Anomaly: Birth of the Strangest Demon Lord
Chapter 31: Demon Heir Alan

Chapter 31: Demon Heir Alan

"Hoooo! What happened?"

Alan jerked up from the bed and shouted in shock.

At this moment, the door of his room opened and a girl walked in. She wore a maid’s dress and had purple hair.

"Young Lord, you’re awake. Wait! Don’t get uptight. Your body still hasn’t adapted to the blood of the Demon God."

She anxiously pushed him down, against his Will.

Even if he wanted to, Alan found himself unable to move and was laid on the bed.

It took Alan a minute to reorganize himself.

’I am reborn? Huh! Why do I have an urge to do...’

Suddenly, he looked into the air and said.

"Can you believe it? I was reborn after that accident. What kind of accident was that? Well, I don’t remember."

"Young Lord, are you alright?"

Suddenly, he was brought to his senses by the maid’s voice. When he looked at her, he was simply mesmerized by her beauty.

She wore a one-piece black dress that reached up to her knees and wore tight white stockings inside.

She also wore a white apron outside her skirt. She had a beautiful face with a pointed chin and pale skin. Her eyes were also purple.

When looking at her, a dose of memory came to his mind.

He opened his mouth and said.

"Mia, what happened?"

Hearing her young lord’s voice, Mia seemed quite relieved as she spoke.

"Young Lord collapsed because of the bloodline awakening. Three days ago, you turned eighteen."

"According to the rules of the Family, you went to the Ancestral Holy Land to inherit the Blood of the Demon God."

Mia’s eyes turned a bit red.

Because while the blood of the Demon God was something good, most people wouldn’t survive. It was used to ensure that weak successors were killed for the right reason.

The Blood of the Demon God was so violent that it would rupture a person’s blood veins and kill them on the spot if they didn’t have a certain level of affinity to it.

For her Young Lord, it was a certain death because not only did he not have a good connection with the Demon Clan, but he was also the weakest of all the Demon Heirs.

His mother was a regular human who had a secret relationship with the current leader of the Fire Demon Clan.

Alan wasn’t weak because he wasted his life. He was weak because he couldn’t train.

Despite all of his training, his body couldn’t handle the pressure of Genetic Lock Opening.

Thus, he almost died three times attempting to open the Genetic Lock.

"So, I survived." Alan muttered.

His member gave him similar information. Since his mother wasn’t a part of the Demon Race, she was never with him growing up.

His father had three wives and six children. His first wife only had one son, the second wife had one son and one daughter, and the third wife had a similar situation.

He was born before two brothers and a sister, but because of his inherent weakness, he was considered the youngest.

Even if he didn’t want to, he couldn’t change it.

’It doesn’t matter. This is a normal setting for a protagonist, right? I should just focus on survival. Considering that I absorbed so much blood of Demon God and didn’t die, I should have opened my Gene Lock, right?’

Alan thought to himself and closed his eyes.

But instead of finding his Sixth Sense, he was brought inside a white room.

"Where am I?"

The white room had a large round table and several chairs around it.

He found himself a bit blurry, not a real body but instead like a phantom.

’Am I a soul or a ghost?’

Alan asked himself while walking towards the roundtable.

Suddenly, the white room shook a bit as another phantom appeared. Unlike him, this phantom didn’t look human.

It was a dragon. A western dragon with large red wings and a massive body.

"Huh? When did I come here?"

The dragon spoke in confusion.

But its eyes soon saw Alan and instantly locked on him.

"A new guy."

The dragon smiled, although it looked quite terrifying. He stood up and walked towards Alan, who was giving his all to stand straight.

"Don’t panic, Alan!"

Alan suddenly panicked and asked.

"How do you know my name?"

"Because you are here, doofus." Another voice came. It came from a young body whose phantom was similar to Alan’s.

He wore a large purple robe that covered his head. He was sitting on a chair and holding a large stick in his hand.

