Chapter 480: The Business Connection
After five minutes, Gastone returned with a cup containing his c^m. He sat beside Lucia and slightly opened her mouth, letting her drink his milk.
"If I didn’t see you in the street, bad things could have happened to you," Gastone whispered while shaking his head in disappointment.
Gastone was riding his car when he passed by Lucia and decided to follow her. He panicked upon seeing how sickly she looked and her unnatural walk.
"At least you are safe now," Gastone sighed in relief as Lucia seemed to be resting more peacefully after drinking his milk, and she wasn’t too pale anymore. He adjusted his coat around her, ensuring she was comfortable.
Gastone glanced around the flower shop, noting the surroundings. The sweet scent of flowers filled the air, a fragrance that usually delighted customers but made his sensitive nose slightly itchy due to his heightened senses.
Despite the discomfort, Gastone didn’t let it distract him from ensuring Lucia’s well-being.
"Maybe I should go by now," Gastone muttered, standing up. He wanted to stay longer but didn’t want to make things more awkward between him and Lucia after she woke up.
The minutes ticked by, and Gastone found himself lost in thought, his gaze shifting between Lucia’s still form and the surroundings of the flower shop, distracting him.
"Ugh, stop this," Gastone whispered to himself. He pinched his nose to bring his focus back rather than stare at Lucia’s face the whole day.
"I should make her something to eat after she wakes up," Gastone muttered, remembering that Lucia might have strolled around to buy dinner.
Gastone went to the doors to search for her kitchen. He found it next to the toilet. He opened the fridge and saw nothing inside other than water.
"I should buy ingredients," Gastone muttered as he scanned the empty fridge.
Quickly, Gastone grabbed his keys and headed out of the shop. He went to the nearest grocery store, purchasing various ingredients for a simple meal.
While there, Gastone also picked up some essentials Lucia might need while recovering.
"I know she’ll be well after drinking my c^m, but she became thinner than usual," Gastone said while looking at an apple in hand.
Lucia’s body didn’t escape Gastone’s gaze, not because of lust, but how much weight she had lost and became too thin.
As he hurriedly returned to the flower shop, Gastone unloaded the groceries onto the kitchen counter. He began preparing a light and nourishing meal, keeping in mind that Lucia might not have had the chance to eat properly.
"A simple chicken and egg soup will do," Gastone stated while preparing the ingredients. He made sure not to create a loud noise to prevent Lucia from waking.
In the midst of cooking, Gastone couldn’t help but smile. He remembered when he planned to open a restaurant as his business to start earning money.
Gastone chose to build a restaurant with several dishes that fit Lucia’s taste, such as being too sweet or salty, hoping she would visit; she did but for a different reason.
After a short while, the aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air as Gastone finished preparing a simple but hearty meal. He set the table neatly, placing the dishes in serving bowls and arranging everything thoughtfully.
Once everything was ready, Gastone glanced at Lucia, who was still sleeping. He decided to leave the meal covered and keep it warm. He also added a small note, expressing his concern and well-wishes for her recovery before returning to the area where Lucia lay.
Gastone took the damped cloth from Lucia’s forehead and checked her temperature. He smiled upon seeing it die down.
"Take care of yourself. I’ll look out for you from afar," Gastone whispered sadly. He caressed Lucia’s hair and made sure to plaster her face into his brain.
"I still can’t smell you, Lucia," Gastone frowned. He wondered if Lucia was still keeping the black ore that was given to her from Draco.
Gastone took one last look at Lucia with a heavy heart. He wrote his phone number on another note and placed it beside the flower vase. He hoped Lucia would find it when she woke up, a gesture indicating he was just a call away if she needed anything.
Feeling a mixture of concern and sadness, Gastone stepped out of the flower shop. He made sure to lock the door from the inside and scouted the surroundings to see if something was suspicious.
After Gastone confirmed everything was alright, he walked away but couldn’t shake off the uneasiness in his heart.
"Out of all men, why is she with Daniel?" Gastone gritted in annoyance. He had known Daniel through a business meeting and has been in contact with him since.
During their conversations about business, Gastone became curious about Daniel’s background and decided to investigate.
That was when Gastone found things that he couldn’t swallow, but he stayed in contact since it had something to do with the mysterious wolf the hunters found, and he needed answers.
"I should keep an eye out for Lucia," Gastone promised himself to watch over Lucia, even if it had to be from a distance.
However, Gastone was also cautious to avoid jumping to conclusions or judging Daniel too hastily. Despite his reservations, Gastone remained open-minded, recognizing that there might be more to the situation than met the eye.
As Gastone entered his car and drove away, a male figure appeared from the darkness.
"Another man? She’s really a sl^t," Joseph stated, spitting on the ground in distaste. He glanced over at the flower shop and tried to open the door, but it was locked.
Joseph thought the door was open after a guest left, but to his disappointment, it wasn’t. He gritted his teeth before spitting another one in front before leaving.
"What a gold digger, wh0re," Joseph hissed under his breath while thinking of a new plan to get closer to Lucia without any men interfering.
