Chapter 127: Killing Snow Blood Golems (II)

Immediately after freezing the small golem, the old Viking charged all his Magic and totemic energy before unleashing torrents of frost energy into the thin layer of coagulated blood snow under his feet. "Frozen Earth!"

Frozen Earth was a simple Mortal Tier Spell meant to freeze the environment, hindering enemies’ movement. However, the old viking charged so much energy and vitality into the spell that the torrent of freezing energy immediately began to freeze the layer of coagulated blood snow, the crystallization soon expanding to the surroundings.

"AHHHHHH!" The Snow Blood Golems roared with rage as they saw the coagulated blood snow beneath them, freezing. It was one thing if the layer was thin, but another entirely different if it were all frozen, as at that point, they would be like fish out of water.

The golems immediately marched forward, full of killing intent. Their focus on the old viking unleashed the torrent of frost energy. Each step they took forward made the ground tremble, proving just how immense the might of their charge was.

Freya’s eyes were sharp as she felt the moment and power of the Snow Blood Golem, but there was no hesitation as she dashed forward, accompanied by Vlad a few meters behind, ready to clash with the Snow Blood Golems. They were two against nine, so a direct clash would not be good, yet the duo flashed ahead regardless, their eyes full of focus and energy ready to explode.

Just before both sides collided, a flock of Lightning Eagles dived down onto the Snow Blood Golems, the animated spells too fast for the hulking monsters.

"¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!" "¡BOOM!"

Explosions ranged around the Snow Blood Golems, the blasts focusing on the creatures’ legs, destabilizing many of them and, in some cases, blowing their extremities!

Before the blasts and explosions could fully dissipate, Freya flashed forward and attacked one of the Snow Blood Golems that had lost one of its legs and was kneeling on the ground. She swung her hammer with such force that she lifted the hulking five-meter-tall monster from the ground and sent it flying away for more than ten meters!

Freya lifted her shield the next second, just in time to block a massive fist aimed at her head. She resisted being sent flying by the blow, but the ground beneath her feet broke, and she could not free herself.

Killing intent radiated from the massive Snow Blood Golem as it intended to pin down the young woman until the other golems could arrive and attack her, shattering her bones under their fists.

Unfortunately for the Snow Blood Golem, less than a second after its fist clashed with Freya’s shield, a young man flashed forward, his sword ablaze in demonic fire.

"Force Slash!" Vlad activated the runes in his hands, allowing him to add demonic fire to his sword, which he used to perform a Force Skill, slashing toward the fist of the Snow Blood Golem.

Although the young man’s energy reserves were low, they were still high enough to unleash a Mortal Tier Force Skill, and the power he managed to create by combining it with the demonic fire and strength of his body was terrifying.

"Ahhh!" A scream of pain emerged from the golem as its arm was severed, only for the young man to kick it into the air the next second, where a burst of frost energy froze it and blasted it into the distance.

The Snow Blood Golem turned toward Vlad with pure and absolute fury as it intended to crush the young man with its left palm. However, Freya flashed forward, striking the golem’s chest and sending it flying away.

Vlad did not hesitate before using the opening created by the young woman to jump back while sending an arc of fire that exploded into the chest of the nearest Snow Blood Golem. The attack was far from powerful enough to truly harm the golem, but it hindered its advance long enough for Freya to pull back and adopt a battle stance with her shield up.

The duo’s teamwork was amazing. Freya and Vlad acted in unison, protecting each other’s blind spots and trusting the other would not fail them. Of course, that did little to deter the Snow Blood Golems, who used the coagulated blood snow to fix their mangled legs before marching forward.

Freya focused as she saw the group of Snow Blood Golems marching forward again. It was still too soon for Jormungandr to cast a new batch of Lightning Eagles, so they would need to handle this charge on their own.

"Earthshatter Slam!" The young woman shouted as she channeled her Force into the mace, making the weapon glow with a fierce, radiant light just before she struck the ground with all her strength!

"RUMBLE!"

When the mace struck the ground, a shockwave of energy radiated outward from the point of impact, causing the earth to crack and heave as if a mini-earthquake had struck the area, fissures spreading out in all directions.

The ground beneath the Snow Blood Golems trembled with such force that it violently upheaved, creating cracks, fissures, and uneven terrain that made movement difficult for those hulking creatures.

"Aegis Charge!" Freya did not wait before making her Force explode again and charged forward, directing the infused energy into a powerful forward burst, striking the closest Snow Blood Golem with her shield.

Once again, the young woman, who was not even one meter and eight centimeters tall, clashed directly with the hulking golem and sent it flying away like a puppet!

Vlad moved alongside Freya, his target a Snow Blood Golem that had yet to fully heal from the previous explosion, his flaming sword bursting with sharp Force as he hacked with power into its injured left leg. "Force Slash!"

The flaming sword hacked with immense power, cutting the Snow Blood Golem’s leg, which Vlad immediately kicked away, only for a torrent of frost energy to strike it the next second!
