Chapter 246: Friendly Warning

Klark, the King of The Great Wall City and the Beast Kingdom, is now looking at Tina, a court female who is the mate of one of his counselors. Klark sees Tyr with the utmost respect, as his king, and Astri as his Queen, and also a Goddess. At the same time, he saw Tina growling at Astri, and he jumped up to get her away from Astri.

"What am I doing? My King, who is she for getting into a royal room and feast?" Tina asks.

"Don’t you recognize who this is?" Klark asks, pointing at Tyr.

Tina looks at Tyr and shrugs her shoulders.

"A handsome male, but unfortunately with a small and weird female who thinks she can come here uninvited." Tina snorts.

"You are new here, but not so new that you couldn’t have seen the royal entrance and the painting we have there. And that is disappointing." Klark coldly answers, making Tina gulp. "This is King Tyr. King Tyr will always be seen as King even if I am the King."

Tina lost her voice and went pale.

"This male here is the former Higher Priest who once lived in our city." Klark says, pointing at Claud. "And this female is no one less than Queen Astri. And we honor her, the Higher Priest and King Tyr, because she is the Goddess of Nature. King Tyr and the Higher Priest had the honor of being chosen as her spouses and protectors of the world. Lady Astri, King Tyr, and their family are the most honorable guests for me, and they are more than welcome in any room of this castle. Was I clear enough?" Klark says with his energy pressing not only Tina, but everyone there, that might even be thinking of disrespecting his guests.

Tina nods in silence and looks down. Tyr smiles, proud of Klark, and the others are happy to see a King putting a female in her place not to bother Astri. Since Astri had to show her identity at United Tribes, the whole kingdom knows who she is, even though not everyone knows what she looks like.

Now that her identity is not a secret, putting females away is so much easier that makes Astri’s spouses think that they should have said something about her identity long ago.

"I apologize for my behavior.." Tina softly says.

"Please, Lady Astri. Be comfortable." Klark says, opening the way to Astri and showing the seats.

"Thank you, King Klark." Astri says, bowing her head to him and walking to a seat.

Astri doesn’t find Elder Abel at the dinner, but she can see that his female is there. She receives the whole story in her mind as if it were an upload from Nature. After he learned that Astri had gone missing, he got the courage to go back to doing the wrong things again and got in touch with the Monsters again. Klark discovered it with Claud’s help and then banished him from the Kingdom.

Elder Abel is now a Monster and works helping the new Monster King of the Kingdom.

"Is everything all right?" Tyr asks her.

"Yes. Just learning what happened to Elder Abel." Astri answers.

"I banished him.. He died in the wild, I believe. His spouse doesn’t carry his mark anymore. He was old." Klark says to Astri.

"Well, yes. He’s dead since he’s not a beastman anymore. He became a Monster and works for the new Monster King of the Kingdom." Astri says.

"Oh.. I didn’t know that."

The counselors were also impressed with the news.

"Be careful. He’s gathering more Monsters using his authority as your former counselor, convincing the people who don’t like you. It is a slow process, but be careful." Astri says, still watching Nature’s images in her mind.

Her eyes look like the universe is moving, and it is amazing for everyone to watch that. It’s been a long time since her family has watched that happen.

"Elder Abel?" Astri says in Abel’s mind, who was impressed when he heard her voice in his mind in his cave.

"Astri.." He says, still in shock.

"Yes, it is me, old friend. Or not so friend anymore." She says.

He chuckles.

"What? You used to be friends with a Monster."

"He used to be a Monster. I made him a beastman again. Do you want the same? I can help if you want."

"No. I’m not that coward."

"Who are you talking to?" Wayde asks Astri.

"Abel. She found him." Kangki answers.

Everyone is watching her, curious, so she decides to talk in a loud voice.

"You, actually, are a coward. If you didn’t fear being killed by me, you would accept being purified by me and become a beastman again. You just don’t have the courage to risk that." Astri says.

