"Everyone else is gone. It’s just us five left." Catherine took a seat next to the campfire and casually placed a water bottle on the fire to heat it up. "Pannis, go ahead. Explain what you talked about the seven-day issue."

"Eh?" Pannis turned his head in confusion, revealing his mouth stuffed to its brim. In his hands, he held half a leg of a deer that he was tearing apart. "What now... chew, chew... what now... chew, chew... what did you say?"

"Dumbass Pannis, why are you eating again?" Before Catherine could react, Lina grabbed a backpack and tossed it at Pannis. "Be serious for once."

"I’m hungry! Staying awake all night takes a lot of energy." Pannis made an innocent face, sneakily took another big bite of the deer leg, and responded while chewing, "Besides, I’ve been serious for so many days. Now I can finally relax a bit."

"Could you eat later?" Catherine gave Pannis a white-eyed look. "Start speaking. You said yesterday that we still have seven days until we can leave. How did you figure that out?"

"Oh, that." Pannis reluctantly put down the leg of the deer. He stretched out his greasy hand, measured it on his clothes, clandestinely measured it on Lina’s clothes, and finally accepted a rag that Lina threw at him and wiped his hands. "I calculated it."

"Hello?". Catherine waited silently for a while. When she saw Pannis had no intention of continuing, she shouted, "You gonna keep going? We’re all waiting."

"Oh, right." After Pannis finally cleaned his hands, he took out the treasure map from his pocket, spread it out on the ground, and pointed to another map on the side. "Look at this map here, this is how I calculated it."

The three girls grouped around the map, three heads close together, carefully examining the diagram they had seen so many times. The paper depicted a deep cave with three moons appearing simultaneously in the mouth of the cave. One full moon was shining directly onto a small puddle in the center of the cave.

"I get it." Catherine said, nodding as though she had anrealisation. "You mean... this moon, Lady Azure, Luscia."

"Yes, the Azure Moon." Pannis tapped lightly on the map with his fingertip. "This is the Silver White Moon Mia, this is the Crimson Moon Lilith, and the remaining one is the Azure Moon Luscia. The time in the picture coincides with the day the Azure Moon is full. You can also confirm this by looking at the phases of the other two moons. Calculating accordingly, the time when Lady Azure is full this month is precisely seven days from now. And that’s why I was able to get an exact time."

"The Magical Tide Night." Vivian sat cross-legged on the ground, holding her chin in a daze as she spoke. "I guess, the way to enter the treasure has something to do with magic. Otherwise, there is no need to specifically mention this day."

"Yeah, I think so too," Lina agreed, nodding. "After all, it’s the Azure Night, that must be it."

The Azure Night refers specifically to the midnight of the day when the Blue Moon, Luscia, is full. The Crimson Night represents the midnight of the day when the Crimson Moon, Lilith is full and brings overflowing energy of death, also known as the Wicked Night; The Silver White Night represents the night when the SilverMoon, Mia is full, bringing huge life energy, also known as the Spirit Night; while the Azure Night brings a surge of magical energy fluctuations, also known as the Magical Tide Night.

On that midnight, the Yarran Continent, from west to east, gradually enters the Azure Night. The magic energy contained between heaven and earth naturally intensifies and erupts. On such nights, mages can easily mobilize mana far beyond their own capacity, and all kinds of Arrays also behave surprisingly. Therefore, this day of each month is the day that all mages look forward to the most, as for other professions, no one wants to fight with an excessively excited mage on such a night, even if they are usually weaker.

"Alright, it looks like we really do have to wait seven days." Catherine sighed. "It feels like more variables are being added with each passing day."

"Enjoy it as a vacation." Lina didn’t seem to care and clapped Catherine’s back. "A seven-day holiday, sis."

"We’re here to treasure hunt." Catherine looked at Lina helplessly. "We’re not on a picnic. Don’t mistake that."

"I’ve always wanted to have a picnic in the wild. This place is simply ideal for it." Lina spread her arms wide, embracing the dense forest in the distance. "Sticking to the monotony of city life where the air is polluted and hearts are unpredictable, my spirit has already been contaminated by my surroundings. I need to return to nature, to cleanse my soul with pure air."

With identical postures, Catherine and Vivian with their chins in their hands, stared helplessly at Lina’s drama. "You have a script for this, don’t you? I’m not sure which book you got it from, though."

"Eh?" Lina exclaimed surprisingly. "Sis, you actually noticed?"

