Let me be honest with you, this was very good in the beginning but after he ascended to next realm(or planet?) I did not like it that much, I am currently at the end of arc where mc acts like he works for seo Hweol .i will continue reading it and change the rating if it gets better.

This novel is truly one of the greatest of all time - on par with Shadow Slave, Reverend Insanity, and Lord of the Mysteries.

What sets it apart is not just its compelling plot, but the profound philosophy woven into the story and the actions of Seo Eun-hyun. You can genuinely feel the author's passion in every word - from the intricately crafted side characters to the vivid worldbuilding.

If you're just starting out with web novels, this one is a must-read, right alongside the titles mentioned above.

Another remarkable aspect: while it may not have as many chapters as some other series, it certainly doesn’t feel any shorter. Each chapter is rich, detailed, and impressively long - making the reading experience just as satisfying.

Reading The Regressor’s Tale was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had with a fantasy novel in a long time. I went into it expecting a standard “hero relives the past to fix the future” plot, but what I found was so much deeper and more emotionally resonant than I imagined.

The main character, really grew on me. At first, he felt like your typical jaded warrior, but as the story unfolded—and as he regressed through different timelines—I started to feel the weight of his journey. The idea of remembering every mistake, every death, and having to start over again is both haunting and fascinating. I found myself wondering what I’d do in his place.

What struck me most was how the book handled morality. There are no easy choices, and even the “right” decisions come with consequences. It made me pause and reflect on how we all wish we could go back and change things—but would it really fix anything?

The writing was lyrical without being too flowery, and the pacing kept me hooked. I genuinely didn’t want it to end. If you're someone who enjoys introspective, character-driven fantasy with a touch of time travel, The Regressor’s Tale of cultivation is worth every page.

This is an absolute must-read novel. It’s easily the second-best regression story after Infinite Regressor. And man, I love Seo Hyun so so much, he’s a straight-up goated MC. What’s also impressive is the female cast. Every single one of them is a peak-tier character. I’ve only seen characters like them in Reverend Insanity and Infinite Regressor.

MC gives VERY good advice. The dao heart between the two brothers is strong! Coming back to it after a very long time, no regrets! The premise is pretty good. He actually matures as he gets older too.

I won't say it's the best cultivation novel ever (I don't want to start a fight), but it's definitely one of the best and my favorite. The world building is fantastic and the author manages to give a deep meaning to everything, in this world even SALT has aura.

One of the best cultivation novels I’ve read. The MC actually uses his future knowledge smartly, and the story stays interesting all the way through. The power system makes sense, the worldbuilding is solid, and the side characters aren’t just fillers. Definitely worth reading.

The novel is really good. MC isn't OP and has to struggle for every shred of power he gets. The novel has a lot of lore to explore, and world building is top tier. The main characters are well fleshed out, and MC goes through A LOT of character growth. There is some romance involved, but it's not a core to the story. I recommend reading until the end of the 10th regression before deciding whether you drop the novel or not. This story is truly PEAK.
