Chapter 451: Chapter 449 Battle of the Upper Sequence

He had just finished speaking when Salphore appeared behind him, delivering a punch to his left shoulder that left it charred.

The Ferocious Beast clenched his teeth, his right arm’s seal was undone, transforming into a dreadfully fierce beast claw.

The claw swiped to the left, creating a deep crater in the ground with its immense force. The power of this beast claw was even close to a Disaster Upper Order attack, but Salphore had already vanished from that spot.

No matter how strong an attack, it’s meaningless if it doesn’t hit.

With Salphore’s interference, they were even struggling to gather together!

Suddenly, a strange vibration was heard and all the surrounding mist dissipated.

Salphore, clutching his throat, retreated several meters, warily watching ahead. Silver-white blood was flowing from his palm. Someone in the mist had slashed his throat!

Though Salphore was the hunter in the mist, he was ambushed in his own domain!

A man in a black robe stood in front of the Rangers, blades peeking from the sleeves of both hands, and silver blood stained the blade in his right hand.

It was he who had wounded Salphore.

This figure was well-known to the Fearful Butterfly and others; he was Hidden Thorn, a Higher-order Hunter from their side.

During the intense battle earlier, Fearful Butterfly and the Ferocious Beast even forgot that their side also had a Higher-Order Assimilation, not expecting him to appear in such a manner.

"When did you get here, the mist is my domain, how did you manage to suddenly appear beside me?" Salphore asked incredulously.

Hidden Thorn remained silent. As a hidden assassin, revealing how he appeared would compromise his effectiveness.

He turned to the Rangers and said, "Leave this to us, you’ve held up long enough. Moreover, several monsters from the Inner World have appeared on the eastern side of the city, go there and control the situation."

The already heavily damaged Rangers retreated, and Hidden Thorn’s mention of ’us’ implied that more than just Hidden Thorn, another Higher-Order Ranger had come!

He had previously mentioned that other Higher-Order Rangers would come, likely they had already arrived.

After the Rangers left the scene, dozens of laser beams relentlessly shot from all directions. Salphore brought his hands together, and a giant spinning water orb materialized around his body, blocking all attacks.

He dispersed the water orb, and upon taking a closer look, his expression darkened even further.

Unnoticed, the surroundings had begun to be dotted with objects made up of eight metal cubes, each with a circular core in the middle. Whenever the eight metal blocks separated, an energy cannon shot out from the core.

And behind these floating cannons stood a slightly overweight Ranger, hands behind his back, on a metal plate made of numerous little metal cubes: Metal Frenzy, the second Higher-Order Ranger to arrive in support.

When Salphore focused on Metal Frenzy, he suddenly broke out in a cold sweat, realizing that Hidden Thorn, who had just been in front of him, had once again vanished without a trace!

"That guy has disappeared again, and these floating objects are troublesome enough..."

So, Salphore steeled his resolve, stomped on the ground, and a tremendous force caused the surrounding ground to slightly cave in, with numerous streams radiating away from him.

"Zeolite Martial Arts, Aquatic World!"

These high-temperature water steams formed a thin layer of water film, spreading out like a gigantic water orb.

This attack had no blind spots; if that hidden guy was nearby, he would definitely get hit!

The places swept over by the water currents distorted rapidly as if scorched by a great fire, and after the water had passed, they burned even more intensely.

Hidden Thorn’s figure was forced to reveal itself, and the floating metal objects were also compelled to distance themselves from around Salphore.

Salphore appeared in front of Hidden Thorn, and suddenly pushed his palm forward, sending a massive water sphere, like a river, that engulfed Hidden Thorn and a large building behind him!

"Zeolite Martial Arts, Scorching Sea!"

Hidden Thorn, somewhat disheveled, emerged from the water flow, white smoke faintly emitting from his body. He exchanged glances with Metal Frenzy, both wearing grave expressions.

This silver Fishman was very strong— even if they worked together, they couldn’t win in a short time!

Salphore and Shark Warrior, both Disaster Upper Order, were led by Salphore, simply because of Salphore’s sheer strength!

Thus, the battle among three superpower users of Disaster Upper Order strength unfolded.

...

After bringing Shark Warrior into the Sanctuary, Wen Wen hummed a light tune, feeling light as air.

The thought of Shark Warrior in a red robe stepping on someone defying Wen Wen and proudly declaring "I wait for my master, Black Cross." made Wen Wen feel utterly exhilarated.

After shamefully dancing a bit, he calmed his emotions and prepared to assist Fearful Butterfly and the others.

Just as he reached the outskirts of the battlefield, he received a new command from Hidden Thorn.

This command directed him to the east side of Hua Shan City, near a large underground parking lot, to suppress the newly emerged monsters there!

So Wen Wen left a teleportation mark there and immediately soared into the air, flying at high speed toward the underground parking lot on the city’s east side.

The area was chaotic at the moment, with more than twenty Demon Hunters of either Exploration or Mastery Realm, struggling to combat the monsters here with the aid of hundreds of Supporters.

The number of monsters was growing, and their struggle was becoming increasingly difficult.

Wen Wen hovered in mid-air, a Water Poker materializing in his hand, and then he flicked the cards out with a special technique.

The Water Poker instantly ended the lives of several monsters, but many more remained, fortunately, these monsters were not clear-headed, otherwise, the situation would have been a real mess.

As he fought, Wen Wen spotted Wu Wang himself, resting behind these monsters with a wicked smile, watching the battle unfold.

Wu Wang had a smile on his face, but internally, he was cursing nonstop.

Why were all the monsters he summoned so useless, resulting in the situation being controlled even without the Hunters Association’s Rangers needing to step in?

This was not going as he had planned!

Talking about randomness, this was indeed truly random!

Even if a Disaster Level monster had come, not all of the monsters would be trapped near the parking lot.

Moreover, with a Mid-Sequel strength Ranger arriving on the Demon Hunter side, it became even more difficult for these beings to break free from this location.

It seemed the second plan had to be scrapped. He could only hope that all those Fishmen from Oye Water City were unlucky and died here.

Come to think of it, that Mid-Sequel Ranger looked somewhat familiar...
