Chapter 137: Bloody Confrontation

Several explosions spread out through the sky as the countdown finally took off. However, the three who were supposed to be watching the fireworks display never saw it as they were rushing back to the farm after the warning of Julia that there were trespassers currently on the farm.

"How many are there?"

"Several Sis. I don’t know what is happening but they are moving around the farm and from the looks of it, they are already fighting over there."

"No, Zaza!" Princess Margaux is now worried for Zaza who is also guarding the house with Shardu after they left.

When they are on the perimeter of the farm, they can hear several screams and some bursts of explosions happening on the farm. Elaina grits her teeth to keep herself from getting her temper rising. She is worried about what the trespassers will do to the other residents of the farm and she will not just tolerate them vandalizing the farm just like that.

As soon as they arrived, Julia burst through the gate, without caring if the other party would notice them or not. The scene made the three shocked with Elaina soon seething in anger and hatred.

Zaza is wounded once more, this time, more of the wounds are coming from his head and some of his wounds are inflicted on the body. He was currently being tended on the side by the Feys, the Pixie, and the female merfolk. It seems that they are being protected by some barrier. On the other hand, Shardu valiantly protects the farm and Shardu is already using the beast form that Shardu doesn’t usually use but this time seems to be the exception. Just like Zaza, Shardu is no better in terms of wounds as Shardu is also littered with wounds around its body. But compared to Zaza, Shardu seems to be still fine and standing.

As for the Harvest Goddess, she is currently protecting the crops and chicken coop as much as she can as she is not someone who is combat-oriented. She is also injured and Elaina can tell that the three are doing their best to defend the place.

On the other hand, the trespassers are also valiantly attacking as well. There are some injured people on their side as well but they are mostly fine due to some of the mages blocking most of the attacks. Elaina immediately recognized most of them due to the armor and clothes that they wore. No one else in the world would wear them unless they are affiliated with the said group.

And that group is none other than the Luminiera Army and the Luminiera’s Castle Guards. And behind them is someone that she is dreading and was happy to not see for a year due to the entry ban that the Darcero Kingdom has bestowed over to the Luminiera Kingdom. Who would have thought that Elaina would be seeing that person before her eyes once more?

Hatred, anger, and different emotions are slowly packing through her body. Not only do they vandalize the farm as if they own it, but they injure and try to kill everyone in sight. How preposterous!

Elaina no longer holds back. Grabbing her sword’s hilt, she rushes forward with rage fueling her power to slice through the barrier that was supposed to be erected to protect them from any attack. Elaina easily shatters them causing the mage who was currently maintaining the shield from being destroyed to receive the damage that was dealt to the barrier. It was enough for the mage to collapse and fall unconscious as Elaina fatally inflicted severe wounds on the mage.

"Empress Elaina is here!" one of the soldiers shouted, seemingly to stop the attack from happening.

"Elaina my d-" Alfred who was happy to see Elaina once again did not get to continue as Elaina sliced through him using her sword the soldiers immediately dragged the Emperor away before Elaina could proceed and fatally slice him and perhaps even kill him in the process.

"Protect the emperor!" the soldiers shouted as they immediately blockaded themselves to stop Elaina’s rampage.

"Dare to block my way to the f*cker and I will deal with you all personally! MOVE OR ELSE!"

The soldiers can feel the killing intent currently seeping through Elaina’s body and they fear it, but they don’t falter and remain still to defend the wounded emperor.

"THEN DON’T BLAME ME IF I KILL YOU ALL IN THE PROCESS!"

But before Elaina can do that, Julia uses her magic to cause a big ice crystal to burst forth from the ground, injuring and destroying the guards in the process, and breaking the blockade.

"I know you are angry, Sis. But don’t stain your hands permanently by killing them. Fatally injuring them should be fine, but don’t kill them!" Julia said as she retracted her magic and the big ice crystal disappeared.

Elaina blankly looked at the injured soldiers. For one, she no longer feels sympathy from them. Second, they got what they deserved.

"E-Elaina...w-why..."

Instead of answering the question, Elaina kicks the emperor lying weakly on the ground. The soldier who is protecting the emperor tries to block Elaina only to meet her feet and get kicked in the face.

"Why are you here, bastard?" Elaina points her sword to Alfred who is now having a hard time moving. If not for the surprise attack that Elaina did to him, perhaps he could still defend himself from her but it seems that wasn’t the case.

"E-Elaina...let’s go back home...to where we once..."

"No. This is now my home, Alfred. You think I would just take you lightly just because you decided to vandal my place like this without everyone’s permission?"

Elaina steps through his wounds once again, causing the emperor to scream in pain.

"Stop! I am sorry, Elaina!"

Before the situation escalates, Elaina proceeds to kick the poor guy as hard as she can causing the latter to be sent flying into the hard fence where he loses consciousness in the process.

As for Elaina after a standing a few more seconds, she soon wobbles and fell with both Julia and Princess Margaux catching her before she collapse completely on the ground.
