An Nan shook her head, and Zhan Qiyi didn’t ask any more questions.

After dinner, the two of them parted ways in the restaurant’s parking lot, each driving off in their own car.

When An Nan got home, she quickly took a bath and went to bed to catch up on sleep. Just as she lay down, she heard the doorbell ring from the door. Angry, she got up. Who could it be so late? Disturbing others’ sleep.

With a slightly irritated mood, An Nan lifted the covers and went to open the door without even putting on her shoes.

As soon as she opened the door, she felt a rush of warmth coming towards her. Instinctively, An Nan spread her arms wide, and a tall figure immediately lunged at her, almost making her unable to stand steady.

"What are you doing?" An Nan’s voice contained rare panic.

Any woman would feel flustered when embraced by a stranger man late at night.

Just as An Nan was about to push away the person she was holding, she heard a familiar voice: "Nannan, it’s me."

The soft whisper, the deep voice of a man, An Nan immediately recognized it was the little man she had met just an hour ago. However, she didn’t understand what was happening now. Very quickly, An Nan smelled the strong scent of alcohol and immediately realized that this person was probably drunk.

What to do if the person won’t wake up? The first solution An Nan thought of was to call Xi Shaoqi and have him come take the person away, but then she realized she would have to explain why the man was there, and she’d likely have to waste her breath explaining, meaning she’d lose sleep tonight.

After considering it thoroughly, An Nan decided to lend her sofa for the night. To prevent him from catching a cold in the middle of the night, she went into her room to get a thin blanket and covered the person on the sofa, turned off the lights, and went back to her room to continue catching up on sleep.

In her dreams, An Nan felt lucky that the man on the living room sofa had good alcohol tolerance, not causing a scene when drunk, but just sleeping quietly.

When she woke up, it was already noon. An Nan had completely forgotten about the person in the living room. Following her usual habit, she lifted the covers, walked barefoot into the bathroom, took a shower, and then, wearing a pink bathrobe, walked out of her room, intending to check the kitchen for something to eat.

Just as she walked into the kitchen, her body froze, her face’s cheerful expression stiffened. What was going on?
