"This..." Jin Jiuchi pointed at a certain panel. "What is this?"

Following his line of sight, Gu Luoxin saw that he was indicating at a panel where the gong and shou were caught in a passionate kiss. "Of course, it’s a kiss scene. Goodness, why have I never thought of this before?! How stupid!" He slapped his own forehead in admonishment.

Suspecting it was one thing, but hearing the confirmation itself was another thing altogether. Gu Luoxin was utterly dumbstruck as the severity of the situation finally dawned on him. It took him a second to register that it was his own ringtone. Grateful for the interruption, he quickly retrieved his phone and sent a silent gratitude to the unexpected caller. Whoever you are, you will be my good bro/sis from now on!

"Look, who could be calling me so early—"

His gaze settled on the phone screen, and the rest of his words abruptly got stuck in his throat when he saw the caller’s name— ’Boss’
