World After Worlds
Chapter 367 - 367: § VERY WELL §

Tiana kept on screaming to Azkin that she should just bash Francis' and Mia's skulls open. To confront them, or maybe just slap Francis and make Mia go bald for playing with her heart.

Nevertheless, Azkin didn't move. She chose to cry in the dark, listening to the conversation of the bastard and the bitch. All she did was hold sobs, she didn't want to make a noise at all. As Azkin's heart was shattering to pieces, Tiana could feel the same intensity of the heartbreak that Azkin was undertaking.

Tiana was aggravated, why was Azkin the one who was being pitiful when she was the one who did nothing wrong?

"You should be quiet, she's still inside," Francis said to Mia, Mia scowled at him.

"Why? Did you fall for her beauty?! I told you to seduce her not to get seduced!" Francis laughed.

"Mia, you know who is the one who has my heart. That ... creature was nothing to me, she's not even human." The couple silenced.

Tiana was dying to ask, why… why Azkin was such a masochist. Why did she love getting hurt by this insignificant human couple? She knew that Francis didn't love her. She knew that she was being used by the mortals yet she preferred to turn blind eyes and deaf ears just to be with Francis.

She was too in love, and she was a fool in love. Why can't she leave and move on? Why did she stay? Was he worthy? He wasn't! Her efforts were all in vain. Her love was futile. Francis didn't care about her at all.

Everything was so infuriating yet all Tiana could do was be with the pain as Azkin did.

When the conversation stopped, Azkin peeked to see them. They were standing not far from each other and Mia was frowning at Francis.

"You copulated with her last night, how could you say you didn't feel anything at all. I saw the light go out just this dawn and your voice was loud enough for me to hear it here! You kept her up all night! I know you had fun with her!" Mia screamed but Francis held her body tightly, he kissed her again, a lot more sensual this time. He was touching her body.

Tiana could not afford to watch it, she felt breathless, the pain was too much. It was too much! It hurts a lot! She could hear Azkin's anguished, her thoughts that were screaming of questions.

How could he kiss Mia lovingly when he kissed her last night with those lips as well?

He treated her with gentleness, he was rough and so beastly. Azkin was certain that Francis was making love with her. And with Mia… why! Why! Because she's not human?!

She can be human for him! She's prettier than Mia, she's smarter and much more powerful! She's everything Mia wasn't! What's wrong with her? Why can't Francis love her?!

Tiana's grasp her chest, her heart, it's being gripped, it was so difficult to breathe. The anger, the sadness, the self-incrimination, the anxiety, and her love for him that she could not let go… it was all mixed up. It was too overwhelming.

"I've got something to tell you," Francis smiled and caressed Tiana's cheeks, "She told me that if we drank her blood, we could be Gods too." Tiana was stunned, Azkin was frozen.

'No, he shouldn't have told that to Mia.' Azkin almost jumped out of the dark to prevent Francis from saying any further information. But her feet were cemented to the ground…

"She told you that? Maybe she's bluffing because we are leaving her. She doesn't want you to leave her side." Mia calmed down and didn't believe Francis. Francis shook her head and smiled at Mia.

"She made me drink her blood Mia, and I feel powerful. Watch." He took the dagger on his hemlines and with no hesitation, he cut his skin, blood flowed from it but in a blink of an eye, it healed. "See? I'm immortal!" Mia's eyes couldn't believe it and asked Francis to do it again, so he did.

"If you drink her blood you will become immortal?!" Mia exclaimed in excitement.

Francis shook his head again, "It will only last for three months, you have to drink her blood again after that."

"How?! How much blood did she give you? I mean---"

"It's just a drop."

"A drop?! And three months of immortality?!" Mia rejoiced, "What if we drank a cup of it?!"

"I didn't ask her,"

"You're so stupid, Francis." Azkin clenched her fist and looked at her feet.

She couldn't believe these people.

She told him her secret, although she should be expecting this betrayal. She still could not believe that Francis told Mia. He promised her last night… he swore to his life that it was their very secret.

Tiana couldn't believe her ears. Despite the fact that she heard this tale millions of times, she still couldn't believe this was happening through her eyes. Was this the last where they would kill Azkin and eat her? How dare they!

'No, no!' Azkin, Azkin had to run away from these people! They would kill her! They would eat her!

'Azkin, listen to me! You are not safe! They will harm you! And devoured everything of you! Run! Runaway from them!' Tiana tried her best to shout at Azkin. She kept on struggling and tried to take control of Azkin's body but she couldn't do anything at all. All she could do was aggrieved as Azkin did.

Tiana felt another excruciating pain peering at her chest. It was as painful as the feeling whenever Francis would say or do something so heartbreaking, but it was the worst, it's like her heart was dying.

And 'it' was failing, Tiana discovered that Azkin's human body was at its limit. Because her heart was being tortured every time by these people, it started to malfunction.

'What… What does that mean? Azkin is dying? Azkin! You can't die! You will vanish! Azkin, run! Go back to heaven! Don't stay for Francis! He's not worthy at all!'

"AZKIN!" Tiana hastily sits up from lying on the ground.

She was panting and clenching her clothes in her chest area, her eyes were still streaming tears. Tiana looked around and saw that she was still on her turf, her chest felt so tight she could hardly breathe.

As much as Tiana wanted to disperse the suffering and misery she was feeling, she could do nothing about it. There was no magic to get away from being emotionally hurt after all.

She didn't have the strength to stand up, she was not in her proper state of mind. She coughed a few times and suddenly she wailed as she remembered what awaits in Azkin's fate. She cried so loud and hugged her knees,

"Azkin…"

Tiana knew Azkin 'was' her. But if she could, she would save herself from before.

"Should I wash the dishes?" Yanarym asked after she had the final bite of her meal.

She drank her cup of water and saw Kraig sleeping on her hand. She paused for a moment and shifted her eyes to her plates and -- to 'him'. After contemplating for seconds she shrugged her shoulders and raised her feet off the ground, putting them on the chair, and resting her chin on her knees.

She looked at Kraig and studied his features in a lull. He was the complete opposite of Lyndon's intense appearance. They seemed to be the same but they are different.

If Lyndon was like red fire, Kraig was like a blue flame. His hair color was a soft color of blue, like baby blue, it soothing in the eyes. His expression was always radiant as he was always smiling. If he had a serious face, it feels like a male-lead aura.

'Does that make sense?' Yanarym laughed to herself. Although they had different sets of hair they had the same color of eyes but had different shades, Lyndon had the dark shade and Kraig had the soft one. Every time she peered at those eyes, it seemed like an emerald stone, so beautiful. It was pretty, and coincidentally, she liked the color green very much.

That was why she is entranced each time she peers at them, she doesn't even have to fake that she loves making eye contact, because she really does adore watching their eyes. Especially each time that their pupils would dilate, it was cute.

She extended her free hand and gently pressed the index knuckle to his nose. When she was not satisfied, she began to brush her fingers to that pointy nose and skimmed it to his curvy-luscious lips that were always irresistible.

Yanarym smiled widely, "Sorry that I made you cry." She mumbled to her breath. "But I vowed to make you miserable, I can't break a promise." She trailed to his soft hair and gently brushed it with her fingers. "You will be crying a lot while I'm here, please brace yourself."

Guide-sama: "I don't understand you at all. You are such a psychopath. How could you smile while saying that?"

"I'm not a psychopath."

Guide-sama: "I guess you are, you fit the description very well."

"I'm not,"

Guide-sama: "... I stand my ground."

"Shut up."
