Alpha's Bite Between My Legs
Chapter 481: The Guns And Knife

Chapter 481: The Guns And Knife

Lucia woke up with a terrible headache. "Ugh..." she sat up while rubbing her eyes.

Feeling disoriented, Lucia slowly glanced around the room, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep.

"I’m back in the shop," Lucia muttered, touching her head as she tried to remember what had happened to her. Yet, the pounding ache in her head refused to subside, persisting like a relentless drumbeat.

Lucia gingerly swung her legs over the edge of the sofa, wincing as the throbbing intensified with each movement. Her hand instinctively reached for the glass of water on the nightstand, hoping hydration might alleviate the discomfort.

With a shaky grip, Lucia brought the cool glass to her lips, taking small sips as she tried to piece together what had happened to her.

"Gastone..." Lucia muttered upon visualizing Gastone’s face. Then the memories followed and the things she had done to him.

Lucia’s face reddened in embarrassment. "Kyah! I can’t believe it! I begged him for his c^m!" she shouted, cupping her face and shaking around aggressively.

Lucia calmed her beating heart and took a couple of deep breaths. She glanced toward the counter where a bowl was placed. She walked toward it and saw the note from Gastone.

"I already given you what you desire, Lucia. I hope you will regain your strength and wish you well. I cooked a soft meal for you, eat this. I know you will like it," Lucia read the letter out loud. She was touched by Gastone’s gesture, but his last sentence didn’t sit well with her.

"Pfft, how does he know that if I will like his cooking," Lucia rolled her eyes and immediately removed the lid. She remembered Gastone cooking most of the time back when they were living together.

Lucia couldn’t help but giggle. "Ah~ I’m supposed to be the chef, but Gastone ended up doing the job," she muttered, relieving the memories.

A faint smile tugged at the corners of Lucia’s lips while looking at the egg and chicken soup. She took a spoon and scooped up a small portion.

Lucia smelled the aromatic scent and slurped it in. She expected it to taste the same as before, but to her surprise, it was too sweet.

"Ack!" Lucia coughed, and it even aggravated her headache. "Why does it taste like this!?"

Lucia wanted to spit it out, but the thought of Gastone making an effort to cook drove her to swallow it. She winced, her taste buds assaulted by the unexpected sweetness that lingered in the soup.

"This tasted exactly what the restaurant served. Ugh, does he suck at cooking now?" Lucia muttered while wiping her mouth. She wanted to eat it all but decided to recook it to her taste.

"And he said, I will like it. This taste like one of my old cooking before..." Lucia muttered but paused upon realizing the way Gastone had made the food suited her taste prior to meeting him.

Lucia gasped at the realization as tears formed in her eyes. She also noticed that Gastone changed her way of tasting by his excellent food.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Lucia cried, slumping to the ground as she continued crying.

In the end, Lucia didn’t recook the soup and ate it as it was.

The following day, Lucia forced herself to wake up and open her shop since closing too much hurt her wallet.

As Lucia prepared the flowers, she noticed another note pasted on the vase. Her brows furrowed as she picked it up, seeing it was Gastone’s number.

Lucia felt her body shiver in a good way, thinking she had a way to contact Gastone. A surge of emotions swept through her—excitement, a hint of apprehension, and a flicker of hope.

"Maybe... we could... AH! No! I need to focus on Daniel!" Lucia grasped her hair, pulling her strands in frustration. Her body yearned for Gastone, and she thought about sucking his c0ck.

Lucia looked at the number again, and a deep blush of red appeared on her cheeks. "This is fine, I guess." Her heart fluttered at the prospect of reestablishing contact with Gastone.

The mere presence of Gastone’s number scrawled on the note felt like a lifeline.

For a moment, Lucia found herself lost in contemplation, her thoughts oscillating between various scenarios and questions.

Why had Gastone left his number?

"Does he want me to contact him?" Lucia whispered while fluttering her eyelids furiously.

While Lucia was deep in thought. She didn’t notice a customer coming in.

"A penny for your thoughts?" a manly voice spoke.

Lucia flinched and hurriedly hid the paper behind her back. Her eyes widened to see who it was.

"Joseph," Lucia said with a forced smile, but she couldn’t hide her discomfort.

"I’m not going to do anything bad," Joseph stated, raising both hands to show he was harmless.

"Is there something you need?" Lucia asked with a frown. She was fine being civil with Joseph, but he always got on her nerves.

"Ah," Joseph glanced at Lucia’s hand placement where she hid the paper. "Do you have any flowers for the dead?" he asked, leaning forward.

Lucia pursed her lips. She was used to customers coming in and buying flowers for funerals, but they didn’t ask what should be the type of flowers to be sent.

"Well, you can always choose white-colored flowers," Lucia replied and pointed at the section containing them, but Joseph didn’t even bother looking at them at all.

"I see. Thank you," Joseph replied and left without a word.

"That’s weird," Lucia whispered when Joseph was out of the door. She felt her skin tingled, a sense of unease sank within her, and she became conscious that Joseph would harm her in any sort.

There was an unsettling vibe emanating from Joseph that left Lucia on edge.

Lucia’s instincts told her something was off, prompting her to take precautionary measures she hadn’t considered necessary before.

"It’s better than nothing," Lucia reached for a knife and gun under her desk and placed the holder on her thighs for safety.
