It should be very easy if it had help from a Legendary creature. Over the course of a couple of days, the Divine Deer raised the reborn Six-Paths Flower to level 50, so the Death Dragon’s kin should be able to do the same for Dark Crow.

From what the Divine Deer said, it was able to help the Six-Paths Flower because their elements were compatible. Dark Crow had the Undead and Spirit attributes, which should align with the Death Dragon.

"Okay, I will pass this information to one of the Death Dragon’s kin,” Lu Ran promised.

"Actually, did you say that one of the Death Dragon’s kin was suppressing the Evil God Seal deep underwater?"

If he remembered correctly, the Tree Monarch had told him about this particular kin of the Death Dragon before, and even described its location to him. He just didn’t know that it was busy suppressing the Evil God Seal.

Lu Ran was actually somewhat familiar with the Evil God. The Witch Council that cursed Principal Shi Zhen was considered followers of the Evil God. It was also the source of Dark Crow’s eye skill.

The Divine Deer answered right when Lu Ran was about to ask some more questions.

"Yes, it’s the Evil God that you’re thinking about. Your familiar’s skill is based on a creature from its faction. In fact, they can be classified as a species of their own, with creatures that range from Transcendent to Overlords. All of them are devout believers of the Evil God.

“As for the Evil God itself, it is a powerful creature that’s already reached the rank of Superior Divine and is on the verge of reaching Primary Divine. The Eye of the Evil God is a skill developed by a tribe of creatures with strong eyes that augmented their skills using the powers of the Evil God.

"At one point, the Evil God race caused a disaster on the continent, and the kin of the Supreme Dragons had to intervene. One of the Death Dragon’s kin, known as Ghost Mother, the God of the Abyss, used the Death Dragon’s powers to seal the Evil God. Since then, its subjects have been hiding in the Evil God Sea and are afraid to approach the continent.

"However, when the Death Dragon disappeared later on and the Stellar Moon continent suffered a devastating blow, the power of the seal was greatly weakened. On the bright side, there haven't been any Legendary creatures or followers of the Evil God that have tried breaking the seal. Otherwise, the continent would have descended into chaos by now.

"No one knows how long this peace can last, so Ghost Mother decided to guard the seal to prevent the Evil God from breaking out."

"This sounds like a can of worms," Lu Ran muttered while rubbing his temples.

"The power of the Evil God is very strange. When you go looking for Ghost Mother, stay alert and don’t get bewitched by subjects of the Evil God. Although it should not be too bad. With the Six-Paths Flower at your side, ordinary followers of the Evil God shouldn’t be a threat," the Divine Deer reassured him.

"Ghost Mother won’t try to kill us on sight for having an Evil God related skill, right?"

"No, as long as you have the piece of my horn, you shouldn’t encounter any issues. But instead of Ghost Mother, I suggest that you look for the Underworld God. Since it has also recruited a messenger, it’s obviously more concerned with what is happening in the outside world. Ghost Mother is probably like the Divine Turtle. It all came down to its abilities. Its glib tongue even affected its species talent. They couldn’t let it go to waste.

Lu Ran decided not to double-dip and give the information on the Stone of the Other Shore to both the Ghost Mother and the Underworld God. If the two of them got into a fight over it, then Lu Ran would be in a tough spot.

"By the way, do the kin of the Supreme Dragons get along with each other?" Lu Ran asked out of curiosity.

"I know what you are thinking, and you’re wrong. Whenever the population grows exponentially and exceeds the sustainable limit, the Death Dragon’s kin will hand out one-way tickets to destinations such as the abyss, the underworld, or the other shore.

"They will even go as far as inciting war between tribes and Legendary creatures to cause more death. While I understand that they are doing so for the sake of maintaining balance, some of us still find it... distasteful.

"When it comes to how the Death Dragon kin interact amongst each other, their individual personalities would often cause friction. This is particularly an issue between the Underworld God and the God of the Other Shore. It’s just like how humans don’t get along with each other all the time.

"With that being said, we are on a united front in some aspects. As long as you carry my token, even though the other kin won’t trust you completely, they will still trust you to some degree.”

"I see..."

A little trust was all he needed.

Lu Ran looked around and didn’t see the Six-Paths Flower. When the Divine Deer saw him looking for it, it hummed, causing green ripples to appear in the air from which the Six-Paths Flower emerged.

The Six-Paths Flower was being nourished within a special space when it was abruptly summoned. Looking around, it realized that Lu Ran was done forming his beastmaster space. As his familiar, it could tell that Ran's physique, mental strength, and soul power had all improved. These should all be benefits brought on by the beastmaster space.

Stage 2 evolution realms were only offered to the strongest familiar, which made them far more competitive. This might put it on the same level as the Divine Deer’s blessing.

"I'll have to count on Divine Deer Lord then!" Lu Ran bowed politely.

"Well, Six Paths, do you want to fuse with the two traits right now?"

"Not right now. Fusing traits also improves potential, correct? I am very talented, so if I accidentally ascend to the Legendary rank ahead of time, it would create problems for Senior Divine Deer. Let’s wait until we get to Blue Planet or Limitless City.”

A white glow lingered on its body while mysterious changes took place inside the Six-Paths Flower’s body. Just as Lu Ran assumed, it didn’t rank up so easily. A trait relating to luck didn’t have a major impact on one’s power. Its effects were more abstract. Hopefully, this would make the Six-Paths Flower evolution go more smoothly. They didn’t just sell Legendary ranks at the corner store.

"I got a new species talent."

Although its species wasn’t particularly compatible with the trait, it was one of the three most talented plant familiars in history. It obviously didn’t suffer much from misfortune. Like a protagonist from a novel, it had the luck to reach 99 and be reborn through Limitless City. This made the trait still somewhat of a good fit.
