Chapter 139: Elaina’s Condition and Fate of Alfred

The next morning finally arrived but unlike the usual morning where everyone is happy and refreshed, everyone is not in a good mood. The Feys sighed as they cleared up the stomped and destroyed crops that were already growing on the field due to the last battle that Shardu and Zaza had against the men of Alfred who suddenly appeared last night. Although not everything was destroyed during the fight, the majority of the plants cannot be saved and the Feys were not happy with the outcome. They didn’t blame the two as they were doing their jobs but they blamed this on the attackers.

The Harvest Goddess and the female merfolk finally got to rest after taking care of both Zaza and Shardu after the battle. Both of them are currently slumped underneath the tree, sleeping after exhausting themselves from healing both.

Both Zaza and Shardu are in good condition and are now sleeping to naturally recover their health as well. Since they are beasts, their best way to heal their wounds and injuries is by sleeping, and since they are sleeping in the land where the mana is pure and bountiful, they can recover their wounds faster with this method.

The Hencluckles were also shaken from all the chaos that happened inside the farm but it is thanks to the pixie that the Hencluckles didn’t start to call monsters in panic by casting a sleep spell on them, letting them slumber during the ordeal. Thanks to Jacob’s handiwork, the coop is not damaged and stands proud even after everything last night.

As for the actual perpetrators of the incident, they are still passed out, smoke still coming out of their bodies after being shocked by Troy’s gloves. They are not dead, but they are not in good condition. Dr. Fey should be treating them but she is so worried about Elaina’s condition that she doesn’t come home and decides to stay and watch over Elaina. At the moment, Elaina’s breathing has finally stabilized after the incident. Because of overwhelming emotions and outbursts of energy she expended in anger, she would be in a perilous position and her pregnancy might have been in a bad position. But it seems that she is no longer afflicted by that and she is now fine.

"Miss Elaina is finally in stable condition and the babies are now safe from harm. We don’t need to worry about them anymore and just let Elaina rest."

Troy, Princess Margaux, and Julia sighed in relief after hearing the diagnosis of Dr. Fey.

"So she is far from harm now?" Julia asked.

"Although she is already stable, please make sure to stop her from doing things that can potentially increase her emotions like anger as that can affect the state of the babies’ health. We should be lucky that there are no complications that happened when she collapsed last night but please, as the companions of Miss Elaina, don’t expose her too much to stressful places shortly," Dr. Fey suggested.

Julia didn’t say anything and only nodded, while Troy quietly clenched his fists. He then went to talk to Dr. Frey privately and it seems it is about the ruined fireworks watchalong experience they should have done that night. If not for the trouble that arises from the appearance of Alfred and the others, perhaps they would have been happy right now.

Princess Margaux stood up and was about to go out when Julia followed her.

"Where are you going, Princess?" Julia asked.

"I needed to inform my sister and brother about this matter. Seeing the emperor of Luminiera Kingdom himself entering the borders of Darcero Kingdom is something that shouldn’t happen especially since the ban is currently ongoing which means there must be something that has been happening behind the security’s backs that is causing people from Luminiera Kingdom to enter the premises of Darcero Kingdom without the need of passing and questioned by the guards on the holding area. As the princess of Darcero Kingdom, I can’t afford to turn a blind eye to this one. Not only that, I think we will have to ask Miss Elaina what is her relationship with the current Emperor of the Luminiera Kingdom as well to ensure that we know this matter fully."

Julia sighed and nodded after hearing it, "Understood. Since Sis is still unconscious, I will explain things in her stead. Since I was part of the people that served Sister before she came here and settled down as a farmer."

Princess Margaux nodded before she left. Julia can only shake her head and look at Elaina still unconscious on the bed. She is fine now, but she is not in a good situation. And just because of this incident, her little cover just to remain anonymous has finally been blown over.

Still, it seems this incident will soon become a very big deal that would create a big rift between the Darcero Kingdom and Luminiera Kingdom.

After Princess Margaux left to report this incident to her siblings, it didn’t take long for the soldiers of Darcero Kingdom to arrive and enter the farm followed by Princess Margaux, the First Prince and The First Princess.

The First Prince approached the unconscious Alfred and removed the little soot on his face by blowing some magic over his face, revealing the real form of the unconscious man.

"Without a doubt, it is indeed the Emperor of the Luminiera Kingdom, Alfred Luminiera. I never expected him to be here and be in this state," The First Prince is surprised by the outcome and it seems that the reveal was something that he wasn’t expecting to see.

"Why is he in the Darcero Kingdom in the first place? Shouldn’t the ban include even him? I don’t think Mother and Father invited anyone including the Emperor himself here in Darcero Kingdom so there is no way they were a special case."

One guard stepped forward to the First Princess and gave a salute.

"Princess! According to our reports, there is no sign that he passed by from the gates itself. He didn’t have records or any appointments that would allow him to enter this place properly."

"I see. So since he didn’t enter the main gate, that must mean he entered the territory of Darcero Kingdom without anyone or anything that invited him inside."

"He entered the other way huh? That must mean a smuggling operation is happening in the shadows that we didn’t expect to be running and thriving under the situations of this matter. Thanks to the efforts of the Emperor of Luminiera Kingdom, it seems that we can finally see that there are some people currently violating the law and order," The first Prince sighed and shook his head.

"Soldiers, untie all of the unconscious men and also carry them to the dungeons. Yes. Including the emperor himself. He might have been the absolute ruler in the Luminiera Kingdom, but that doesn’t mean he is already exempted from everything. We will start questioning his motives as soon as we can."
