Chapter 138: Troy’s Retaliation

Elaina has never been so angry before. Yes, she was angry during the battle against her parents and the people of the church but it didn’t escalate too much to this and even Julia could tell that Elaina had her anger exploding. If she hadn’t used her magic just now, Elaina might have killed Alfred as a result. She can easily see that Elaina plans to execute Emperor Alfred back there earlier but thankfully, it seems that thing was aborted.

Emperor Alfred also collapsed due to his wounds while the other soldiers had already collapsed from the beating they received. Although Emperor Alfred is not in a critical state, he is still bleeding badly and if he isn’t treated immediately, it won’t take too long before he will die and everyone cannot afford for that to happen.

Julia used a first aid magic she recently learned and cast it on the people who Elaina, including Emperor Alfred, injured. It was a half-assed attempt as the magic barely did anything aside from stopping the bleeding completely. Despite the bleeding already stopped, the wounds are still present and they are still looking as bad as before with barely any improvements.

"Ugh, no wonder master said that even if I try to use healing magic, I would just be better to learn how to do first aid than to learn healing magic. It was sh*t..." Julia sighed in disappointment.

"I will try to heal them, Miss Julia. Perhaps you should call Doctor Fey and ask for help? We don’t know what will happen to Miss Elaina at this rate," Princess Margaux then proceeded to cast her usual low healing spell. It wasn’t much but it is slowly healing everyone.

"Yeah, I think that is a much better idea. We can’t afford to endanger both the lives of Sis and the babies."

Julia then snaps her fingers and she disappears on the spot. It didn’t take a few minutes before she returned with Dr. Fey and Troy in both hands as they reappeared from where Julia stood.

"Dr. Fey! Please help! Sis Julia collapsed once again!"

Troy saw the fatigued look of Elaina and didn’t think twice as he carried Elaina immediately.

"Girls! Open the door! Make way to the patient!"

Princess Margaux didn’t hesitate to do so and let Troy enter the house with Elaina in his arms. Everyone can tell that he is worried to the bone as he carries his sister in his arms straight to her bed. As soon as she was now lying in her bed, Dr. Fey immediately began her examination and cast a healing wave to Elaina to stabilize her condition and reduce the fatigue she was currently experiencing.

"Just what happened? Why is Elaina like this again? She wasn’t like this back when we did some shopping for her kitchen!" Troy angrily asked for an explanation to Julia.

"Sir! Emperor Alfred appeared before Sister after I detected intruders on the farm. It seems they have heard or known that Sister lives here and decided to raid the farm. This caused the injury of the bodyguards who are currently guarding the farm while we were on the beach tonight. When we arrived, they were already in critical condition as the men of Emperor Alfred attacked the farm.

As soon as Troy heard this, his anger peaked. "Where is the bastard?"

"He is outside. He was fatally slashed and was almost killed by Sister. We intervened to prevent Sister from killing someone who is the highest authority in another kingdom.

"This f*cking bastard, how dare he try to do this? Where is he now?"

"Unconscious, along with everyone outside who is still writhing in pain. I healed them earlier but they are not good healing so it is enough for those soldiers to not die but they are not in good shape either," Princess Margaux said.

"Julia, give me a rope. A long one in length to be more precise."

Julia understood what Troy wanted after hearing the word rope. She conjured one using her magic and handed it to Troy.

"This is a rope made of mana. It is not going to break so easily and cannot be cut by an ordinary knife or sword so this is a good way to tie something or someone without them moving away.

Troy looked at the rope for a while before he looked at Julia again with a resolute look on his face. "Give me two."

Troy along with Julia returned outside as the latter pointed to the former where the emperor and his men were lying.

While the emperor is unconscious, Troy takes his chances to tie up the men using the mana rope that Julia created. Julia helped as well as she tied the already tied up people on their legs so that they couldn’t run. And since the rope is connected while being tied together, everyone is bound on the same rope and will not be able to properly get all of them off. After tying them all up, the two then tied up both ropes on the big tree to ensure they wouldn’t be moving away.

Troy also took advantage that they were injured and unconscious to search for their pockets and their bodies for anything that they could use to escape. He also asked Julia to ensure that every one of them had their magic sealed to prevent them from teleporting away or even using any magic that could ruin everything they set up.

Since there aren’t that many, they were done fast and Troy quietly watches the unconscious people without saying anything.

"Julia, can you conjure water magic?"

"Yes, I can do that. I also can conjure ice magic and earth magic as well," Julia revealed.

"We just needed water. How good are you with it?"

"Good enough, I guess?" Julia is not sure what Troy is planning.

"Good enough huh? That’s fine. Then, how about spraying them with water in full burst capacity? Like those water bursting out of pipes type of water strength?"

"P-pardon?" Julia was surprised.

"A little pain wouldn’t hurt them. And besides, it’s just water. Waking them up like that should be enough to knock them back to reality, shouldn’t they?"

"I will give it a try but there is no guarantee they will immediately wake up."

"That’s fine," Troy nodded.

Hearing that Julia then proceeded to spray a lot of water on the unconscious people including the Emperor.

"Don’t stop spraying unless you run out of mana or I said you can stop."

Julia nodded and continued to do her best to spray the water to all of the men unconscious. Since some of them didn’t pass out too long and some were just trying to sleep on the pain, they started screaming as soon as the water was being blasted on their faces, pleading for Julia to stop. Even the emperor woke up due to the cold water being blasted right into their faces.

As for Troy, he slowly wears a mechanical glove that he usually uses as a mechanism. Julia doesn’t know the main purpose of that glove but she doesn’t know why Troy is wearing that right now.

"Alright Julia, that’s enough water for them. Looks like they are drenched enough right to the very deepest parts of their bodies," Troy said as he looked at everyone shivering from the cold.

"Sir, don’t tell me you are about to do something?"

"Do something? Of course, I will. Who in their right mind will allow these f*ckers to mess with my sister? I don’t care if he is a king or a f*cking emperor to another land, this f*cker messed with my sister so that counts as messing up with me."

While he was saying that, electricity started to crackle on his mechanical glove’s palm, confirming Julia’s suspicion about what Alfred was about to do. But Julia didn’t stop him. She felt that this punishment was not enough. For her, she could just freeze them and let them freeze to death inside the ice.

As Troy is about to do it, Alfred immediately tries to stop him.

"Troy, don’t do this. I am not here intending to harm my wife-Guhk!" Alfred didn’t get to finish what he was about to say as Troy kicked him in the stomach.

"I don’t care about your reasons for why you are here. And for your information, Elaina already stopped being your wife the moment you started cheating on someone else. I still can’t forgive you for ruining the happy marriage that Elaina thought she had. It would have been fine and dandy if only you could keep that stick of yours stay put in one place for once. But I guess, you became too arrogant to think my sister would accept that ridiculous thing you are planning to propose to her."

"B-but it’s her sister! She should-" Troy stopped him from speaking again with another kick, this time, on his face, causing one of his front teeth to fall off.

"That’s the biggest mistake you made, dumbass, you decided to cheat on my sister with our sister. Even I would find it a big f*ck you to Elaina and yet you decided to roll on with it? Be grateful that I decided that you will not die, but that doesn’t mean you will not suffer. Now, taste the pain that Elaina suffered after you cheated on her."

The crackling electricity appeared to dance on Troy’s palm. Julia backed away slowly as Troy grinned.

"Grit your teeth, boys, this will be an electrifying day. You might suffer for a while but trust me, it won’t kill you, I promise."

And proceeds to slam his gloves to the trail of water and discharging a modest amount of electricity to them.
