Megan stood up and offered her hand for Gastone to shake. She smiled innocently at him, showing her white teeth with a single gold tooth on her left canine.

"I’m Megan. Nice to meet you," she beamed, pushing her hand closer to Gastone.

Gastone squinted his eyes. He faced Navin and asked. "Did you pay already?"

"Ah, yes. Why do you ask?" Navin replied curiously.

"Good," Gastone grabbed Navin’s arm, pulled him up and dragged him away from the table.

Megan was dumbfounded that she was ignored and rejected at the same time. She had planned to woo Gastone by her beauty, but it had no effect.

"Wait!" Megan shouted. Her pride was telling her she needed to be given attention by males.

As Megan was to run toward them, another man blocked his way.

"Don’t you dare follow us," Jorge muttered sternly. His voice vibrated off his chest, showing rage and dominance, which surprised Megan.

Megan looked at Jorge, and she felt her heart leapt in surprise. He was the most handsome man she had laid eyes on. She opened her mouth to reply but felt her throat dried up.

Jorge glared at her before turning his back and left, following Gastone and Navin.

Megan stayed in her spot and stared at Jorge until his figure blended with the crowd.

"I wonder who he is," Megan muttered lustfully. She could imagine sleeping with Jorge and how great it felt.

On the other hand, Navin continuously whined that Gastone pussy blocked him.

"You are still my knight, and you’re not doing your job. If you continue to argue with me. I won’t give you your salary," Gastone stated roughly, yanking Navin’s forward.

"Alright!" Navin sighed deeply. He wished he had never told Jorge to fetch him up.

Gastone glanced at Jorge, who was following behind them. He had heard him talking to Megan to leave them alone and wondered how he felt at that moment.

"Where are we going again?" Navin asked with a pout.

"At the house," Gastone replied shortly.

They were back at the hotel and fetching their horses from the back. They began travelling, but it was slower that time.

Jorge remained silent the whole time, which made Gastone a bit worried. He slowed down his horse and matched with Gastone’s pace.

"How are you feeling?" Gastone whispered.

"I don’t know how to describe it, My Lord, but I can say that I feel I have eaten an expired milk, but instead of throwing it away. I gave it a second chance and tossed it down my throat. Then, after an hour or so, my stomach will grumble, and I feel sick," Jorge explained, hoping it was enough for Gastone to understand.

"Oh, that was... impressive, I might say," Gastone stated awkwardly. He had imagined the scenario of actually consuming expired milk, and he felt his guts shook.

"Haha," Jorge chuckled lowly. He sighed and looked straight ahead. He just wanted to be alone with his thoughts.

Gastone understood the hint, and he left Jorge. He went back in formation where he was in between Jorge and Navin.

It was dark when they arrived at the house. They went into their own rooms to take a rest for the night.

Gastone had put everything into his bags since he planned to stay in the human world for a while.

That was when he noticed the handkerchief the woman indirectly gave him.

"Huh? What is this?" Gastone muttered. He smelled a floral scent coming from the handkerchief. He opened it up, and a piece of paper fell.

Gastone took it and read what was written.

[ I like you. Meet me at Cassa Clothing Boutique; I work there. I desire to meet and get to know you deeper. Love, your Admirer. ]

Gastone raised an eyebrow. He never had any clue as to who it was in the first place.

"Ah, whatever. I don’t want to deal with this," Gastone whispered, throwing the paper away, but he paused. He looked back and took it from the floor.

Gastone returned the letter in the handkerchief and placed it in his bag. Somehow, he wanted to use it as an option when the needed time had come.

After two hours, Gastone was ready to leave. He went outside and knocked on the other house where Navin and Jorge stayed.

Gastone was a meter away when he heard a loud crash from inside. He rushed to open the door and saw Jorge beating Navin in the face.

"What’s going on!" Gastone screamed, but he didn’t stop them.

"My Lord!" Navin shouted desperately. He had multiple bruises and scratches on his skin, while Jorge had less.

