Chapter 55: Chapter 0055 Farewell [Part 2]

The movie continued to play, and with the scenes getting more intense, An Rongrong’s little head didn’t dare to look up.

Coming out of the movie theater, An Rongrong shook her numb little hand and pinched Chu Feng hard, punishing him for his earlier mistake.

Chu Feng quickly begged for mercy and took An Rongrong’s hand, saying, "It wasn’t me who chose the movie, it was you. I said not to watch it."

"Are you kidding me!" An Rongrong, hearing Chu Feng’s words, went on to give him a good beating on his waist.

In the following period, Chu Feng and An Rongrong were almost inseparable every day, and occasionally there were some ambiguous moments, but they never crossed the line.

An Rongrong wasn’t ready, and Chu Feng would not pressure her; he would always wait.

Unfortunately, good times are always short-lived. An Rongrong still had to leave, and because of her father’s strong demands, she left a month earlier than planned.

On the day An Rongrong left, Chu Feng, along with Old Master An and the Master, went to the airport.

It was also the first time Chu Feng had met An Rongrong’s father, a man who appeared dignified and handsome with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, the very picture of a successful businessman.

While Chu Feng observed An Rongrong’s father, An Rongrong’s father was also sizing up Chu Feng.

Eventually, it was An Rongrong’s father who broke the silence, asking, "So you’re Chu Feng?"

Chu Feng nodded and replied, "Yes, Uncle!"

An Rongrong’s father continued, "Are you dating my daughter?"

Chu Feng firmly nodded again and said, "Yes."

After surveying Chu Feng, An Rongrong’s father said, "I know you’re Uncle Zhang’s disciple. But if you think that having martial arts skill can make my daughter happy, you are gravely mistaken. You have no idea the kind of life she is meant to lead. She can’t possibly spend her future performing martial arts on the streets with you."

"Rubbish! What are you saying!" Old Master An could hardly contain his anger at his son’s words.

His son’s remarks were not only directed at Chu Feng but also reflected on Zhang Shisan. Although the An Family owed Zhang Shisan a debt of gratitude, without him, there would be no An Family today.

"Dad, I’m only stating the facts. Martial arts can’t be turned into food, only money can buy food," An Rongrong’s father said, standing his ground.

Before Old Master An could reply, Chu Feng spoke up, "You’re right, martial arts indeed can’t be turned into food. But martial arts can ensure that Rongrong and I are not threatened by anyone, whereas money can’t do that. And besides, martial arts can easily be turned into money. If I wanted to kill you now and demand a ransom of one hundred million, would you refuse to pay?"

An Rongrong’s father felt the intimidating presence coming from Chu Feng and was slightly shaken, but still, he said, "We live in a lawful and civilized society now. If you threatened me like that, it would be breaking the law, and naturally, there would be people to punish you."

Chu Feng slightly smiled and said, "Indeed, we live in a society governed by law, but if my capabilities allowed me to trample all over those rules, do you think the law could still restrict me?"

Without waiting for An Rongrong’s father to respond, Chu Feng continued, "You don’t need to argue with me. There will come a day when you see what I can achieve. Rules are always made for the weak. It’s the strong who make the rules."

Hearing such a domineering declaration from Chu Feng, Zhang Shisan’s eyes lit up, and as for Old Master An, he held an even higher opinion of Chu Feng now.

However, An Rongrong’s father’s face turned very unsightly.

Seeing her father’s expression, An Rongrong kept making eyes at Chu Feng, signaling for him not to say anymore.

Chu Feng, with a slight smile at An Rongrong, continued, "And I’d like to make one more point clear, making money to me is like grabbing something out of my pocket. If I wanted to, I could make enough money for Rongrong and me to live without any financial worries for the rest of our lives."

While An Rongrong’s father couldn’t challenge Chu Feng in martial arts, he held significant authority when it came to making money.

Looking disdainfully at Chu Feng, An Rongrong’s father said, "Young man, anyone can talk big. If within a year, you can make one hundred million or establish a company worth over five hundred million, I won’t oppose your relationship with An Rongrong."

Chu Feng nodded and responded, "No problem."

Making money was truly not a difficult task for Chu Feng, especially since he already owned a company. Cui Jingyan had set up the framework for the company, which would soon be operational.

An Rongrong’s father, watching a confident Chu Feng, added, "I’m talking about USA Dollars, not Huaxia Coins, and it has to be through your own ability, not using the resources of the An Family."

Chu Feng smiled slightly and said, "I thought it was in British pounds. Well, that makes the goal even easier to achieve."

"You..." An Rongrong’s father, hearing Chu Feng’s words, turned a shade of green with anger.

"Rongrong, wait for me in the USA. Although I can’t come to get you on a Seven-Colored Auspicious Cloud in a year, I’ll have our private jet painted to look like one," Chu Feng completely disregarded An Rongrong’s father and spoke directly to An Rongrong.

An Rongrong, her eyes reddening at Chu Feng’s words, nodded vigorously and said, "I’ll wait for you."
