Chapter 366: 0366 Annoying_1

It was a relief that the porridge Melissa Chan cooked was edible, after all, it’s just about getting the porridge to thicken up—who couldn’t do that?

After breakfast, Melissa Chan and Lucy Wood conscientiously cleaned up the dishes, leaving Ellen Young with some free time.

Michael clearly saw that Ellen had eaten, but still came over to ask her, "Have you eaten?"

Ellen Young: "..."

She felt that the first thing she needed to do was to kick this bad habit of Michael’s of asking unnecessary questions.

At the very least, she wanted him to have the basic ability to recognize that if someone had already eaten, there was no need to ask again—it was tedious.

Blackie barked beside them, and Ellen crouched down to pat him on the head.

He nuzzled in her arms and, after she let him go, he squeezed out through the fence gate and scampered off to the village to play.

Ellen’s gaze uncontrollably followed him outside, and that’s when she spotted Ruffy Smith standing in the distance.

He stood halfway up the hillside, smoking a cigarette, looking as picturesque as an artwork, just within Ellen’s view.

Seeing him inevitably brought to mind the dream just before getting out of bed that morning.

Upon seeing him, the figure from her dream seemed even clearer, along with his alluring posture as he leaned in closer.

She felt a bit of a headache starting and only glanced at him for two seconds before Ruffy felt her gaze and turned around, catching sight of Ellen.

Knowing she was filming a program, he didn’t disturb her but merely smiled at her from afar and even extinguished his cigarette.

The camera crew, struck by Ellen’s smile, couldn’t shift their cameras towards Ruffy; thankfully, the main camera was focused on the sisters in the kitchen.

Ellen saw Blackie run out and head straight for Ruffy.

He didn’t recklessly jump on him but barked at Ruffy a few times. Ruffy looked at Ellen and naturally shifted his gaze downward. Without any particular reaction from him, Blackie didn’t dare to pounce but rubbed against his feet instead.

Ellen Young: "..."

When did this dog switch loyalties?

At this moment, Michael walked up to Ellen and proceeded with the unanswered question from earlier.

"Have you eaten yet?"

Ellen sighed: "Yes, I have."

Michael: "What did you eat?"

Ellen Young: "..."

You could completely see the helplessness in Michael’s demeanor.

This scene left the audience in stitches.

[Let me count, this must be like the umpteenth time the robot has asked this morning.]

[Indeed, its intelligence isn’t high. It could be much better with some tweaks, updating its database and all that.]

[But its observational skills are pretty good, the obstacle avoidance capability is exceptionally strong, if self-driving cars had this kind of obstacle-avoidance abilities, they might be a lot more reliable.]

[Exactly, Michael’s obstacle avoidance is great, it has never bumped into anything nor stepped on any plants in the courtyard, its capability to create obstacle-avoidance patterns is super strong, not to mention this isn’t any high-level tech, Wanton broke through this years ago.]

[If only my dumb vacuum cleaner robot had this kind of obstacle-avoidance ability, it wouldn’t just hit the wall before realizing it has to turn. If Michael had a broom, it would be the perfect vacuum cleaner robot.]

[Commenters are going overboard with the cleaning, my Michael is one of Scholar Young’s early artworks, it should hold a different status and not just be used for sweeping—it can also take care of dogs!]

The barrage of comments were filled with playful banter, and Ellen saw Blackie happily rubbing against Ruffy in the distance while Ruffy’s eyes remained fixed on Ellen.

His eyes shone brightly, and even from afar, it was as if she could see stars twinkling in them.

Ellen hesitated for a moment and then turned to go back inside the house.

She was surprisingly a bit irritated.