Jorge looked up. His eyes were in a deep shade of black, showing his wolf was taking control of his consciousness.

Gastone’s face hardened. He knew he needed to stop their dispute and misunderstanding before he left, or their friendship would be broken.

"Both of you, stand up and tell me what happened," Gastone said sternly. His rough voice boomed with dominance, followed by a growl to show their place.

Jorge froze in the spot before his wolf sunk into consciousness, and his human side took over. He stood up and rubbed his head as he felt lightheaded.

Navin crawled toward Gastone and clung to his feet. "My savior!" he exclaimed.

Gastone crossed his arms, making his appearance buffer than usual. "What happened between the two of you that resulted in violence?" he asked, but one look at Jorge, he already knew the answer.

"I was talking about my date with Megan since he asked, but he proceeded to beat me out of nowhere!" Navin cried out. He went behind Gastone when Jorge flinched to smack his face again.

"Understandable," Gastone nodded before turning his back to leave. He didn’t want to be tangled in their mess and was satisfied with stopping the beating.

"My Lord!" Navin yelled and grasped Gastone’s arm. "He’ll beat me up again after you leave!" he added.

Gastone sighed. He glanced at Jorge, who was fisting his hands tightly.

"Well, it’s up to Jorge to explain. It’s not my job," Gastone stated and raised an eyebrow. He was indirectly encouraging Jorge to speak the truth rather than using violence on someone who had no clue what was going on.

"Eh!" Navin exclaimed. He glanced at Jorge, who remained silent. He could fight back but didn’t want to hurt his fellow knight for something unreasonable.

By then, Navin had put pieces of information together in his head and asked himself why Jorge would react toward his date to Megan.

Navin’s eyes widened at the realization. He stepped forward while pointing at Jorge.

"You... You... Do you like Megan!?" Navin exclaimed his assumption.

Gastone smacked his face. He thought Navin was able to grasp that Megan was Jorge’s mate.

"How can I like a prost1tute!?" Jorge shouted. The veins on his neck looked like they were about to pop due to how angry he was.

"Okay! Then why are you overreacting!?" Navin yelled in desperation to know why he was beaten up.

"Because! Just because!" Jorge replied. He opened his mouth to explain, but he couldn’t say a word that claimed Megan was his mate. He glanced at Gastone, and his eyes begged him to say the words he couldn’t speak.

Gastone sighed. He brushed his hair as it annoyed him a bit.

"My Lord, do you know something I don’t?" Navin asked after seeing their exchange visually.

"Megan is Jorge’s mate," Gastone explained.

That simple answer made Navin realize his faults and why he was beaten up.

"Okay, I understand now, but..." Navin glared at Jorge. "I don’t know about that vital information!" he shouted.

"That’s because you’re a disloyal man and only want to stick your d1ck in any hole you can find!" Jorge snapped back. In his head, Navin has a girlfriend and shouldn’t give any she-wolves his attention in the first place.

"Hah!?" Navin growled. He felt insulted even though it was really his fault, but he didn’t want to admit it. "If you had told me that she’s your mate. I will never touch her!" he shouted.

Jorge reached his limit. He couldn’t believe Navin had the audacity to blame it on him.

"If you keep your d1ck in your pants. That shouldn’t happened in the first place!" Jorge argued back. He stepped forward while growling.

"You’re just jealous that Megan wants me more than you!" Navin screamed. His pride was oozing out.

That word struck and pushed Jorge further. His wolf forcefully emerged, swiftly jumped toward Navin, and punched his face as hard as he could. His emotions were all bottled up in that single punch that knocked Navin unconscious.

Gastone, on the other hand, was pissed and annoyed by Navin’s stubbornness to admit that he was a disloyal boyfriend.

"He deserves it," Gastone sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. He took out a ticket, put it in Navin’s pocket, and gave one to Jorge.

"Present that ticket to the King or whoever is responsible. Your mission is done today," Gastone notified with a smile.
