The Six-Paths Flower’s new species talent was quite astonishing. The talent was the perfect support for the Lucky Clover trait. The trait not only boosted the user’s luck but also the luck of those around them. With the Lucky Flower talent, the Six-Paths Flower could even improve the luck of someone far away by giving them a flower.

Lu Ran grinned at the possibilities. It was a great talent. With enough time, he could prepare and gift flowers to all of his closest associates. Well, given how overpowered an attribute like Luck was, it would probably take a lot of energy to condense each Lucky Flower.

Will my luck go down if I give too many away? What if the Lucky Clover trait turns into the Unlucky Clover trait?

"I’m not feeling any changes in my body. I hope that good luck just falls out of the sky," the Six-Paths Flower said, interrupting Lu Ran’s crazy ideas.

"Not so fast. We’re not done here yet. Lord Divine Deer has done so much for us, so we have to return the favor."

The Six-Paths Flower nodded in agreement. Having benefited so much from the Divine Deer, it was natural for them to do something for it as repayment. The missions it assigned weren't even that hard. In fact, getting close to Legendary creatures was an opportunity rather than a chore.

Even a Legendary beastmaster might not be able to come into contact with a Legendary creature in their lifetime. He was much luckier by comparison. The Divine Deer was asking him to find the Divine Turtle to explore Limitless City with. If he managed to win it over, as the one most experienced with Limitless City, he would be able to point it in whatever direction he wished. He could even recommend some beastmasters that he thought highly of, such as the old president, Fang Lan, or Dr. Gu, to be its messenger.

It didn’t matter who the Divine Turtle chose, as long as it was someone he knew. On the off chance it chose a stranger, it would still at least have a positive opinion of Lu Ran. Of course, if the Divine Turtle didn’t mind, he would be more than happy to work two jobs at the same time. That would be a great opportunity!

"The two of you should be on your way."

The Divine Deer was indeed a bit tired after helping Lu Ran and the Six-Paths Flower. Its powers were far from its peak due to the current state of the Stellar Moon Continent. It even needed to store up some extra energy before venturing to Blue Planet.

It didn’t need to worry too much about Lu Ran, who had more than enough help. Although the Six-Paths Flower was only level 50, it had a terrifying amount of combat experience with a high species ranking to boot. Its overall power was well above average. The cat was also formidable. On the Stellar Moon Continent, besides some of the more ancient creatures, Lu Ran wouldn’t have to worry about anyone or anything.

"Okay, let me go get Senior Bai Lu and Manager Ying," Lu Ran responded.

Once he was out of the valley, Lu Ran detected Bai Lu and Manager Ying’s aura within a treehouse. When he got there, he found Manager Ying sunbathing belly up.

"Hm? You’re finally back." Manager Ying flipped over once it saw Lu Ran approach.

"Did you successfully open a beastmaster space?” Bai Lu asked eagerly.

"Yes."

"Lu Ran, you really have to thank Bai Lu for this," Manager Ying commented.

"Huh? Why?"

"The Divine Deer used Bai Lu’s beastmaster space as a reference when it was trying to figure out how to create a beastmaster space for you."

Bai Lu harrumphed at Manager Ying’s explanation.

"So that's how it is. Thank you, Senior Bai Lu."

He was really thankful that Bai Lu was there to serve as a reference for the Divine Deer. Otherwise, what if the Divine Deer accidentally made a mistake and turned him into a deer? Thinking of this, Lu Ran took a look to make sure that the beastmaster space didn’t have any gender specific aspects.

"What do you plan to do next? Will you be staying on the Stellar Moon Continent?” Bai Lu inquired.

"Lord Divine Deer assigned me some missions. I might have to go north and venture deep into the Endless Sea to find the Ghost Mother.”

"Oh." Bai Lu didn't expect that Lu Ran would be tasked with such an important mission this quickly. She was somewhat envious since her main objective was still to explore Limitless City and gather clues about historical events. Clearly, she had yet to move on from her first mission.

However, as a faithful follower of the Divine Deer, she didn’t express any displeasure. She had absolute trust in the Divine Deer having some greater plan in mind. After some careful analysis, Bai Lu realized that she didn’t have a familiar that could travel underwater. She wasn’t the best candidate for finding the Ghost Mother.

"Please do your best in fulfilling the Divine Deer’s mission. Do not let down its trust in you. Please feel free to let me know if you need any help,” Bai Lu offered warmly.

