Chapter 603: Chapter 592: Leading the Disaster Eastward

Wen Wen, clutching Qiao Feiya’s hand, led her in a series of teleports, fleeing for their lives. Carrying an extra person meant double the energy expenditure, and soon they were both gasping for breath.

Physical contact was necessary to bring her along, so Qiao Feiya requested they hold hands.

In Wen Wen’s opinion, any form of contact would be more comfortable than holding hands...

Unfortunately, they were in the midst of an escape, otherwise Wen Wen, who seemed experienced but was actually a pure-hearted young man, would surely have his imagination running wild.

The two had just completed a teleport when Xiuluman, having been duped by Wen Wen once again, would likely take another two minutes to catch up. Meanwhile, Wen Wen, overly exhausted, also needed a short break before he could perform the next teleport.

So, the pair started running in the designated direction. After a while, disaster struck; a deer-headed muscular monster threw a punch at them, which Qiao Feiya deflected with her sword.

Two new monsters appeared in front of them, one being the strange Golden Silk Monkey with its tail in the front, and the other was Aker Aru, whom Wen Wen had encountered before!

Aker Aru’s eyes were blood red, looking as if it would charge at Wen Wen and rip him to shreds at any moment.

But perhaps due to the severe damage it had suffered last time, or because it wasn’t in its own space, Aker Aru seemed fierce but only possessed the strength of the Disaster Upper Order.

If it were just it and the monkey pursuing Wen Wen, he wouldn’t have been afraid. Unfortunately, there was the problematic Xiuluman close behind, and Wen Wen couldn’t afford to waste too much time on them.

"It looks like these two guys are also after you. What on earth did you do?" Qiao Feiya asked, looking at Wen Wen with a headache.

Wen Wen replied innocently, "Maybe it’s because I have such a strong sense of justice and offended these guys during a mission."

Qiao Feiya rolled her eyes. Such a sense of justice, my ass.

Wen Wen whispered to Qiao Feiya, "By the way, be careful with that monkey. It’s very lewd."

For Qiao Feiya, straightforward Aker Aru posed no threat, but the monkey was new to Wen Wen, and who knew what it might be capable of.

"Lewd? In what way?" Qiao Feiya asked, puzzled.

Wen Wen scratched his head. Did this woman really not get it or was she pretending not to understand? A tail growing below the belly button would make anyone feel it’s lewd.

So Wen Wen gave Qiao Feiya a hint, and understanding what Wen Wen meant, her face turned red, looking at the monkey with eyes sharp as knives, almost as if it shouldn’t exist in this world.

Seeing the two whispering slanderously, the Golden Silk Monkey ground its teeth in anger, "If you two are going to talk quietly, then don’t let me hear it, okay? You’re the lewd ones, your whole family is lewd!"

The exasperated Golden Silk Monkey aimed its long tail at Qiao Feiya, the large hand at the end of its tail revealing a weird strength. Before Qiao Feiya could react, the longsword in her hand somehow ended up in the monkey’s possession.

"This is indeed a fine sword. Too bad it’s mine now," the Golden Silk Monkey said with a vicious smile. "My Sky Thief Hand can take anything off you, be it a sword... or something else!"

Wen Wen ruffled his hair. This guy was indeed lewd. Now, besides her longsword, what else did Qiao Feiya have left but her clothes?

Suddenly, Wen Wen’s expression changed. Delayed by these two creatures, Xiuluman was nearly upon them. Wen Wen grabbed Qiao Feiya’s hand.

"Wait, my sword..." Qiao Feiya struggled to say.

"We can’t worry about the sword now. If we die here, we’ll lose everything," Wen Wen said, ignoring her and initiating the teleport.

The arrival of the Golden Silk Monkey and Aker Aru undoubtedly worsened the already dire situation for the struggling duo.

With those two joining in, Wen Wen and his companion could only rest for a mere ten seconds at a time after each teleportation, and without her sword, Qiao Feiya’s strength was greatly diminished; facing Xiuluman directly, she might not last long.

However, after running away for a while, Wen Wen suddenly burst out laughing—he had finally found what he was looking for on the topographic map revealed by the Custodian Badge!

"What are you laughing at? I don’t even have my sword," Qiao Feiya said irritably.

Wen Wen laughed heartily and said, "In a moment, I’m going to take you to a place, and once we get there, things might get even worse. Or, we might not have to keep running, and instead, we could launch a counterattack!"

"Then let’s go, I’m sick of running." A fierce light flashed in Qiao Feiya’s eyes, she was determined to take her sword back.

In the map only he could see, spanning tens of meters around, there was a very blurry spot a few meters underground. It seemed like there was someone there or maybe nothing at all, leading Wen Wen to deduce that the Mother Yu Changhu must be hiding there.

The power of the Custodian Badge was immense, able to scan everything within tens of meters radius clearly; a blurry spot meant that that place had a strong capability to shield itself, and in Yueshan City, only the Mother Yu Changhu would need such concealment!

First, Wen Wen threw a throwing spear in another direction, then after waiting with Qiao Feiya for a short while, they saw Xiuluman charging towards them. Wen Wen smiled and hurled his long spear toward that uncertain location.

The Mother Yu Changhu, restless in the ball pit, suddenly saw the ceiling break open, and a long spear pierced the floor of the basement where she was.

This long spear sent the Mother Yu Changhu’s spirits plummeting down into the abyss. She had hidden so secretly, how had she still been discovered?

Then a flash of blue light passed over the spear, and standing beside it were a man and a woman holding hands, none other than Wen Wen and Qiao Feiya.

Wen Wen looked at the Mother Yu Changhu with a beaming smile and said, "Heh heh, I guessed right, you’re here."

"You... it’s you! I remember you!"

After the death of the Gongyu Yuhu, some fragmented memories transferred into the mind of the Mother Yu Changhu, among which was the presence of Wen Wen.

Even though it wasn’t Wen Wen who killed the Gongyu Yuhu, she still harbored a grudge against Wen Wen because of it.

Wen Wen said cheekily, "Many people remember me, but in a moment you might remember me even more clearly, as I’m here to bring you to the reunion you and your spouse desire."

After speaking, he stamped his foot, and a wooden box appeared at his feet. He then kicked the wooden box toward the Mother Yu Changhu.

The Mother Yu Changhu, trembling, opened the box to find a tiger’s head inside it—the teeth had been stripped bare.

"Where are its teeth?"

Wen Wen replied matter-of-factly, "Of course, I took them. After the completion of my Sword Embryo, I need some fine materials to forge a new sword blade..."

"You’re courting death! I will put you in this box too!"

The Mother Yu Changhu stood up, her body emanating an oppressive aura—even wounded, she was still stronger than Aker Aru.

"That’s if you can survive," Wen Wen retorted.

After drawing all the hatred, Wen Wen immediately snapped his fingers and left the place with Qiao Feiya.

And at the moment Wen Wen left, countless colorful rays pierced through the ground, attacking this underground children’s paradise. One of the rays hit the wooden box squarely, piercing through the skull of the Gongyu Yuhu...
