Chapter 1836: Section 1837 Doomsday Eye

"Is there anything else besides this image?" Angel asked.

After a moment of hesitation, Dororo shook his head: "No more."

"Really no more?" Angel noticed Dororo’s brief pause, so he asked again.

"...There are some other images, but I can tell that these are insignificant scenes." Perhaps because Angel was the first person Dororo saw after awakening from a thousand-year slumber, a kind of bond similar to imprinting made Dororo concerned about Angel, and this concern reflected in the occasional images he saw.

However, not all images have meaning. Some may just be fragments that escape from the crevices of time, or ripples on the River of Fate that don’t cause a stir. These images might not have any significance, or they might never happen; they are merely possibilities of the future.

Previously, Dororo couldn’t discern which images were meaningful and which were not. So whenever he saw images, he would tell Angel. But as his ability grew, he gradually developed the capability to discern the essence of prophecies.

Among the images Dororo saw, only the "Doomsday Eye" image that he just described held great significance for Angel.

Moreover, just seeing the contents in the image made Dororo feel a chill in his heart. Perhaps, the scenes in the image were no less terrifying than when he once saw Angel being shrouded by the shadow of the Demon God in the Abyss.

That’s why Dororo immediately went to Sky Bridge to relay this message to Angel upon "seeing" Angel return to Barbarian Cave.

Yet, after delivering the message, Dororo noticed that Angel didn’t seem very concerned.

"Aren’t you worried?" Dororo couldn’t help but ask.

"Without any reference information at the moment, what use is there to worry?" After Angel finished speaking, seeing Dororo still frowning, he couldn’t help but laugh: "I’m not worried, so why are you anxious? Maybe this image is just the cover of a novel I will read in the future, just like the ’Apocalypse Catastrophe’ on the back cover of ’Plane Conquest Record’."

"Besides, as a prophetic apprentice, you should know that the future isn’t set in stone. When you told me this message, the butterfly’s wings had already begun to flutter."

Angel’s calm demeanor slowly eased Dororo’s worry.

Since there were no leads regarding the "Doomsday Eye" image, Angel decided not to dwell on the topic and shifted the conversation to another matter.

"Speaking of which, the star-watching event is coming up soon. I remember you mentioned that you went with Maya last time?"

Dororo nodded: "Yes."

"Will you be going this time?"

"Maya mentor hasn’t mentioned it... but if I actively request, Maya mentor won’t refuse me." Dororo paused, "Do you hope I will go, my lord?"

Angel nodded: "If you can go, I hope you can help me check if anyone is secretly targeting me."

As Angel spoke, he conjured the emblem of the Seed.

He didn’t tell Dororo about the Seed, only asking him to see if anyone with the Seed emblem might be secretly aiming at him and planning revenge.

The premise was that Dororo could indeed go.

Dororo carefully memorized the pattern of the Seed and nodded: "I understand."

Dororo didn’t say much more, but he had already decided that once back on Starry Sky Island, he would immediately bring up the star-watching event with Mentor Maya. Coincidentally, he also wanted to use the star-watching day to see if he could uncover the truth behind the "Doomsday Eye" image.

After discussing the star-watching event, the curtains of the hall were lifted, and Butler Good entered carrying a tray of tea.

After Butler Good set down the tea and left, Angel said to Dororo: "I actually have something, I’d like to hear your opinion on."

"Another image, it’s something Hua Que Que told me. I hope you can help me decipher the meaning of the image."

Although Angel asked Dororo to interpret the image, he didn’t display the image directly because he hadn’t actually seen it himself.

He took out the mini signal tower from a mechanical gear button, intending to contact Hua Que Que directly, allowing her and Dororo to talk directly.

Firstly, Hua Que Que could explain the contents of the image. Secondly, Hua Que Que had never met Dororo before, and since both are "prophets" of the Baiyuan clan, maybe they’d have something to say to each other.

To Angel, the main point was having Hua Que Que meet Dororo, but to Dororo, helping Angel interpret the prophetic image was more important.

Thus, when Hua Que Que and Dororo met formally for the first time through the mini signal tower, without time for surprise or reflection, Dororo immediately inquired about the image’s contents.

At that moment, Angel was unaware of Dororo’s directness because after connecting to the mini signal tower, he left the hall to give the space to Hua Que Que and Dororo.

Outside the hall, Angel found Butler Good and casually chatted with him about recent events in the Barbarian Cave and the current state of Illusion Demon Island.

Initially, Butler Good answered Angel’s questions until Angel stopped asking, at which point Butler Good hesitated and said: "Young Master Pat, those few round stones you gave to Hebdon earlier, are they... made by Anada?"

"Did you see Anada?"

Butler Good shook his head: "I once accompanied Hebdon to Shepherd City, but I didn’t see Anada. However, I did hear from Lord Zithraide that Anada is currently studying Ritual Studies. So, I guessed that maybe they were from Anada to Hebdon."

Angel nodded: "That’s right, they were given to Hebdon by her."

"So it was her." Butler Good sighed softly, "I initially thought that Anada didn’t really care about Hebdon, but now it seems I might have misjudged her."

"It’s not that she doesn’t care; she’s just afraid to see Hebdon."

"Afraid?"

Angel briefly explained Anada’s current situation and then said, "Though Hebdon’s intelligence is at a child’s level, his observational skills are actually quite strong. He has roughly guessed why Anada won’t see him; otherwise, he wouldn’t keep sending potions over."

Thanks to Hebdon’s potions, Anada’s depleted vitality gradually began to recover.

While Butler Good was listening in realization, Angel sensed that the connection with the mini signal tower in the hall had been severed. It seemed that Hua Que Que and Dororo’s conversation had concluded.

Angel, not wanting to disturb Butler Good who was still deep in thought, turned back to enter the hall.