"Then, can Senior Bai Lu help me get a Mechanical familiar?"

"You're really direct! Where am I supposed to find one for you? Does this even have anything to do with the missions the Divine Deer tasked you with?"

Lu Ran showed an innocent expression as he was just caught red-handed. He was actually trying to complete the old president’s mission for him, which was to obtain a Mechanical familiar for Xia and help strengthen the nation. This mission was equally important, so if Bai Lu could help, it would save him a lot of time.

"Senior Bai Lu, as you know, Blue Planet does not have any Mechanical creatures. At most, there are some creatures that have been mechanically enhanced. My childhood dream has always been to become a mecha pilot! Now that I’m on the Stellar Moon Continent, I can’t just let my dreams be dreams anymore! I’m new here and unfamiliar with the land. I’m afraid that I will stir up problems if I go look for one myself. What if it ruins one of the Divine Deer’s missions?"

Bai Lu began fuming. "High-ranking Mechanical familiars are monopolized by the larger powers and the government. They are far out of reach for the average person. If you try to find one yourself, you’ll definitely stir up trouble, but..."

"But I don't have a way to obtain a Mechanical familiar for you because I am a beastmaster and plantmaster. I don't have anything to do with the Mechanical attribute, so I lack the relevant contacts. However, don’t worry. I’ll help you look into it. Death Gun is rumored to be a messenger of the Underworld God. He is both a necromancer and a mechanic. I'll try reaching out to see if he can help you.

“The main issue is that we’re not that close, and I’ve heard that he has some personality issues. However, I think this is the easiest way."

Manager Ying was listening in on the conversation when it suddenly interrupted.

"I have a way to get a Mechanical familiar."

Bai Lu turned to look at it in astonishment.

"Not long ago, a legacy ruin related to the Mechanical creatures was discovered on First Continent. It supposedly dates back to the Mechanical era. Based on the intel, it drops AI chips that were created during that era. These chips are essentially Mechanical familiar eggs that have been frozen in time.

"If you can clear the legacy ruin, then you will have a chance of getting a Mechanical familiar that won’t be worse than any that are currently in the Federation."

Bai Lu kept staring, so Manager Ying added, "Don't forget that I'm an intelligence broker!"

"I really did forget." Bai Lu finally recalled Manager Ying’s self-introduction as the operator of the largest intelligence network in Xia. She didn’t expect the foreign cat to have information that she didn’t.

"You’re right about the legacy ruin, but the government will definitely be all over it."

"If there’s no way to go in legally, is there a way to force our way in?" Lu Ran asked.

“Hell no. The strongest beastmaster in the Stellar Moon Federation is of the Legendary rank. However, you can sneak in. With me at your side, you don’t need to worry about getting caught," Manager Ying responded.

"You’re right!" Lu Ran exclaimed. He also had the Six-Paths Flower. Sister Flower said that while it didn’t have the Space attribute, it had practiced enough with it that it was practically integrated with its Grass attribute. With the help of two Space experts, sneaking in would be ridiculously easy.

"Hey, you two!" Bai Lu was infuriated. "What do you two think you’re planning? What if you get caught? Think about your identity! It can affect the possibility of peace between the two worlds. It goes against your primary objective as a messenger of the Divine Deer."

Manager Ying and Lu Ran both let out a dry cough.

"Don’t screw around. I don't care if the people in the Federation find out or not, but I will personally hunt the two of you down if you stir up a disaster. I will use my contacts to create a fake identity that’ll allow you access to the legacy ruin. Don’t do anything on your own."

"Alright, fine." Lu Ran begrudgingly promised.

He decided to have faith in Bai Lu. She was able to become a messenger of the Divine Deer without the upper echelons of the Federation finding out. Bai Lu wasn’t even 20 years old but was already on the path of becoming a level 6 beastmaster. Her reputation should give her very high-level access to things far out of Lu Ran’s capabilities on the continent.

The Mechanical Era was by far the most technologically advanced of the four known ones.

"She’s right. By the way, the legacy ruin actually has an entry requirement. You need a Mechanical familiar to enter,” Manager Ying explained, seeing Bai Lu take the bait.

"Then what should I do?” Lu Ran asked.

"A mechanically enhanced familiar will also work," Manager Ying answered.

"I don't have one of those either."

"But you can get one. If you go buy a lightsaber and give it to your dog, then the Weapon Control trait should let it become a mecha dog."
