Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Kneeling and Begging

Alexander Parker nodded indifferently, "Yeah."

Reese Renfrew was astonished and hugged her son, crying bitterly, "Alex, what’s going on? Why didn’t you tell mom! Are you really blind now?"

But he clearly looked at her just now!

Could it have been just a subconscious reaction to the sound?

Rose Parker also stepped forward and grabbed Alexander’s hand, crying even harder than Reese, "When did this start? Have you been enduring it all alone? If your cousin hadn’t noticed, were you planning to just keep carrying on in silence?"

Alexander hated women wailing like ghosts; he was the one who’s blind, not them, and their crying was getting on his nerves.

He broke free from the two women and walked to his small bed, lying down again.

The entire process was smooth, his movements precise without troubling groping like a blind person would usually have, making him indistinguishable from a normal person at first glance.

Reese finally realized why she couldn’t see her son’s blindness a few days ago, his intelligence was so high that even without sight, he could pretend to see!

Rose caught up, touched her nephew’s forehead, "Sis, Alex has a high fever! Is that why his eyes have problems?"

Reese hurried over to feel, her son’s forehead was extremely hot, yet his face was very pale, her heart shattered, she cried and begged Rose, "Sister, save Alex, take him from here! If this continues, he’ll die in here! He has many injuries, this mental hospital can’t treat them at all, they just lock people up, even healthy ones are driven insane!"

Rose immediately looked up at Christopher Weaver, pleading with her eyes.

Christopher Weaver spoke up immediately, "Alright, you two help him, let’s go!"

Before Reese and Rose could celebrate, Alexander spoke, "I’m not leaving, it’s pretty good here."

Reese was anxious, "What’s good here? This place is full of lunatics!"

"Aren’t I one too?"

Reese screamed at the top of her lungs, "You’re not!"

"Either way, I would be considered a lunatic outside, and here I’m treated like a normal person."

"The medical conditions here are poor. If you like it, come back after your injuries and eyes are healed!"

Alexander was uninterested in this, "What’s so good about living? Mom, have another normal child, I plan to check out the other world."

Reese turned pale with fear, her son always had suicidal tendencies, she was terrified he might actually go through with it, she held him, crying, "What do you want? Mom will give it to you! Do whatever you find interesting; if you die, how can mom go on! You like Isabella, don’t you? I’ll get her to come and play with you!"

Alexander sat up immediately, "Really?"

"Really!"

...

At midnight, Isabella Weaver’s door was knocked on.

She put down her drawing pen, opened the door, and saw Reese Renfrew with swollen red eyes and tear-streaked cheeks, kneeling before her.

"Isabella, I beg you to save your cousin!"

Isabella was startled; when do elders kneel to juniors!

"Please get up first, what’s happened?"

"If you don’t agree, I won’t get up, I’ll kneel to death at your doorstep!"

Isabella withdrew her hand from supporting Reese, over the years, Reese hadn’t changed at all, never considering others, frightening her as a child, threatening her as an adult, now both pleading and coercing.

Her expression remained cold, "Then kneel if you want, I’m going to sleep."
