Alpha's Bite Between My Legs
Chapter 291: The Red Eye

Chapter 291: The Red Eye

Felissa was shocked when Rosina kissed her all of a sudden. When they separated, she couldn’t mutter a single word.

"Now, don’t think about Fabio. Instead, think about the kiss," Rosina giggled when she saw Felissa’s speechlessness. Even her lousy mood vanished from what happened.

"Ki-kiss!" Felissa exclaimed, and it finally sunk in. She grasped her mouth and touched her lips, feeling the softness. A blush appeared on her cheeks, and she avoided Rosina’s gaze.

Somehow, Felissa didn’t feel disgusted that she kissed a woman. Instead, she liked it.

"Yes, so you will remember this kiss more than that @sshole," Rosina stated, pertaining to Fabio’s display of insolence.

"O-okay," Felissa replied with a nod. Her smile vanished as she lowered her head. Her body felt tired from the memories and the energy she spent trying to stay conscious.

Rosina sighed and patted Felissa’s head. "It’s gonna be alright. You need to rest. You can stay here in the Palace if you want for the next few days," she stated and hugged Felissa.

"I’ll think about it," Felissa replied, suddenly remembering that her parents wanted her to find a husband. It was drawn to her that the event was over. "Oh... no!" she exclaimed and grasped Rosina’s hand.

"Huh? What is it?" Rosina asked in confusion.

"My... parents. They want me to find a husband at this event, but I got no one!" Felissa exclaimed in panic. She tightened her grip and pouted with her eyes looking at Rosina like a puppy.

"And? Does that matter? Tell them you haven’t found your mate," Rosina replied since Felissa’s parents couldn’t do anything about it.

"Yeah, but they will be mad. They don’t care about true mates. All they want is a nobleman that can fulfil the Alpha duties since my father wants to retire," Felissa explained and couldn’t help but feel guilty that she wasn’t able to do her job as their daughter.

Rosina knew about the situation in the Midnight pack. She was worried that Felissa would have a hard time, and she wasn’t wrong.

"Then what are you going to do, Felissa? I’m not going to allow anyone to marry a random wolf because of status or wealth," Rosina stated firmly for Felissa to understand that she was not an exemption to the rule.

"I... I know, but my parents...." Felissa paused and removed her hand from Rosina.

"I understand, but as I’ve said before. You are the Alpha’s daughter. You can rule the pack without a mate until you find him. Learn to stand on your ground, Felissa. You have a long way to go," Rosina stated, encouraging Felissa to think about her future as well.

"Then... can I stay here for a few more days?" Felissa asked hopefully.

"Of course, you can stay anytime you want," Rosina replied, pinching Felissa’s cheeks. She couldn’t help but adore her cuteness.

"Thankchuuu," Felissa replied but couldn’t say the word straight.

"Alright, I’ll mind-link Fina to guide you into your room and fetch your stuff right away," Rosina informed and waved at Felissa goodbye.

"Where are you going?" Felissa asked since she wanted to come.

"Hmm, you see. Lord Fabio stressed me a bit. I need to vent some anger to relax myself, or hell will break loose," Rosina replied with a gentle smile. She didn’t want to tell Felissa what she was doing since it would be too much for Felissa to handle.

"Can I come?" Felissa asked cheerfully after hearing that Rosina would vent her emotions. She wanted to relieve some stress as well.

Rosina furrowed her eyebrows. She was surprised that Felissa was eager to come. "I don’t think you can handle it," she replied.

"Please, Rosina. I have been dealing with all these problems thrown at me. I want to get it out!" Felissa raised her voice and slammed her hand into her chest to show her pain.

Rosina stared into Felissa’s eyes and saw the sincereness and determination to tag along. She sighed heavily before grabbing Felissa’s hand. "You can do whatever you want. After all, we have different tastes," she stated.

"Okay," Felissa replied, but she was confused about what Rosina meant but still followed her. Happiness started flowing into her veins when they went down into the dungeon.

