Chapter 605: Chapter 594: Dark Matter Enhancement
After being struck by Aker Aru, Wen Wen slowly stood up from the ruins.
"The consumption along the way has been significant; though this punch from Aker Aru can’t be compared to the previous ones, I still find it unbearable."
Then, with a laugh, Wen Wen said to Aker Aru, "I didn’t expect to meet you here so soon; fate really is wonderful."
"Last time you were lucky, destroying many years of my efforts. This time I will take everything back from you," Aker Aru said fiercely.
Aker Aru was simply a humble old farmer who grew flowers. Not only had Wen Wen destroyed his flowers and the land where he grew them, but he had also demolished Aker Aru’s storage for the flowers; Aker Aru had to seek revenge from Wen Wen for such a great grievance.
Picking his nose, Wen Wen said, "I was lucky... Why do I remember you being the one who ran away last time?"
"Whether it was last time or this time, your mouth is always so annoying. After I catch you, I will cut your mouth off, cook it, and feed it to you, then we’ll see how tough you can talk," Aker Aru said, snorting coldly.
As conversation was getting nowhere, Aker Aru didn’t bother wasting more words and directly attacked Wen Wen.
Different from that in the Mysterious Space, Aker Aru’s attacks outside were straightforward, exactly the type of opponent Wen Wen liked, so he also welcomed the challenge with a smile.
"Seven Sharks Fighting Technique—Shark Frenzy!"
Relying on the high-level close-combat tactics of his Shark Strongman Physique, Wen Wen barely managed a draw against Aker Aru.
Wen Wen had the superior skills, whereas Aker Aru had the stronger body, and for the moment, neither could overcome the other.
If Wen Wen had not been pursued by Xiuluman, dealing with Aker Aru would not have been too difficult for him, but conversely, if Aker Aru hadn’t been injured in that Mysterious Space, he wouldn’t have been weakened to the point where he could only manage a draw with Wen Wen.
Even though it was a draw, Wen Wen’s situation was not getting any better, as his physical strength was nearly depleted while Aker Aru seemed to have endless energy, and Wen Wen wouldn’t last more than two or three minutes in such high-intensity combat.
’Seven Sharks Fighting Technique—Spiral Shark Tail’
Wen Wen kicked Aker Aru away, patted his chest, and took a deep breath, "I’ve been chased for so long; it feels suffocating. To be able to fight with you so freely makes me feel much more relieved."
"Relieved? I hope you’ll feel even more relieved when I break your limbs later," Aker Aru said viciously.
Wen Wen raised his hand to stop Aker Aru, saying, "Hold on, last time you asked me about Iron King Jin Kela, and I’ve found out."
Aker Aru, still full of hatred, indeed stopped and asked, "Where is he now, is he still alive?"
Seeing the serious look on Aker Aru’s face, Wen Wen replied, "He’s living comfortably, always beaming with joy, and he even told me how he once threw you into a dung heap, hahaha."
After saying this, Wen Wen started laughing uproariously, holding his stomach and slapping his thigh; the scene was unbearably mischievous.
Aker Aru was so furious he was practically steaming from the nostrils: "You... you!! This time, no matter what you say, I won’t stop now; we can chat after I flay you and dismember your bones."
"Is that so... Actually, talking a bit more could be beneficial for you." Wen Wen got up, his face cold as ice: "If we don’t talk now, you’ll lose your chance to have such an equal conversation again because you’ve already lost."
"Lost?" Aker Aru frowned, looking at Wen Wen’s calm expression; a sudden unease rose in his heart.
"After you escaped from that mysterious space, you never went back, or if you did, you didn’t stay long," Wen Wen said with a cold smirk.
"How do you know that?" Aker Aru asked anxiously.
In its exclusive space, there were residues of catastrophic power everywhere. Staying there for too long would harm even itself, so it didn’t linger there much.
Wen Wen raised a finger, waving it as he explained to Aker Aru, "Don’t rush, let me explain it to you slowly."
"After the last battle ended, you disappeared. I didn’t know whether you were dead or had escaped, and being as cautious as I am, I definitely prepared for the worst."
"So when I was forced to leave that place, just in case, I left something behind..."
Aker Aru’s expression changed as he asked, "What did you leave behind?"
"What do you think?" Wen Wen smiled meaningfully, then directly returned to the Sanctuary and activated Calamity Prison Supervisor mode.
Upon leaving the mysterious space, Wen Wen had left behind a dozen puppet rats, allowing them to burrow into the crevices of the soil, shedding their shells but leaving behind a channel connected to Wen Wen.
Wen Wen had been worried that the rats would be discovered by Aker Aru, but until now, Aker Aru was unaware of their existence.
Using the strength of the Calamity Prison Supervisor, Wen Wen detonated one of the puppet rats. The already fragile mysterious space suffered another severe blow, making its condition even more pitiful.
After simply detonating one rat, Wen Wen immediately walked out of the Sanctuary. He wanted to check on Aker Aru’s condition first before deciding whether to detonate the others.
Once outside, Wen Wen saw Aker Aru kneeling on the ground, bleeding from every fur orifice, clearly severely injured.
Seeing that he was no longer a threat, Wen Wen decided not to detonate the other rats. He still wanted this guy to plant the Other Shore Flower for him; he couldn’t just kill him off.
"You’re despicable!" Aker Aru spat blood as he spoke.
Wen Wen shook his head and said, "Chasing an escaped convict isn’t despicable; it’s clever."
After that, Wen Wen shouted ’Ora Ora’ and used Shark Frenzy on Aker Aru. Once he finished, Aker Aru was lying on the ground, unable to get up.
Wen Wen glanced back and saw Qiao Feiya kneeling and resting with her eyes closed, looking very tired and unable to pay attention to Wen Wen’s actions. So, Wen Wen directly grabbed Aker Aru and walked into a nearby corridor.
"Please, don’t lock me up in there again. I’d rather die than go back in there..." Aker Aru, with his teeth knocked out, pleaded with Wen Wen.
Wen Wen heartlessly replied, "You’d better serve your sentence peacefully in there. Nowadays, the Sanctuary is much gentler than before. At least when I have you plant the Other Shore Flower, I won’t give you manure..."
After saying that, Wen Wen forcibly dragged the howling Aker Aru into the Sanctuary.
The moment the detention passage vanished, Wen Wen’s eyes widened. Then, a black force emerged from his body out of nowhere.
It replenished some strength to Wen Wen’s nearly depleted body; the Catastrophe Glove’s range had also expanded somewhat.
"This is... an enhancement of the Dark Matter’s capability, and it’s quite significant!"
