Chapter 1945: Section 1946 Day 1

Lapuye acknowledged the importance of Maya’s prophecy fragment, and no one present would oppose it.

Moreover, they also knew that even if such a heart-rending prophecy fragment didn’t occur in the Southern Domain, they could still gather extremely important future clues from this heavyweight prophecy.

Any future clue might become the key to opening a new world’s door for the Prophet Wizard. Not to mention such a heavyweight future fragment, even for True Knowledge Level Prophet Wizards, there’s significant benefit!

Therefore, the weight of Maya’s prophecy is indeed invaluable, deserving of its title.

...

There hasn’t been any progress on the prophecy of the Doomsday Scenery; it can only be set aside for now.

Amidst a crowd of complex gazes, Maya sat down.

At this moment, everyone was looking at Maya and Dororo beside her with changed eyes. Before, they might have been somewhat dismissive, but now, almost all were respectful.

Respect aside, considering today’s exchange meeting, this pair of master and disciple contributed almost half of the future fragments, and their hearts felt somewhat bitter.

The disparity in strength was one thing, but the difference in talent was so vast, like a chasm... it’s really difficult for them to be at peace.

This was the thought of the Prophet Wizards present, but for the Observers, they didn’t harbor any jealousy. After all, Maya Witch’s prophecy prowess was already very strong, and astrology was her major field. She could glean future fragments of this level from the Mystery of the Stars, which was well-deserved. However, they were quite concerned about Dororo’s performance.

Dororo attended the Stargazing Hall twice and made gains both times, which couldn’t be passed off as merely luck.

Dororo must possess an extremely high prophecy talent, and judging from his cultivation speed, it’s clear that in terms of cultivation talent, he’s also not lacking.

A natural seed like this would certainly catch their attention.

Moreover, they’re not just thinking about Dororo as an individual. At present, there are many geniuses emerging from the Southern Domain, but in their view, only two or three truly stand out, with Angel and Dororo certainly occupying two seats, both originating from Barbarian Cave.

"Barbarian Cave has long been a super large Witcher Organization, dominating the Southern Domain for millennia, never faltering, and now looking at their momentum, the rise of prosperity is hard to stop..."

All Observers could foresee this, whether they felt jealousy, self-pity, reflection or blessings at this moment, regardless, their future attitude towards the Barbarian Cave will undoubtedly become more earnest.

In the confounding atmosphere within the Stargazing Hall, Maya lowered her head, her brows downcast and silent.

She was pondering over certain matters. About the inexplicable behavior that Dororo exhibited earlier.

Previously, during the conversation with Lapuye, Maya actually had another message regarding the Doomsday Scenery that wasn’t shared, which was the few vague figures she saw at the end of the future fragment.

Although she didn’t discern the identities of the figures at that time, after the stargazing ended, she thought about it carefully and identified the identities of two of them through some details.

If she were to reveal the identities of these two people, it’s estimated the atmosphere on the scene would undergo a huge shift. At that time, whether the Doomsday Scenery occurs in the Southern Domain would likely spark considerable debate.

Yet Maya didn’t mention it.

She originally intended to disclose it, but noticed Dororo’s anomaly; he seemed to realize something upon seeing the illusion of the Doomsday Scenery.

If it were anyone else, Maya might not have given it much thought, but Dororo was different; he’s the last Flame of the Baiyuan Clan, truly favored by the World Will.

He could very likely be seeing scenes that elude ordinary perception, scenes beyond the reach of even Observers.

It was because of such speculation, Maya ultimately didn’t disclose that key information. She planned to communicate with Dororo after the kinship exchange concluded today, to first see if there were other situations, and then decide tomorrow whether to state it.

After Maya completed her prophecy, the stargazing exchange continued.

Only, due to the Doomsday Scenery mentioned by Maya, everyone continued to be enveloped in a shadow, resulting in a somewhat dull atmosphere for the subsequent exchanges. Most had already lost much of their enthusiasm for the exchange and just aimed to conclude it quickly to promptly report back to their respective organizations.

Perhaps observing the stifling atmosphere, no Observers spoke further; even if they witnessed crucial prophecy fragments, they wouldn’t convey them in this atmosphere.

Plus, the information gathered today was already sufficient; be it the Peach Heart Theater, the Blissful Pure Land being attacked, Shelley’s Castle... or the Doomsday Scenery Maya mentioned, these are all vital pieces of information, carrying more weight than the typical first day exchange during Stargazing Day.

Under such circumstances, Lapuye also granted everyone’s wish by proactively ending the exchange ahead of schedule, providing everyone ample time to report back to their Witcher Organizations.

The moment Lapuye announced the conclusion of the first day of the exchange, almost everyone eagerly rushed to the Signal Tower, eager to rapidly convey today’s important news.

Amidst the bustling crowd, however, Maya Witch didn’t immediately leave, but turned back to look at a certain spot.

The Prophet Wizard from Song of the Deep Sea—Tuvalule, was presently standing at the center of the hall, whispering with Shura, the Reader of No Delusion.

Maya walked over to Tuvalule.

Though she seemed to have obtained substantial information this time, it was actually not very much in terms of practical use, especially regarding the tasks assigned by Lord Reine, which she utterly failed to complete. Be it concerning things related to Angel or the situation at the relic, she couldn’t find any clues.

For now, all she could do was see if Tuvalule had acquired any information.

While Tuvalule didn’t belong to Barbarian Cave, that peculiar relic had likewise devoured several Prophet Wizards from Song of the Deep Sea, so Tuvalule this time also carried the mission from the Sea God Florenza, leveraging Stargazing Day to foresee the depths of that relic.

Maya hoped to obtain some information from Tuvalule.

However, Maya was somewhat undecided at this moment; for prior to Stargazing Day, along the path to the hall, Tuvalule had once engaged with Maya in an exchange that wasn’t particularly pleasant, during which Tuvalule left a remark: "To acquire information from him, a price must be paid."

Maya hadn’t regarded it at the time, for she didn’t believe she’d come out empty-handed. Nonetheless, reality dealt her a harsh blow, as she ultimately didn’t obtain any information.

Now, it posed a problem.

She didn’t know what demands Tuvalule might make.

If it was excessive, I think only Lord Reine and the Sea God could negotiate.
