Chapter 192: The Ancient Tractor

Elaina finalized the payment and the harvester is now her property. Troy helped out on putting the item inside the dimensional bag. Due to its size, it took a bit before it was placed inside.

"I don’t know why you bought that Sis, but I want to also study that thing. It seems to be from the ancient times and I want to check it out myself, is it alright?" Troy asked.

"Sure," Elaina nodded. Since it was still a part, she couldn’t really see it being used on the farm at all.

The group continued to remain and while they were currently paying for the harvester, their grandparents managed to snag something out of the auction. It seems that there are some things that the auction does offer to various people. In the end, her grandparents snag at least 3 items sold on the auction and they all took those for themselves. Elaina didn’t care about it since it seemed that what they got were all items that were related to adventuring and she didn’t have much any idea or experience regarding adventures.

When the group returned to the farm, it was already afternoon. Princess Margaux is already exhausted and is currently being carried by Grandpa on his back in a piggyback ride. For Grandpa’s age, he is still quite sturdy enough to be able to carry Princess Margaux without complaining about his back.

"So? How is the fair?" Grandpa asked.

"Pretty great, to be honest. I didn’t expect to even snag a few goodies on the way. I thought I wouldn’t even be buying anything," Elaina said as she managed to buy a few stuff for herself while the gods demanded a few things that she also got.

"Gotta say, the fair today is quite big. We only managed to explore half of the fair’s stalls today. Since the fair will be a week-long thing, we can go and check out the rest of the stalls. Are you all up for tomorrow?" Grandpa asked.

"I will pass on this one, Grandpa. As much as I do want to explore, money is the issue and I am also going to be busy tomorrow."

"Well, that is understandable. Anyway, we will be buying a few things that we might find good for you, Elaina. We will bring souvenirs if we find one," Grandpa said.

"Thanks in advance, Grandpa."

After that, Troy and Julia took out the items that they got from the fair which is for Elaina the speargun, and the Harvester part. Elaina now had a proper close look at the Harvester. Even Troy was investigating the Harvester with interest.

"This is indeed quite peculiar in terms of design alone. It looks like a big comb but it also looks like a fork. But based on its size, it doesn’t seem to be something used by giants. This is indeed a part of a machine," Troy genuinely took his time investigating every nook and cranny of the Harvester.

"God of Farming, as much as I believe you on this one, this item seems to be beyond useful for me at this moment. I don’t even see it being used on the farm at all and I don’t understand why you call it the "Harvester" for being a comb or a fork."

"[Right now, it doesn’t look like it but trust me. I have seen this item before and it is known as a tool for farmers back in the day. I am quite happy to see this thing once again.]" the God of Farming said, seemingly sentimental.

"Really? So what is next? As much as this will be a useful thing, it will not show its usefulness until it becomes a real machine again."

"[Don’t worry. I already asked the God of Machinery to construct a draft regarding that thing. He is pretty busy so he can only give us a few blueprints for the parts that we will need to complete this thing. And I think your brother will have the skill to create and mold it again back to normal.]"

"So my brother has to build this machine for me to see its full potential. I don’t doubt my brother but this is an ancient tech. How possible is it for my brother to even complete this thing?" Elaina asked.

"[Pretty high. I have seen his works and how he constructed different teleporters before, this thing is going to be a cinch for him to create.]" the God of Farming said.

Elaina immediately remembered when she just started settling down on the farm and when Troy visited the farm for the first time, he did put some teleporters for him to use to travel back and forth from his house in Luminiera Kingdom to the farm. The God of Farming does have a point. If he can make that kind of tech, then creating ancient tech like this that doesn’t involve multiple things that are hard to comprehend is not a big problem.

While she is still thinking about how her brother can create the thing, the God of Farming has a follow-up regarding the Harvester.

"[Elaina, the God of Machinery has already given me a few blueprints. I will be sending them to you tomorrow morning since I will have to translate the parts into human language for a bit. Most of what he has written on the blueprints is not something a human can understand so it will take some time. I will be busy so don’t disturb me unless it is really important, alright?]"

Scratching her head, Elaina stares at Troy who continues to inspect the harvester with great interest. Despite the harvester looking like junk, he continues to inspect it like it is something made of something great. Despite that, Elaina still fails to see how this thing can help. Even her imagination can’t help much about it and she only fails to realize it. In the end, she decided to give up thinking too much and decide to wait for the blueprints to arrive and judge it for herself.
