Chapter 251
Chapter 251: Chapter 251
"Do you know when Zion will arrive?" Lidia and the others were all sitting in a base they had in the Dwarven Kingdom. Currently, they are waiting on a message from Zion; however, he hasn’t contacted them ever since leaving with Luminera
[I don’t know. I got disconnected from Zion after he underwent some transformation. All of my nonobots and neural link were destroyed. I’m completely blind on that end.]
"Should we just start the invasion?" Lacey asked. "We all know that the young master wouldn’t care if we did. The borders are secured, everyone is in position, and all we need to do now is force the leaders to submit."
"Hell yeah! Let’s go! I can’t take all this waiting. I’m ready for some action!" Ginger stood up and grabbed her sword, but Lidia pulled her back down onto the couch they were sitting on.
Lidia popped Ginger in the back of the head. "Don’t be rash you potato brained bitch. If things can be done peacefully, then that’s how we’ll do it."
"Ouch, that’s not nice."
"What isn’t nice is my foot up your ass!"
"Girls! Calm down. Didn’t the young master already have a plan in place? What did he call it? Operation Liquor?" Lacey asked
[Operation Alcohol.] Lidia corrected her.
"Yeah, that. Let’s just start negotiations with all the alcohol we brought and see how things go from there."
"And if they go bad?" Lidia asked
"Then we crush their skulls!"
Lacey pointed at Ginger. "What she said."

In the royal palace of the Dwarves, King Bromir was frantically searching for a reason why a dome that was previously over the beastman kingdom suddenly appeared over theirs.
He gathered everyone of importance to the royal hall for a conversation on how they could remove the dome. Royal Advisors, Noblemen, powerful warriors, and the divine apostle all gathered in one place.
"My king! Our weapons cannot penetrate that dome. It’s too strong. Even our drills get completely destroyed when they come in contact with the dome!" A nobleman shouted
"My king! That dome is dangerous! When we attacked it, our energy was absorbed into it and was shot back at us! Some of our warriors are severely injured!"
"Your Majesty, an unidentified military force has been patrolling the streets and attacking anyone who doesn’t comply with their orders. We’ve sent our soldiers to stop them, but they completely neutralized them! They’re too strong!"
Bromir’s mind was flooding with confusion, anger, fear, and uncertainty. He didn’t know who or what had some sort of grudge against him or his people to suddenly trap them in a cage and force their will upon them.
Still, as the king, he was determined to find the answer to that. He wouldn’t rest until he got his kingdom back under control and liberated his people. After that, he would indulge in tons of mead and sex.
The only good thing out of this was that the unidentified military force wasn’t killing anyone. Those who complied with their rules were treated greatly, better than great in fact. Bromir heard from one of his advisors that the slums had completely transformed in the short time since the military force appeared.
It went from a cesspool of filth and crime to a clean, controlled, and safe place to be in. The people there were clothed, bathed, fed, and healed. He couldn’t believe it.
"Sir Ergir, what is your opinion on this?" Bromir asked.
Ergir was the only person in the royal hall who had authority similar to the king. He was just as important, if not more important, than Bromir himself. So, Bromir knew that seeking his counsel was a wise thing to do.
"The dome, it’s a foreign energy. One that doesn’t belong to our land or world. It’s holy power." He confirmed, using his own holy power as a cross-reference.
"What?!"
"Why is holy power trapping us?"
"Did we anger Lord Ivaldi?"
"What is going on?!"
"Silence!" Bromir yelled. He didn’t want his people to start getting worried about something that could be far beyond their control. He needed everyone here to be calm and collective so they could come up with a good solution to their predicament.
"Please continue, Sir Ergir."
Ergir cleared his throat. "This isn’t the power of our Lord Ivaldi. It doesn’t match the holy power I possess. This is a foreign power. If I had to guess, we’re probably under attack by another divine apostle."
Those words didn’t put everyone at ease. It was great that their god didn’t abandon them, but to be attacked by another deity was still scary to think about.
"D-Do you know who it could be? The Elves? Or maybe the Dragons?" Bromir asked, slightly worried
Ergir shook his head. "The Elves completely submitted to the humans, accepting the doctrine of light as their new religion after their own goddess and divine apostle failed them. This is probably the work of the Holy Empire of Light. I heard they were expanding their reach. This...this is probably what happened to Cernunnos."
"What?! The holy empire?! They just formed, and now they want to take the world for themselves?! How greedy can they be?!" The nobles shouted in anger.
"Can you break the dome?" Bromir asked
"Possibly. It will be difficult, though. Whoever made it is a genius. It pains me to say this, but that crafrmanshit is far superior to anything we’ve ever crafted."
Everyone there grumbled under their breath. They, too, knew that the craftsmanship of the dome was so good that it was as if the gods themselves had crafted it. But admitting that wasn’t something they would want to do.
Then, a knock was heard on the doors leading into the Royal Hall.
"Enter," Bromir yelled
"M-My King, there are some individuals who would like to meet you. They say that they’re emissaries of the holy empire." A servant spoke with a polite tone.
"Hmm. The holy empire is already here, huh?" Bromir thought of his next option.
"My king, it’s a trap!"
"That’s right, your majesty!"
"Don’t allow them in!"
"How dare those Holy Empire bastards invade our land and then ask for a meeting!"
Bromir agreed. "Tell them I’m busy and cannot speak to them right now."
"Y-Yes, your Majesty. O-Oh, they also said they brought Alcohol."
Everyone paused.
"Well, why didn’t you say so?! Bring them in!" Bromir’s attitude did a complete 180
