Good story, good character development, and amazing antagonists. The more you read the better it gets.

Do yourself a favour and go read it

I've only just started reading novels, but I can say with certainty that this novel is peak. Now I've finished the fifth regression and so far each regression has been more and more emotive

very good novel, currently at the start of 17th cycle, thought i would give it a review. im not gonna read this until it is complete forgive me but so far it is very good. especially the theme with the enders and how mysterious they are, seo hweol is a top tier villian alr, all these plot twists are mind blowing. i appreciate the mcs mortality a lot, idk why other people dislike it for once we have a guy who is actually human and gives a f*ck about morals. the only problem i have is the romance, like 10 years and u are about to confess only for her to fucking die? are you kidding me author? when will my boy euhn hyun get his happiness? he suffers so much and  he never finds love, even when he was with mad lord and the kim i forgot her last name dies and they dont live happliy for atleast a bit, making her die after they kiss. the ghost lady and his alter ego romance was heart wrenching as well.  i saw some people this guy complaining about him wanting to get rid of his regression ability, even thought it makes sense. imagine the girl you loved for years turned to a stranger in an instant, all your friends dont remember you and how you would have to rebuild every single relationship, it would be the most painful thing ever, having to rebuild relationships over and over. anyways, hope he ends up with someone at the end without them dying or i will be PISSED.

The mc is a huge beta male and also the biggest reason why I am making this review cuz I hate him. I am still being generous with this rating I think

Great novel, I think that if you like revered insanity you might like this novel too. I'm on chapter 170 ish and am taking a break from this for a while.

Greatest antag oat (Seo hweol > Adam >> Amon), the protag is top 3 in WN and top 8 in asian media for me (Fang > Klein >= Seo > KDJ)

Definitely worth reading and gaps orv

The start is slow. But once you get past the starting few chapters, it is without a doubt in my mind... Peak Fcking Fiction. Try it. Really, give it a try. And also try Seoul Object Theory. It's also a good one.

Up to chapter 339, and in my opinion I think that Rtoc is good, but has some flaws that I would like to point out. While the plot is enjoyable, especially at the end of every life cycle, the romance is quite bad honestly, the mortal realm fights were really horrendus to read with technique spams and etc that makes it hard to imagine what it would look like in my head unlike lotm or ss or even Demon Prince returns to the academy. Additionally I felt like the protagonist despite living for so long is quite dull and everytime he plots something, we get tell Tell, don't show which diminishes the genius of the plans. However I would also say this is a strong point for this character because unlike fang yuan or klein, eun hyun is a dullard and so he practices relentless. Now that we're done with the negatives, the positives definitely outweight the negatives with the great plot and enjoyable characters like Kim Youngyoon and the other great side characters. The protagonist is also very kind and sincere to those who he loves and is merciless against those he vows vengeance to. The enlightenment he attains is genuinely great but repetitive at times.

The lore and the plot are revealed in  such a way that it still gives you food for thought while the mystery and the thrill is maintained. And the side charcaters... most novels just introduce some character and later forget about them, but here? each character has an lasting impact and depth. Also, the author put A LOT of effort into making the power system actually meaningful and not just some brain-rot like other cultivation novels. I could go on and on about like this and the list never ends.heavily suggest reading this novel. ITS PEAK 🔥🔥
