Chapter 193: The Ancient Revival Project

The blueprints arrived the next day, just like the God of Farming promised. It is placed inside a small box containing the blueprints and inside a tubular container where individual blueprints are placed inside.

Contrary to what Elaina expected, only 5 pieces of blueprints are inside. She thought it would be a lot since they were making an ancient item of some sort and considering the size of the harvester, she thought it would be big enough to warrant lots of blueprints but with only five, perhaps she was overestimating the size?

Since she is not that knowledgeable in terms of these machine thingy, she decided to wait for her brother. Troy said that he would come back again to study the Harvester further and to see if he could take advantage of it while it is still not useful in any sense.

"Elaina? Are you awake already?"

Elaina chuckled to herself. "Well, well. Speak of the devil."

Heading to the gates, Elaina opened the lock gates and let her brother enter. The potted plants that defend the gate already recognize Troy as someone who can be trusted to enter the farm anytime. Of course, Elaina just wanted to make sure that these plants would not hurt him just to make sure.

"You are just in time, Brother. I have something for you."

"Something for me?" Troy was surprised.

"Yeah. It is something to do with the Harvester."

As they arrived at the patio, Elaina then showed Troy the blueprints that the God of Farming gave to her.

"Here, it seems to be the Blueprints to recreate the machine that attaches the harvester."

"Blueprints?" Troy then opened the box and the tubular cases where the blueprints are sealed appeared before him. He proceeded to open one and the blueprints that indicated the machine appeared before him.

"Yep, they are blueprints alright. But I have not seen this kind of blueprint before. This is more intricate and detailed compared to the usual blueprints I have seen before."

He then proceeded to open the other blueprints and he then stumble upon the blueprints for the Harvester which is exactly the piece of junk sitting on Elaina’s farm.

"This...this is indeed the Harvester! And this one blueprint...it indicates how to assemble everything and make it usable! H-how amazing!"

Troy began to talk in a jargon that Elaina couldn’t understand. She can only nod and get puzzled as Troy continues to talk about it without a pause. He was so passionate about it that he stopped after realizing that the one he was talking to was someone who had no idea what he was talking about.

"Oops, sorry about that. But anyways, how did you get these blueprints, Elaina? These blueprints are something that even I didn’t know existed!"

Elaina immediately answered with a made-up lie to convince Troy. "I don’t know. Someone had dropped this in front of the farm door and it seems that even Shardu and Zaza didn’t notice who it was. Someone just casually dropped it and gave the blueprint to us."

"...In any case, this blueprint will be necessary to recreate this thing back to its former glory. Based on the blueprint labeling, it seems this machine is called the Tractor. But Elaina, everything is up to you now. Now with these blueprints, we can recreate this machine back to its original form. What are your plans?"

"My plans? Since the blueprints are already in our hands, perhaps you can do it? I am not sure if you can create the machine one to one but if you do, then..."

"Elaina. Don’t underestimate my skills. As the chief of automaton mechanics, chief machinist and leader of maintaining the machines in Luminiera for as long as I remember, building this again is something of my forte. I don’t know how hard it is but I will make sure to make it revive to its former glory."

Hearing Troy declare that, Elaina is now sure that the Blueprints are in his good hands.

"If that is the case, I will leave it to you, brother. As much as I want to help, this is beyond my expertise and I can only provide moral support on this one. However, where are you going to remake the thing?"

"I will be asking to occupy a little area for me and my trusted colleagues in recreating the Tractor. Since this machine will be big, we will be recreating this from scratch and to make this matter a bit of a secret, we will be making the machine here on your farm. I won’t be too worried about the privacy since the farm is big and we can test it out in here any time so this is the perfect place to assemble the tractor. Once we complete the tractor, I will give the tractor to you since it is yours to begin with, we just revive it to its former glory," Troy explained.

"That’s fine. We have plenty of space for you to occupy. But make sure that it won’t disturb us whenever you guys will work. I heard making some machines like this is pretty noisy."

"No worries, Sister. We have the technology for a soundproofing system that we will install to ensure that no one will be disturbed in the process of making the tractor here on the farm. And besides, we will not be making the parts here. We will only assemble the thing so no pollution as well."

Elaina nodded. "That’s good to know. I don’t want pollution to suddenly make its way to my crops. That is a big no, no for me."

With this, Elaina officially gave Troy permission to make the Tractor and revive it. He then began to contact his associates and Elaina was not surprised by Troy’s capabilities.

"[Well, what did I tell you? Your brother will take the job after seeing the blueprints. And with the tractor becoming yours after it is remade, isn’t it going to be amazing?]" the God of Farming was excited.

"Although you sound enthusiastic, I don’t know much about this vehicle at all. They have tools and whatnot attachments that I don’t understand and I don’t see it being used for the farm at all."

"[Don’t worry. Despite its looks, this vehicle is something that has been used before. Don’t you know that besides carrying heavy loads of items, it can also do harvesting crops in one go and tilling the soil with the addition of sowing seeds and putting fertilizer in one go? It’s no longer manual, but an automatic action now.]"

Elaina was stunned at first but then immediately frowned. "But how does that work?"

"[I can’t properly explain it without the actual thing so for me to explain it properly, we needed the tractor fully rebuilt again. We will have to wait until then.]"

Hearing that, Elaina can only sigh. Although she is still not convinced about how it will help with the farm, based on the words of the God of Farming alone, the tractor’s uses might be something that she will indeed find useful in the future. With her farm so big, manually tilling the soil by hand will take days to do. And like what the God of Farming said, they only have to wait and see.
