your longsword is right here with me."
Qiao Feiya clenched her fists, took a deep breath, and said, "Even without a longsword, I can still kill you!"
The tail in front of the Golden Silk Monkey Monster swayed slightly, unsure of how to proceed, "What should I steal from you next? It’s a pity you humans are too ugly; you have no fur, otherwise stealing your clothes might be a good choice."
Qiao Feiya gritted her teeth, and there was a flash of golden light on her body. She rushed towards the Golden Silk Monkey like a golden meteor; her punches, infused with Sword Qi, surprisingly matched the Golden Silk Monkey Monster’s in combat.
Being much stronger than an average Upper Sequence and just a moment away from advancing into the True Order Realm, she managed not to fall at a disadvantage even barehanded.
Instead, the Golden Silk Monkey Monster, holding a longsword, found many of its moves hard to perform, and after a brief exchange, was pummeled into having a black and blue face by Qiao Feiya.
Realizing that continuing the fight would only make it Qiao Feiya’s punching bag, the Golden Silk Monkey Monster retreated some distance and shouted at Qiao Feiya,
"I’ve decided, I’m going to steal your clothes. You ugly humans all have a sense of shame, I don’t believe you can fight so freely without your clothes."
His shout was incredibly loud, even Wen Wen, who was fighting with Aker Aru, couldn’t help but glance over.
It was somewhat indecent, yet Wen Wen was somewhat curious to see...
Of course, thoughts aside, Wen Wen was prepared to assist immediately if anything went wrong.
The Golden Silk Monkey Monster aimed its Sky Thief Hand at Qiao Feiya, while Qiao Feiya clutched her clothes tightly, seemingly terrified of what would happen next.
A strange power manifested in the Sky Thief Hand, but before it could be fully unleashed, the Golden Silk Monkey Monster’s hand moved on its own, guided by the golden longsword, which released a burst of golden sword Qi, chopping off the unsuspecting tail!
"What... what’s going on."
The Golden Silk Monkey Monster howled in pain, as its tail was the source of its strength; thus, it was always vigilant of Qiao Feiya targeting its tail, but it never expected the fatal attack to come from itself.
Qiao Feiya’s longsword flew back to her automatically, where she grasped it in her hand, smirking at the Golden Silk Monkey Monster, "Don’t randomly steal other people’s weapons, the consequences can be severe."
"If you can control that longsword, why didn’t you act earlier?" the Golden Silk Monkey Monster said in pain, holding its severed tail.
Wiping the sword’s hilt with disgust using the corner of her clothes, Qiao Feiya said, "Because earlier, I wasn’t sure I could sever your tail. As long as your tail was there, you could take my sword anytime. Once you knew I could control the longsword remotely, it would have been difficult for me to reclaim it."
"Stupid woman, stinking woman, if I had known, I would have stolen your clothes from the start, even if it hurt my eyes!" the Golden Silk Monkey Monster angrily said.
Qiao Feiya almost laughed in anger, walking towards the Golden Silk Monkey Monster with her sword drawn, "Whether as a woman or as a swordsman, a creature like you is very dangerous. That’s why you can’t leave here today."
"You think just because you have the sword, you can kill me? I’m not the only one here. If I can delay a little while, someone will come to help me," the Golden Silk Monkey Monster said, wary of Qiao Feiya.
Taking a deep breath, Qiao Feiya said, "Having been dragged into running for so long, I’ve mostly recovered, and I should be able to use the second shot."
"Second shot, what second shot?" the Golden Silk Monkey Monster asked, puzzled.
Raising her longsword, Qiao Feiya coldly said, "Sword Qi Burst Stream!"
Countless streams of golden Sword Qi attacked the Golden Silk Monkey Monster simultaneously. It barely blocked the initial attacks, but the Sword Qi seemed endless.
"No... it’s impossible, how can you still have this much strength."
But no matter how much it resisted, the Golden Silk Monkey Monster couldn’t withstand the countless Sword Qi attacks and was directly cut into countless tiny pieces, falling to the ground.
After killing the Golden Silk Monkey Monster, Qiao Feiya knelt down on one knee, gasping for breath, her muscles trembling slightly.
This was the first time she had used the Sword Qi Burst Stream twice in one day. She was worried Wen Wen might not hold on, so she wanted to end the battle quickly to help Wen Wen.
However, when she looked towards Wen Wen, she felt relieved, as Wen Wen didn’t seem to need her help.
