Chapter 28: Chapter 28- Nectar

Eva’s green eyes were darker, the drug made her insides itch, her skin crawling as the man touched her.

She bit hard on her tongue to keep herself sane. The man frowned, impatient at her stubbornness.

’’Your stubbornness won’t help you.’’ He taunted, moving back as his hands went for her top.

’’Come closer,’’ she whispered in a strained tone. The man paused his actions. He loves it when his victims, succumb to the drug and beg him.

A twisted smile crossed his lips and leaned towards her lips. Feeling her hands grasp his hair, his eyes lit up, mistaking her intent.

Eva’s next move was so fast catching him off-guard. Eva absorbed energy in the air, giving her enough strength to slam the man’s skull into the cave wall.

She flipped him over, slamming his head into the wall repeatedly. Blood splattered onto her, but she didn’t stop until he went limp.

She collapsed on the bed, the drug taking full control of her. as she panted, tugging at her clothes. Her body burned up.

The man’s head was embedded into the wall; blood slid down from his corpse, creeping slowly on the bed.

After a minute, Julian and Ethan bust in through the door, stumbling upon the gory scene. They didn’t bother about the dead man, their eyes went straight to the moaning Eva.

Julian appeared instantly before the bed, Ethan transforming back to his human form, in mid-run.

’’She’s drugged.’’ Julian’s voice trembled with anger, he looked at the dead man from the corner of his eyes and wanted so badly to rewind time and kill him himself.

He carried Eva, alarmed by her burning body. Ethan searched for clues about the drug she’d been given.

His expression turned frosty as he sighted the four syringes beside the bed, he picked one up and sniffed.

’’F*ck!’’ Ethan cursed which was very rare. His heart tightened with fear and worry. ’’She’s burning up!’’ Ethan reacted fast; frosty air left his hands, enveloping her body in coldness.

’’Mm...’’

Eva sighed comfortably, but it didn’t last three minutes, her temperature spiked up again.

Ethan turned to Julian. ’’Can you pause the pain while keeping her clearheaded?’’ Ethan’s tone was resigned. ’there’s no other way.’ he thought.

’’I can pause it long enough for us to go to a hospital.’’ Julian’s heart relaxed a bit, feeling the idea was feasible.

’’Julian there’s no cure. She was shot with four doses of aphrodisiac.’’ He paused before dropping the bomb on Julian.

’’Nectar.’’

’’F*ck!’’ This word left Julian’s lips, and his heart chilled at the thought. This drug was infamous- you either gave in, or it killed you slowly and painfully.

And she was shot with four at once.

He swallowed, watching her flushed face and trembling hands tug at her clothes.

’’I will keep her temperature down. Let’s pay for a room.’’ Ethan said as he carried Eva gently from Julian’s hands. They both felt like bringing the man back to life and torturing him to death.

’if they had only woken up earlier, none of this would have happened?’ their heart was gripped with guilt when they heard her painful moans. Hurrying down the stairs, they found the nearest hotel.

In their room, Ethan filled the bathtub, freezing the water until chunks of ice floated before gently placing her in.

Julian came closer to her, and a black mist flashed through his hands, enveloping Eva; it changed into time figures, each a complete set of 12, half on her right side and left.

His right finger controlled the right side to stock moving, and Eva’s expression began to ease, her eyes fluttered before they opened.

Julian kept one side moving to ensure she didn’t pause completely, allowing her to respond. He could only keep this up for ten minutes.

Eva’s eyes darted around, and seeing the familiar faces, she relaxed. She couldn’t feel her body and tried to sit up but she couldn’t move her body, she tried again. ’’I’m I paralyzed? Woo hoo.’’

Seeing her familiar overdramatic expression the tense air dropped a smile crossed their lips.

"Yes, w-we tried to save the legs. But it was impossible." Julian’s tone was serious and filled with suppressed pain.

Seeing tears wanting to fall for real this time, Ethan flicked an ice stone on Julian’s head.

"Don’t believe him. Your legs are perfectly fine." Ethan’s expression turned serious at what he was going to say next.

Julian’s expression changed as well, almost making Eva overthink, that she had an incurable problem.

"We have to sleep with you." Ethan’s ear flushed as he said those words.

"Huh?" Eva blinked, confused by his words.

"Sex." Julian’s words made her eyes widen, ’damn is she dreaming? Nah this got to be a dream. Maybe I am still in the dungeon hallucinating.’

"We are being serious; if we don’t, you will die!" Ethan’s tone was raised a bit when he saw her daze-drifting expression.

Julian saw five minutes had already passed and couldn’t help but kiss her firmly on the lips.

Her eyes went wide, releasing her lips, he looked into her eyes. "We’re being serious."

Her eyes darted between Ethan and Julian. Seeing their serious expressions, she swallowed dryly.

"Alright. But...’’ her voice drifted, and she eyed them with a serious expression. "I don’t know what you mean, I will die. Does it have anything to do with that creep?" Seeing them nodding, their eyes filled with fury at the mention of the man.

"Is he dead?" Seeing their nod, her heart lightened at that thought.

Then a blush raised on her face at the thought of what they would be doing next. "Cough....Once we do this, there’s no going back. You are mine. I don’t share." Her tone was firm as she stared at their expression to find any form of struggle at her words.

"Did you think you would be free from us after this?" Ethan’s tone was dangerously low, and Julian’s gaze was void of any joke as they stared at her.

Eva wanted to shrink into the water and hide but she couldn’t move her body. She could only bear their intense gaze.

They hadn’t reached the point of love but the thought of another man touching her body made them erupt. They could barely share between themselves, talkless of another person.

If they had the power to bring the dead back, they would have brought that man to life and tortured him slowly and painfully to death.

Eva felt the familiar sensation erupt within her, like millions of ants crawling under her skin.

"Hhh..."

Julian picked her up carefully from the water when he felt the time run out.
