Elaina and the Feys are already in full swing from harvesting the melons. Elaina felt so energized and full of energy after eating the melon that she didn’t feel the heat at all even though the sweltering weather is clearly showing its hotness. It was like she does not feel it at all. More like she still feel fresh even after staying in the heat of the sun for a few hours already.

"Is this the effect of this watermelon? It cools down the one who ate the melon, or they have an ability to nullify heat from the sun completely? No that can’t be right, I can still feel the heat but it is no longer a problem. Is it more into stabilizing the temperature of the body and controlling the amount of heat that enters the body?"

"[Pretty close, but no. It’s main effects is to regulate the temperature and convert the excess heat into a normal temperature so that your body will feel cool under the heat. I added that effect to this melon with the summer heat in mind.]"

Elaina couldn’t believe her ears. Something that help the body cool down normally while also converting the remaining heat as normal heat is something that might break the market if sold in bulk.

"The modified plants never fail to surprise me. This effect is something I won’t even think to be something a melon is capable of doing. I would assume more that magic would be more effective in mitigating heat but it seems that the melons are more useful in that regard."

After knowing its effects, Elaina had a clear grasp on what this can do and she can tell that these people who wanted to eat the melon will want to get their hands on additional melons that can do this kind of effect. In short, the melons will become part of the demands. It is perfect for summer and a perfect way to capitalize for profit.

Elaina grinned. Her merchant blood is tingling and her business acumen is acting up again. She needed to make a good use of this and exploit it as something more profitable than just selling it as normal melon.

Taking one of the melons from the pile of the harvest, she called the Feys.

"Hey guys! Come there for a second."

"Boss?" Bam asked in a curious tone.

"Did we do something?" Poe looked worried.

"Oh no, no. Don’t worry. I am not here to scold anyone. Instead, I am giving your family a big melon as a reward. This is not the payment. This is more like a gift for you guys."

"A gift?"

"But we don’t do anything special in particular for us to receive such a gift?" both the children questioned Elaina’s questionable actions.

"Just working hard enough for us to reach this far is already something that you people should be proud of. It’s a gift that I want your family to receive. Go on, and take it. I will be offended if you guys don’t accept it," Elaina then started to look saddened.

"W-well Boss, we don’t mean to upset you. So we will accept this gratefully!" Bam immediately bowed as he and his family carry the melon back to the house.

Elaina smiled and pick up another melon in her hands before she toss it to the stream. Instead of floating into the water, the watermelon sink and disappeared into the water. Before the Harvest Goddess can even appear, another melon landed into the water stream which also landed squarely into the water and sank like a sinking ship.

"Woah, woah, woah! Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, Elaina? What’s with this rare and generous gift you suddenly handed over?" the Harvest Goddess was surprised since she wasn’t even generous to begin with.

"Hey, just because I felt the need to become generous, you would then doubt about my intentions. I can tell that you are greedy for donations so I am also generous enough to help out. And besides, aren’t you already taking care of two more individuals in your realm? That will also give them a good idea of this watermelon as something to eat."

"Wow... I don’t think I am dreaming. You are getting generous for once."

"I don’t know if that is an insult or something else because I felt like you have some underlying meaning behind those words but I will make it slide. Anyways, that is still considered as something of a repayment for the blessing you gave to this plant which allowed to grow properly and yield more than it should have. You can also say that without your contribution, this watermelons will not have this much numbers to begin with. So be prepared for everything."

The Harvest Goddess smiled and nodded at Elaina before she disappeared again into the water stream. Although she didn’t hear a single thank you, Elaina can already tell about it and is happy that even a normal goddess felt happy to see it.

Elaina then carried a few more melons inside the basket and put it inside the house. The stock she put will be a reserve for them to eat. After all, this is something Elaina wanted to share to many people suffering from heat as much as possible and the first people she wanted to spread it is none other than Julia and Princess Margaux. She also have some watermelon spares ready for Princess Tabatha, and the First Prince in case they visit.

And for the rest, is for sale. Sale that Elaina wanted to capitalize and not just use it as is for a melon. The more it will get popular as time goes on, many people will find the product. And since this will be only popular during summer, keeping it for summer alone is the time it is more profitable enough

"Yes, I got an idea. I will make sure this watermelon will become the perfect tool that will elevate the experience of summer amidst the sweltering weather. That alone is a big win.