"It’s too obvious." Vivian spoke loudly, "This place is suitable for a picnic? And besides, it’s extremely dangerous here. The only thing that’s washing away is your life, definitely not your soul. What’s more, as adventurers like us, we spend several times more of the year in the wilderness compared to at home. Talking about maintaining prolonged city life, it’s clearly a copied script. You are such a dummy."

"You’re the dummy." Lina slapped Vivian’s soft hat hard. "When it’s time for you to be dumb, be dumb. Don’t just pop out and call others a dummy."

"That’s thinking, not being dumb." Vivian jumped up, reaching for Lina’s waist. "How many times do I have to tell you, dummy, that it’s thinking? It’s the workings of wisdom, the gestation of knowledge, and definitely not being dumb."

"Sigh." Catherine sighed weakly, searching around with her hand on her forehead, "Pannis, where’s Elrad?"

"After sending off Dora and the others, he went back to sleep straightaway." Pannis replied, "What’s wrong, you need him for something?"

"It’s nothing, just... it figures." Catherine said, "Lina never acts so crazy in front of outsiders. I was wondering why she was behaving like this, turns out it’s because Elrad is not around, that explains it. For the past month, there have always been outsiders, and this timid girl has had to wear her mask at all times. I guess she must be feeling oppressed."

"Actually, it’s not a bad thing to be herself, it’s tiring to always keep up a serious demeanor." Pannis said with a easy smile, "I wouldn’t really call this her being timid."

"She’s simply shy, without her mask, she has no idea how to talk to others." Catherine, with a mature and meaningful smile on her face, looked at Pannis with a teasing look, "Besides, isn’t it timid to not dare to show your true self to others?"

"I surrender, I surrender," Pannis raised his hand with a wry smile, "I admit my mistake; let’s change the topic."

Catherine chuckled strangely a few times, giving Pannis a hard look out of the corner of her eye. She briefly let him off the hook and marched over to the two giggling girls, slapping each one on the back of the head: "You two idiots need to rein it in. We’re discussing important matters. You can have fun once we’re done discussing."

"Oh." The two girls held their heads where they had been hit, reluctantly sitting back down, with pitiful, mole-like eyes secretly staring at Catherine, silently protesting the captain’s harsh treatment.

"Enough!" Catherine massaged her temple in pain, recalling the discussion they were having: "Even though we know the time, we are still uncertain about the location..."

"Basically, we can confirm that it is here." Pannis gestured towards the pit next to him, "but, it is not clear which one among the seven pits it is."

"Are we uncertain?" Catherine frowned as she examined the drawings before her, "Can’t we just find the pit with the puddle? Or are there many pits with puddles?"

"Quite the opposite," Pannis shrugged, "None of them have puddles. I confirmed this with Elrad in the evening."

"None at all?" Lina gasped, clutching her head, "But that’s exactly what the map shows."

"Firstly, I have to remind you," Pannis held up one finger, "This is a six or seven hundred-year-old map, and puddles can dry up."

"Huh, you’re such a dummy." Vivian ridiculed before saying, "If there’s a ’firstly’, there must be a ’secondly’. Secondly, could it be that this kind of treasure map doesn’t really indicate the location accurately, rather, it contains metaphors?"

"Yes, that’s highly likely," Pannis nodded, "So, at the moment, we can’t determine exactly which one of the seven it is."

"I think, it must be related to water somehow," Catherine mused, "Is there water underneath?"

"There’s water in two of the pits," Pannis answered, "There’s an underground river exposed in those two pits. As for the other five, their surroundings are completely dry. Of course, there must be an underground river beneath them too, or else a marsh or a swamp would have formed. Moreover, such deep pits are formed due to the presence of underground rivers."

"Then we can only explore them one by one tomorrow," Catherine said helplessly, "I hope we find something."

"I hope so." Pannis, lost in thought, stared at the map, "Maybe, we’ll soon have a simpler method to confirm it."

"Regardless," Catherine grabbed the map and folded it, "It’s time to sleep now. We’ve been up all night. Go to sleep right now. If you want to study it, do so after we get up."

"I’ll stay on guard, I can’t sleep anyway." Vivian’s smile held a hint of bitterness, as she pointed to her head, "The pain here is reminding me. Even if it weren’t, I know I’m near my limit. I need rest."

Catherine tenderly patted Vivian’s head, "Then, you stay on guard, if you feel better, wake me up. You don’t have to participate in tomorrow’s exploration. It’s too tiring to go up and down, Lina will stay and take care of you. Pannis and I will be enough. You can sleep for the whole day."

"Thank you, big sis," Vivian waved with a playful smile, "You all hurry and go to sleep. Good night."