Alan was stunned by this reply. He pointed at the dragon and said.

"You mean, he is me. I am not a dragon. At best, I am a Fire Demon."

"Oh! You are born in the Fire Demon Race." Another surprised voice came. This time, this phantom looked similar to Alan as well, but he wore a half-sleeved red t-shirt and jeans.

"Not a race but a clan. Demon Race consists of several clans."

Alan subconsciously replied and quickly turned towards him. He saw another person similar to him sitting on the chair.

"So, let me get this straight. This dragon is me. I look similar to you two. So, who am I?"

Dragon chuckled and answered.

"Let me answer that, newcomer! We are all Alan. When we died in our previous world, our souls must have been scattered across different universes and born in different places."

"For example, I was born into the Dragon Race. I have heard of other races, but I couldn’t find them. There is no identity similar to them in my world."

"This guy wearing a purple robe was born in a magical world where people absorb mana and refine it into elemental energy. They are the mages."

"This guy, wearing a red t-shirt, was born in a Martial World where martial arts and martial artists reign."

Dragon pointed at two of them and introduced them as well.

Then, he looked at Alan and asked.

"What about you?"

"Ah! You want me to introduce myself? My name is Alan, and I was born in a world where people unlock Genetic locks. After unlocking them, they can carve a Gene Pattern in their DNA."

"This not only mutates them but also also them to unlocks more genes in the future. It’s kinda embarrassing, but I was born with a weak body that couldn’t unlock his first Gene."

Alan introduced himself. Before they could say anything, he quickly continued.

"But I recently inherited the blood of the Demon God. Although I am not sure if I have unlocked the Genetic Lock, I can give it another try."

Hearing his words, three of them had their eyes lit up.

"You also received the power of the Demon God? What kind of power?"

Mage Alan asked excitedly.

Alan rubbed his head and said.

"I am not sure. I didn’t even get to check that. Besides, it’s not power but a bloodline."

Hearing him, Dragon Alan nodded his head and explained.

"I know a thing or two about bloodlines. I was born in the Dragon Race with Azure Dragon Bloodline, but when I received the power of the Demon God, my bloodline became Chaos Dragon Bloodline."

"It is an ancient bloodline that only one person in the history of the Dragon Clan has awakened. And that person was the first Dragon God."

"Since you come from the Fire Demon Clan, your bloodline should’ve improved as well."

"Is that so?"

Mage Alan explained.

"I got Nine Elemental Affinity. I can easily learn and use all nine elements in my world."

"Because of this, I could have become a prodigy of my world, but I hid my affinity towards nine elements and only revealed five."

"Even with this alone, I have become one of the most talented mages in the world."

Then, all three of them turned toward Martial Alan.

He helplessly sighed and explained.

"I inherited a technique from the Demon God. It is called ’Supreme Chaos Art’. It has two parts. The first part is called ’Nine Elemental Chaos Art’, and the second part is called ’Space-Time Chaos Art’."

"When one reaches the peak of this technique, he could essentially obtain the ability to control nine elements, space, and time alongside having the destructive capability to destroy anything."

Hearing that, Alan looked anxious and envious.

"Wow! I am not sure what kind of blessing I will receive. By the way, didn’t you three know about this before?"

Dragon Alan laughed. His laughter almost burst Alan’s eardrums if he had one.

"Hahahaha! We were just working together to help you get adjusted to this new situation. After all, it is hard to trust someone you just met, even if they look the same, right?"

Alan nodded. Although he listened well, he didn’t trust their identity completely before.

Only after listening to the blessing they got from Demon God Blood, he accept their identity.

But he still had a question in his heart.

"So, there are only four of us here?"

Suddenly, the room got silent before Martial Alan stood up and walked up to Alan.

At first, Alan was surprised and a bit afraid, but Martial Alan patted his shoulder and said.

"There were five of us before you."

"Two Alans died!"
