Chapter 358 - 358: § NOT NOW §

Kraig had no idea why Yanarym was always drowsy but he was already used to her sleepy demeanor. It was him who was making sure she'd get in a class on time and not get in trouble because she would be caught sleeping in class.

He took care of her notes and was willing to teach her the lesson she missed whenever she was sober. Although he didn't need to tutor her at all. She would still ace her examination. It was a good thing that there was one subject where she would not sleep though. The potion class.

"Love, wake up." He whispered to her ears as he put her in her seat.

"I'm awake." She yawned again and opened her eyes, she met his tender gaze and giggled. "Why?"

"Why, what?" He asked, raising his brows with a smile on his face. Her laugh was so infectious that whenever he sees or hears her smiling or laughing it would make him delighted.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" She clarifies and blinks her eyes sleepily, "Is there something on my face?"

"No, there's nothing else but gorgeousness, how do I even stare at you?"

"Like you were gazing at something that doesn't exist, too amused at my peerless beauty, hmm?" She boasted and yawned with a grin as she closed her eyes. Kraig smiled wider and caressed her face, trailing his thumb at her closed eyes. Brushing her eyelashes, it tickles the tip of his finger.

"You could say that." He murmured through his breath.

"Can I sleep more? I'm still sleepy..." Her mellow husky whisper was heard by Lyndon.

He was hardly keeping himself contained, clenching his fist, his nails dug to his skin. His eyes were sharply gazing straight to the front, glaring with dreadful blazing eyes. He was grinning to feign the darkness of his thoughts. He could only hear them, yet he was already vexed to his core. He wondered what he would do if he would 'see' them being intimate.

"Aren't you going to talk to me? Really?" Tiana huffed, she had been sitting beside Lyndon from the time she went into the classroom. She was hoping that he would coax her because of their fight yesterday yet he remained unspoken and cold the whole time.

It's like she wasn't there at all, the worst was he seems the one who is madder than her like she is the one who needs to lie down and be a forgiving person.

"Lyndon, do you want this to keep on going? Are you really okay with us breaking up?!"

"Not now, Tiana." He uttered in a silent but deadly tone. "Not now, I'm not in the mood."

This doesn't scare her a bit, instead, she bit the flesh of her mouth and breathes deeply.

"You're always not in your mood."

Calming her nerves so as not to create a scene. She keeps on thinking what did she do so wrong to get him this angry, and she couldn't think of any answer. He just got grumpy and grumpier as days passed by during the semester break. And she has no idea why or what his reasons are!

"Tell me, when can we talk? I don't want to be in a fight with you. If you hate me for something, tell me. So, I can do something to make it up to you."

"Alright, you can sleep, I love you, Rym," Kraig's tender voice detracted from Tiana's statement in Lyndon's ears.

"You've been ignoring me for days, I don't like this charade of the cold war. Come on, let's fix this."

"I love you more, Yam." A soft loving voice replied to Kraig, who was Yanarym.

Lyndon heard it, he promptly turned his head in her direction with unexplained darkness in his eyes. Just then, he saw her pecking Kraig's lips with a blithe smile on her countenance.

Just like that, something inside him snapped, that was his toleration. His jaw clenched but tried his hardest to maintain his rationality. His eyes staggered because of anger that was surging all over him.

How dare she…

She called that man his endearment?… 'His' endearment! Fuck forbearance! Yanarym, you, are you that desperate to die?!

Lyndon shifted his eyes to Tiana, anger rose from his heart. Retaining this emotion would be impossible for him.

"I SAID NOT NOW TIANA! Are you deaf?! Did you not hear me?! Or you're blind? I am not in the mood to talk to you! Can't you fucking leave me alone?! Can't you?!"

The silent room went to negative degrees of celsius. They were startled by Lyndon's unexpected outburst---especially Tiana, she was too stunned---gawking at him with unbelievable expression. His scream pierced her skin, spreading the horror to her bones, and her eyes felt heated and moist. She has never seen him this mad, no, scratch that, he never got this mad at her.

After some time of stillness, Lyndon composed himself. Nevertheless, the destructive expression remained plastered on his face.

Tiana thought that he would be apologetic but there was no remorse in his eyes, only coldness into the depths of it.

"Should I change my seat or you will?" His dead tone crept into her heart, she held her tears but they still fell from her eyes.

"I just want to t-talk...to you…" she stuttered, wiping each drop of tears on her cheeks. "Why d-do you have to shout? Why are y-you so angry?" Her sobbing and hiccups didn't affect him.

"Aren't you leaving?" Perceiving his apathetic stares, she grits her teeth.

"Y-you're such a horrible person! I hate you! HOW COULD YOU TREAT ME THIS WAY?!" She screamed at his face and ran away.

Leaving the classroom dead silent, because of the commotion, Yanarym wasn't able to fall asleep. Just like everyone else she was watching the play, cast by Lyndon and Tiana themselves. She smiled in her head but confusion and fear could be seen in her eyes. That emotion was what Lyndon saw when he redirected his attention in her direction.

'You are not doing this to him, Rym,' Lyndon scoffed angrily with this thought. 'You are scared? You dare…! This was all your fault! And now you are staring at him as if you would run away!' He was so furious that he wanted to grab her out of this room and lock her somewhere she could never escape.

However, the longer they stare at each other, the more hollowness grows within Lyndon. The madness that enveloped him was vanquished by the anxiousness of the idea that she would really run away.

He hates those eyes, how could those eyes of hers make him feel a lot of emotions he doesn't even know existed?

Lyndon looked away as soon as the uneasiness permeated his heart. It was getting hard for him to carry the weight of her stares.

But why is he the one who was getting worried? She was the one who did not contact him for weeks. She was the one who used his endearment to flirt with Kraig! That was his! She is his! Why is he the one who was guilty of being mad?! He had every right to get furious! She was the one who got him this demented!

You haven't even received your punishment yet, you can't be making him anxious over those eyes.

Why is he even afraid of what she would think of him?! Lyndon clenched his fist and kicked the chair and table leaving it disintegrated.

"Fuck it, what are you looking at?!" He yelled at the crowd which caused them to look away, he shifted his head to her and Kraig pulled her to his back as if protecting her from danger.

He laughed, she surely was making him insane. "FUCK!" Screaming, he walked out of the room.

"Are you alright? You're shaking." Kraig clasped her hand as she quivers. "Don't worry, he couldn't hurt you, I'm here." She didn't reply and let Kraig embrace her, securing her in his arms. "Don't be scared." He muttered to her and pressed his lips to her temple.

Kraig thought he might hallucinate for a second. How could he ever think that Lyndon was mad and longing for Yanarym at the same time? And why did he see Yanarym reciprocating Lyndon's gaze with an apologetic expression?

They had not talked to each other, they were good as strangers. How come they peered at one another like they've been talking for some time?

More than that, there was affection… he knew those eyes of Lyndon, he had that kind of gaze to Yanarym… but maybe, it was an illusion, right, just hallucination.

Tiana is Lyndon's girlfriend and Yanarym is his girlfriend and no one else. How could he think of something so absurd? There was no way that Yanarym was Lyndon's… no, that's ridiculous.

"Love,"

"Hmm?"

"Why- why do you think Lyndon was staring at you?" Kraig gulped, he must be crazy.
