He hung up three times in a row, and each time Sheng Jianan was about to put the phone down, it lit up again, and the caller was the same person each time.

When the screen lit up for the fourth time, Sheng Jianan’s brows furrowed into a line. With a flick of his finger, he answered, wanting to lose his temper. Who calls so frequently at night? So frequently that he didn’t even have time to turn off the phone.

But the moment the call connected, before he could say anything, the person on the other end had already started speaking: "Tangtang... help... Tangtang, my period started, it hurts so much, Tangtang..."

The person was almost crying as they spoke, their voice weak yet somewhat familiar. Sheng Jianan, with his excellent memory, quickly recognized it seemed to be the person who was with Tang Yanqi today. Was she a roommate?

On the other end of the call, Qi Cheng was almost weakly leaning against the stall door in the restroom.

Qi thought she could barely manage to get back, but in reality, she overestimated herself. Pale-faced and nearly fainting from the pain, she used her remaining consciousness to call Tang Yanqi, but the person kept hanging up on her.

Qi Cheng nearly cried, but thankfully, they finally picked up.

"Uhh... Tangtang, help, help..."

Sheng Jianan listened to the crying on the phone, about to say, "I am not Tang Yanqi," when he heard a "thump" and then the phone was abruptly hung up.

Grabbing some clothes to throw on, Tang Yanqi headed to the bathroom. The dormitory lights were out, but thankfully, the corridor and bathroom lights were on.

"Chengzi?"

She called out softly, but no one answered. At this hour, all the restroom stalls were open except for one that was closed. Tang Yanqi knocked, and when there was no response, her sharp intuition sensed something was wrong. She quickly opened it to find Qi Cheng inside, face pale, covered in sweat.

Tang Yanqi was startled; she was a very rational person who could come up with solutions quickly rather than becoming anxious on the spot. Seeing the red on Qi Cheng’s nightgown, Tang Yanqi roughly guessed what was happening. Using all her strength to carry Qi Cheng back to the dorm, Tang Yanqi attempted to find her phone to call 120, only to realize that neither her phone nor Qi Cheng’s were there.

Regardless of the late hour, Tang Yanqi knocked on the neighboring dormitory’s door, asking them to call 120 while quickly sticking a heating pad on Qi Cheng and giving her some warm water.

A group of girls hurriedly carried Qi Cheng downstairs, and just then the 120 ambulance arrived. Tang Yanqi didn’t even have time to change clothes, so wearing pajamas and a jacket, she went with them onto the ambulance.