"You are right. I don’t want to risk losing everything I have and, now, you can’t take me anymore. You can’t take me here, and you know that. You can’t stop me from doing what I am doing." Abel says to Astri.

"You are right. I can’t stop you, and I can’t stop people from believing your lies and accepting being corrupted by you. But know that you are playing a very dangerous game. And as I saw, you decided on the side you want to be. Step one single step out of the line, threat a single hair of King Klark somehow, even through a third beast or Monster, and I will personally take you. Goodbye, Monster Abel. I hope we never meet again."

Then she breaks contact with him and blinks as her eyes come back to normal.

"So? What do we have for dinner?" She asks with a smile.

"Wait. Should I do something? Should I send a party after this group of rebels?" Klark asks.

"You should do what you are doing, King Klark. Remember that when you do the right thing makes people who do wrong things angry. And believe me when I tell you that they will stumble on their own feet. You are doing a great job. Keep yourself safe as usual." Astri answers, patting his shoulder, and he smiles in response.

Zin brings her plate and juice. Astri took from him and noticed him staring at her. She looks at him confused, and he points at his head.

"It is my turn tonight." She reads his mind, and she chokes on her juice.

She coughs, and everyone is looking at her worried and with confused faces. Zin, on the other hand, is beaming with her reaction.

"Are you all right?" Claud asks her.

"Yes. I wasn’t just expecting... something." She answers and eats, pretending she’s not there.

Her spouses looked at Zin and, by his behavior, they knew he teased her. What Zin did is not forbidden by their rules, but they got envious for not being the ones who made her react that way.

After dinner, after Astri gave good night kisses to her children, she was walking through the halls when Zin appeared, slithering fast and carrying her princess style. She giggles at how fast he was.

He puts her gently on the bed, kissing her deeply and opening her clothes. Even though he’s eager to have her, his hands are always gentle, even though they are also fast. He loves to feel his skin on hers, taste her skin slowly, and make her beg for more.

When he links his body to hers, his eyes fill with tears again. The first time they made love after she came back, he felt so much happiness that he cried. She waited for him to calm down patiently, hugging him until he was ready to continue.

This time he could hold his tears, because he feels stronger and that his life is getting back on track. He feels safer again, and Astri makes him feel stronger to make her feel safe, too.

He makes love to her in so many positions that she thought she was making love with his beast form, but she can’t deny she loved every second of that. He just stops when he sees she can’t get any more releases.

After cleaning her, they lay together, hugging each other. The part he loves the most in his life, spending time with her alone. Not that he doesn’t love the children and the others, but quality time with her is the best medicine for his heart.

"Did Nature tell you to go anywhere?" He asks something that has been worrying him since she came back.

"No. Don’t worry. I don’t think we will be needed anywhere so soon." She answers, lightheaded after so much lovemaking.

"I really would love to live in peace and relax every day. I can’t wait for that."

"You can do that since now. I know our home carries hard memories. But we can only forget them, letting new ones take place."

He smiles and kisses her head.

"You are right. Now we can make new memories together... I missed you so much. I miss you every day, even if you are in front of me."

She giggles and kisses his chin.

"Me too, sweet snake. If I could, I would shift to become a giant so I could tie you all to me."

They laugh together.

"You are the sweetest.. When you learned that you didn’t have powers anymore, and that you were away for so long.. Have you ever thought of giving up?" He asks.

"No. I couldn’t give up because I knew deep in my mind that you would never give up. I thought that it would be nice to try to live as a normal female, without powers and expectations, but just to remember everything we did together, and that we found each other because of who I am, the thought faded away easily too. I would rather carry the world on my back if that means having you with me forever."

He is thrilled to hear that, and kisses her lips, holding her face.

"I said to you once that I would love you even after death. I will love you forever, and I will be with you to share this weight forever."

"I trust you with my heart. All of you. I can only do anything because of you."

He hugs her, with a silent promise of never losing her again, and lets themselves sleep soundly.
