Chapter 335: Chapter 335: Nicholas is coming, business is at the door

Huo Yirong’s tone intensified, revealing an aura of dominance deep within him.

Fear sprouted within Josh as he pursed his lips and subtly nodded, "I understand, Cousin."

The period since his arrival at the Capital City from Yi Country had been a significant blow to him.

His two cousins kept hints at his foolishness.

Josh felt aggrieved. Back in Yi Country, he had no need to consider such things because everyone usually indulged him.

In Capital City, if someone didn’t yield to him, he could assert dominance with his fists.

This method of resolving problems was quite common in Yi Country.

However, his cousins repeatedly advised him against it.

Could it be that when one was bullied, they were expected to swallow their indignation? Wasn’t that an act of cowardice?

Josh looked at Qin siblings on the beach, wondering if he should also consider whether or not they were having fun when playing with friends.

This was completely beyond his understanding.

Such considerations had never been a part of his world.

It had completely subverted his understanding.

Having played to their heart’s content, Qin Ruan and Qin Mei walked back, supporting each other.

On seeing the two siblings return, Huo Yirong’s eyes curved into a smile, "Had enough fun?"

Qin Ruan nodded, scanned the surroundings and asked, "Where’s Grandpa?"

Huo Yirong glanced at Josh beside him and replied with a smile, "My brother didn’t like the excessive sunlight. He has already boarded the yacht."

Qin Ruan cast a glance towards Josh, who was reflecting, and furrowed her eyebrows, "Let’s go then."

She had been so engrossed in her play that she had forgotten her grandfather and Josh shouldn’t stay together.

Josh was born under eight negative life symbols, meaning he had a purely Yin constitution.

Such a disposition could have certain effects on their grandfather.

Huo Yirong led them to where the yacht was docked.

Onboard the Ati Zue.

Huo Yunjiao stood, hand on the rail of the yacht, her deep and mysterious eyes staring at the shimmering sea surface.

Huo Chuan stood behind her, speaking in a respectful tone, "Master, we just received news. Young Master Nicholas is aware of our itinerary and is on his way here."

The Master’s expression remained unchanged upon hearing the news. He wasn’t surprised that Nicholas knew about their itinerary, but was somewhat stunned by his impending arrival.

"When will he arrive approximately?"

Huo Chuan: "He just left, he will be here in about an hour."

His fingers danced on the rail as his eyes hinted deep thought. "Any news from the US?"

Huo Chuan: "Not yet."

As Huo Yirong brought Qin Ruan and the others over, everything fell under the Master’s gaze. He turned to Huo Chuan and said, "Let’s wait and see."

Seeing Qin Ruan board the yacht, the Master started to move.

Huo Yirong noticed him standing in the sea breeze with a slight frown on his face, "Brother, it’s windy outside. Why don’t you go inside?"

Qin Ruan quickly joined them, holding his hand. She could feel the coldness of his fingertips.

Raising her eyes, she looked at his face, which had taken on a pale tone. Her expression too wasn’t very good.

"Are you okay?"

The Master gently squeezed her tiny hand and chuckled, "I’m not that fragile. I’m much better than before."

That wasn’t a comfort, but a fact.

In the past, the sea breeze would have been unbearable for him.

Perhaps it was because Qin Ruan had been helping him regulate his constitution, his health had significantly improved.

Qin Ruan channeled her Nether Power through her hand into the Master’s body. Confirming there were no issues, she breathed a sigh of relief.

She truly hoped he would get better and didn’t want to cause him any health problems because of this inspection.

The Master saw the worry on Qin Ruan’s face. With gentle eyes, he asked her, "Would you like to try fishing in the nearby sea?"

Qin Ruan asked, "Will you be joining too?"

The Master nodded, "Of course! We rarely get such an opportunity."

"Let’s go then."

Once Qin Ruan was sure he was okay, she really wanted to experience different things.

The Master turned around and told Huo Chuan, "Ask the driver to set sail"

"Yes, Master."

Huo Chuan turned around and left, heading towards the yacht cabin.

The Master let go of Qin Ruan’s hand, patting her shoulder, "We’ll probably spend the night on the yacht. Go and take a look around the cabin. If there’s anything you’re not satisfied with, arrange for it to be fixed as soon as possible."

She nodded and left with Qin Mei under Huo Zhi’s lead.

Upon seeing her leave with the Master, Huo Yirong said to Josh beside him, "You go take a look as well."

"Okay!"

Josh would do anything to get away from the two ’monsters’, and quickly chased after the departing trio.

After they left, Huo Yirong walked over to the Master.

"What is it?"

The gentleness on the Master’s face faded, and he said in an indifferent tone, "Nicholas is coming."

Huo Yirong appeared briefly surprised but quickly regained his composure.

He leaned against the yacht rail, with a languid posture, "Where is he now?"

"Just got the news. He just left, so he should be here in less than an hour."

"Is this guy sick? We have had good discussions with him, and he still wants more. Does he know we’ve left Capital City and is in a hurry?"

The Master relaxed on the rails, loosening up his neck.

He said in a nonchalant tone, "He must have encountered some real trouble."

"I wonder what kind of trouble that could be."

Huo Yirong was simply curious.

The Master lowered his eyes and said with a serious tone, "Eight or nine out of ten, it’s related to Leslie."

Huo Yirong nodded in agreement, "Indeed, it seems the trouble lies with this woman."

Then he added, "The Bolin Family has been flaunting itself in the US these past few years. Recently, the Bolin Family exposed a royal family member who loves to party and has an unruly private life, causing the royal family to lose face. The public now has a negative perception of the royal family which has added tension between the Bolin Family and the royal family."

Huo Yunjiao was aware of this and nodded lightly, "The Bolin Family’s prestige in the US now supersedes the royal family."

Huo Yirong looked somewhat astounded, and guessed, "They’re not planning to overthrow the royal family, are they?"

A dark smile appeared on the Master’s face, void of any warmth, "If that’s the case, the Bolin Family will reach its peak and then fall. The royal family of the US is an ancient family. They are not that easy to overthrow."

Huo Yirong commented, "The Bolin Family might have been too comfortable with their extravagant lifestyle."

The laughter of Qin Mei and Josh above them drew the brothers’ gazes.

On the third-floor outdoor platform, the two naughty kids were swinging golf clubs.

"Hey! Watch this move!" Qin Mei waved his club at Josh.

Josh didn’t back down either, charging forward to attack, "Take this!"

The golf club spun in Josh’s hand creating a spectacle.

The Master watched Josh with a gloomy look, frowning slightly, "How has Josh been these past few days?"

Huo Yirong snorted, "He’s still mischievous. This kid needs to be disciplined."

The Master’s eyes deepened, and the originally indifferent face looked even colder, "Grandfather’s intention is to temporarily keep him in the country. The Doyle Family is facing turbulence."

A look of worry flashed through Huo Yirong’s eyes, "Is Auntie alright?"

He wasn’t sure of what was going on. The Doyle Family was a local force in Yi Country and was famous worldwide. There were always small disturbances in the family every year.
