Chapter 90: Chapter 90 - Starfall Showdown Tournament Part 8

Like Zion said, handling the dwarves was easy. Lars and Eliza followed the compass and arrived at the dwarven campsite within twenty minutes.

There, they saw the dwarves staring blankly at the fire in desperate need of something strong to drink.

They were on high alert once they spotted two humans, but once they were offered alcohol, their entire demeanor changed, accepting it gracefully.

They drank all six bottles within two hours, relishing in their amazing flavor, something they’d never tasted before.

They drank, they sang, they ate, and they had fun. By the time the alcohol was finished, they collapsed, only to wake up in two days time.

"Hahahaha!" Zircon laughed in the stands. "It seems like your people can’t say no to a drink, huh?"

"That bastard, using something as amazing as Alcohol against us dwarves." Bromir gritted his teeth, but also couldn’t deny the appeal of Alcohol.

Melina turned to Zaleena, "It seems like your son is well prepared for this tournament."

"What? Worried about your daughter?" Zaleena grinned

"No, just worried that your son will do something foolish. He didn’t have a countermeasure for our race after all."

"But he stood his ground against a dragon. That speaks to his strength." Drakoth admitted. "He’s becoming more and more interesting."

Back in the fracture, Luna and Kaitlin approached the beastmen slowly and carefully. They were used to sleeping in the wild, and this was their natural habitat. Any sudden moves would make their presence known.

"I’m planting the seeds," Luna whispered, planting the seeds in different directions, using her mana to make them float to their destination.

"Good, now activate them," Kaitling whispered back.

"Hmm? Guys, wake up! Something’s wrong!" Drivhurn alerted, but it was too late.

By the time everyone woke up, Luna activated the seeds, and the area was filled with a scent so bad the beastmen started throwing up.

"Oh god! What is that smell?!"

"It burns! Fuck! It burns!"

"Bleghhhhhhh!"

"My nose!!!! How am I going to catch salmon if I can’t smell them? Argh fuck it burns!"

"Ahhchooooo!"

"Now, Kaitlin, use the whistle!"

"Got it." Blowing into the whistle, a high-pitched noise pierced the beastmen’s ears like a sword stabbing them through the head.

"Arghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"My ears!!!!!!!"

"Make it stop!!!!"

"Bleghhhhhhhh!"

"Help! Please help me!"

The noise was so unbearable that they all tried to flee, but because of the high frequency, it messed up their equilibrium, causing them to lose their balance and tumble to the ground.

They tried covering their ears, but nothing worked. With their nose and ears all fuked up, they couldn’t do anything, and they were in too much pain and discomfort to use their mana. Eventually, they passed out from the noise and fell into a deep slumber.

"That went well." Kaitlin smiled

"Indeed. Let’s go now."

---

Zion approached the elven camp without even trying to hide his presence. He thought about taking them out one by one, but didn’t see the fun in that. So he decided to face them head-on.

He didn’t rush in, just took his time walking to their camp without a care in the world. If they spotted him, he wouldn’t care. If they did, well, he still wouldn’t care.

Slowly, he continued his pace, getting closer and closer until he felt something cold and metallic on his neck, forcing him to come to a halt.

"Who are you?" Syrune asked, holding her dagger to Zion’s throat.

"This doesn’t seem like a warm welcome." He joked

"If you don’t tell us who you are, I’ll blow a hole in your head!" Sitting on top of a tree was Gilborn, aiming his bow right at Zion’s head.

"Woah! You know you’ll get disqualified if you kill me, right? Are you sure that’s what you want to do?"

"Of course I know that, I was just giving you a little scare."

"Oh, well you suck at intimidation. Get a new profession."

Gilborn felt a vein bulge in his head. "The fuck you say asshole?!"

"You know that guy?" Zion asked, pointing at Gilborn

"I expected this would happen. I’m not surprised that it was the humans who struck first, either." A voice came from in front, getting closer to Zion’s location.

As the person of the voice came into view, Zion was greeted by three elves, two males and one female. He didn’t even take one look at Finhad and Lasslail, his eyes were only focused on how beautiful Valindra was.

"I know elves are the most beautiful race but DAMN you’re beautiful."

"I’ll accept your compliment, however, flattery won’t allow you to escape here unscathed. So tell me, what did you plan to accomplish here?" Valindra drew her rapier in case Zion was a threat and pointed it at his chest.

The others also pulled out their weapons in case a fight broke out. However, they weren’t worried since they outnumbered him and they were confident in their abilities.

"First things first, let me get this out of the way. My name is Zion Zagan, and I promise that I’m not racist or anything. So don’t think I’m here because I have an elf fetish or something. I’ve already fucked plenty of elves and their pussies feel the exact same as humans, dwarves, and beastmen."

Syrune and Valindra blushed with embarrassment.

"Wha-What the hell are you talking about!" Valindra shouted while Syrune pushed her blade closer to Zion’s neck.

"I just had to make sure you didn’t get the wrong impression of me. Now, as for the reason I’m here, well, do you know what’s the best way to win a battle when up against many others?" He asked with a smirk

Syrune answered immediately, "Getting rid of any competition."