"I’ll be taking you to another room after you pick your toy," Rosina informed after she gestured to the knights who guarded the place to open the gate.

"Umm, sure," Felissa replied, unsure what Rosina meant by that.

The door opened, revealing the dungeon packed with wolves in their tattered clothes. All of them had wounds and scars, but some had fresh ones.

Felissa felt a chill on her spine when she smelled blood and flesh inside the dungeon. She went behind Rosina for comfort if something happened.

"Don’t be scared," Rosina giggled at how cute Felissa looked when she was frightened. She pulled Felissa close as they walked further. By then, multiple doors were seen.

Rosina stopped walking and faced the door that had a green-colored knob. "This will be your room. All types of equipment are inside, and you are free to use them to your liking," she stated, opening the door to reveal what was inside.

Felissa’s jaw dropped when she saw what was in it. The room was painted pastel green with living plants on the side for added view. In the middle was a bed with white sheets.

"What is this place?" Felissa asked while entering inside. It looked like a regular room until she saw the tools on the cart beside the bed.

"Hmm, it’s for my enjoyment. Others can use them too, and you’re one of them," Rosina shrugged and opened the cabinet containing other items.

Felissa breathed loudly upon understanding what was going on. She realized what kind of fun her friend was doing in the dungeon.

"Who are those wolves outside?" Felissa asked nervously.

Rosina grinned, and she pulled Felissa with her. They went to the cells where the prisoners were kept. "You see, even though we are able to overthrow the previous Monarch. Some of their allies won’t accept defeat. Why? Because they can no longer benefit from the royalty," she explained.

"And these people are part of those against the new Monarch?" Felissa asked while staring at the prisoner’s faces.

"Yes... Well, technically, some were hired to infiltrate the Palace and gather information to destroy us since they know attacking won’t be effective," Rosina explained while looking into Felissa’s eyes.

"I see. They are indeed on the wrong side. They deserve this," Felissa agreed since she would do the same if an enemy came to her pack.

"It’s good that you understand," Rosina grinned. She was careful not to put Felissa immediately on the dark side, but she was surprised by how Felissa settled with it.

"And since they are captured wolves. Their lives are useless now. They only bring headaches to the pack and take the people’s money since we feed them. I won’t agree to let them rot here with nothing. So I find another way to make them useful," Rosina whispered, touching Felissa’s cheeks.

"Now, my dear Felissa. Why don’t you pick your favorite, and let’s see what will happen next," Rosina added and stepped to the side for Felissa to choose.

Felissa nodded and looked at each wolf. Her heartbeat was beating loudly, not because of fear but excitement. She felt that place was comfortable enough to be free and not kept by the limitations of the outside world.

Rosina watched Felissa over. She received the news from the knights about a couple of animals being eaten. The subject was dropped afterwards since it might just be an animal attack.

But Rosina always thought it wasn’t normal in the animal kingdom. After all, the bite marks were from human teeth.

"I’ll be here if you need me," Rosina gently reassured Felissa. She walked to make it look like she was selecting as well.

"Okay," Felissa replied and continued searching until her attention was caught by a little lady on the corner. "You look beautiful," she stated, crouching down to look closely at the lady’s face.

The lady trembled in fear. She had old marks on her skin and looked like Rosina hadn’t touched her for a while.

"Rosina, I picked this one," Felissa beamed, pointing at the specific cell.

"Ah, you have great taste, Felissa," Rosina grinned and flicked her finger. The knights outside came and unlocked the door.

"No! Please! NOOOOOO! Help me!!!! I don’t want to die!" the lady screamed loudly while trashing around, hoping she would be free, but no matter how much she struggled. Her strength needed to be more.

"Gentlemen, please take the lady to the green door," Rosina stated, and the knights followed without a word.

For Felissa, it was weird since the knights should address the Queen all the time, but when the knights walked passed her. She noticed that their eyes were bright red, hiding behind the helmet.