"Bingo."

"Hahahaha! And what can you do all by yourself?" Gilborn asked, dropping down from the tree tops.

Zion smiled, "What if I’m not alone?"

"Please, we’ve sensed you since you first stepped foot in this forest. Why do you think we set up our camp here? Elves thrive in dense forests like these."

"Ahh, you’re right."

Shaking her head, Valindra stepped forward, walking until she was in Zion’s face. "I don’t know what you were thinking, but don’t assume you’ll leave here unscathed after trying to sabotage our chances of qualifying for the next round."

"You’re really beautiful, so it pains me that I’ll have to hurt you. Don’t worry, though, I’ll take you out for a date once this is over, promise." Zion winked

Back in the stadium, laughter arose from the crowd as they saw Zion flirting with the elf woman. The Queen felt slightly uncomfortable seeing her daughter being openly flirted with in public in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

"Be careful, Melina, if things progress the way they are, you might have a human as your son-in-law. Haahahahahaha!" Belwyn laughed.

"Say another word and I’ll slit your throat." Melina threatened.

Being the princess of the Elves, Valindra wasn’t used to people flirting with her so openly, and it threw her off guard. She didn’t know what to say or how to even respond. She just stood there, mouth agape and stunned.

"You bastard! How dare you talk to Princess Valindra that-UGGHHH!" Zion appeared right in front of Gilborn, chopping his throat with his hand, which cut off his speech mid-sentence.

He kicked his legs, tripping the dark elf who was clutching his throat, and chopped him on his neck, knocking the guy out cold.

"How the hell?!" Syrune couldn’t believe her eyes. One moment, she had Zion in her clutches with a dagger at his throat, then the next, he was knocking out Gilborn. She couldn’t even react to his speed.

"Shit! Attack him!" Valindra ordered

Finhad didn’t hesitate. He charged at Zion, each step gouging the ground beneath him. With a roar, he brought his mana-charged club down in a single, brutal swing, aiming to take Zion out in one blow.

"Oh, I didn’t know elves grew to your size." Zion caught the club with one hand without any effort. He twisted it, which twisted and broke Finhad’s arm in multiple places.

"Arghh!!" He bellowed in pain.

"Oh, grow up. It’s just a little pain." With a swift kick, Zion crushed Finhad’s knee, sending the elf sprawling to the ground. Without missing a beat, he followed up with a spinning kick to Finhad’s face, sending him crashing into several trees. The sound of snapping trunks echoed through the air, causing birds to scatter in a flurry of wings.

"I’ll make you pay!"

"Lasslail, wait!" Syrune yelled, but it was too late.

Lasslail unleashed arcing beams of light mana at Zion, each shot aimed with precision, hoping to bring him down. In a desperate move, he summoned vines that coiled tightly around Zion’s feet and legs, pinning him in place. With a grunt of effort, Lasslail brought his sword down in a powerful slash toward Zion’s chest, only for the blade to shatter on contact with skin.

Zion smirked, "Try again next time when you wake up." He punched Lasslail so hard that not only did he break his nose, but his fist left an imprint on his face, knocking him out instantly.

"And then there were two." Turning around, Zion looked at the two female elves, seeing them gulp with slight fear in their throats.

"I bet you have those knots in your throats. You know, the one where it makes it hard to swallow."

"Are you mocking us?" Valindra asked.

"Nah, just stating the facts." He took a step forward

"Don’t get any closer!" Syrune yelled, stepping in front of Valindra while holding her daggers.

"Relax, I don’t plan to hurt such pretty faces. I plan to attack you in a different way."

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" Valindra asked

Vanishing from his spot and appearing in front of Validra, Zion held her chin, pulling it up so she could face him.

"I mean this." He leaned in and planted a passionate kiss on the lips of the Princess of the Elven Kingdom in front of everyone watching.

The Queen was already upset that Zion attacked her people, but after seeing him kiss her daughter, she lost it.

"Unhand me! O’m going to kill him! How dare he kiss my daughter in front of me! In front of these people! Does he even know what that means?! I’ll never accept him as my son-in-law!" She screamed while being held back by Zaleena and Raven.

Lidia, Aurora, and Lacey were all laughing as they witnessed Zion kiss the elf princess.

The other watchers were stunned by Zion’s boldness, including Syrune.

"Y-You! You! How dare you! Get your filthy human lips off of her!" She yelled, aiming to cut off his head.

"Woah, that’s dangerous. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you." Zion said, laughing as he dodged Syrune’s attacks, pulling her in close and planting a passionate kiss on her lips as well.

The Elf Queen was visibly foaming at the mouth with anger as she was now being held back by everyone there.

"Mmm, tasty," Zion said, licking his lips. "Just stay in here for a couple of days, okay?" He put a barrier over the Elves, trapping them inside, leaving to do the same with the dwarves and beastmen.

Valinda and Syrune didn’t even try and go after him. They were too stunned by his bold actions, and their brains were slow to process everything that happened.
