Chapter 127: Angry Husband (Part 2)

Agent Helios handed me a champagne-colored dress that looked so sexy. It was the dress my old stylist picked for me that I was supposed to wear during Tiffany’s masquerade birthday party—the one with a very low V-neck with a backless design that made it appear as if the cloth were only on the sides of the dress. The skirt was too tight on the hips up to the knees and had a high slit at the side as well.

I grimaced as soon as I saw the dress. Now that I look at it in person, it truly was horrific and too showy. And I hated wearing those kinds of dresses! Ugh.

But then again, I had to do it for the mission. We had no other choice. It’s either I disguise as Ms. Hyerin or look for another invitation card and disguise as another person—something that I highly doubt we could still do given the time restrictions we had.

That’s right. We only had one more day to prepare, and the invitation card was dated for tomorrow evening. That only meant that the kidnappers would soon bring the children as goods for tomorrow’s event. The spies we sent there would also need to leave soon, or else it could be dangerous, and they might get detected since the real Min-Su was not really with them. So far, we have managed to lengthen the negotiation time with the help of Min-Su’s parents, but we couldn’t possibly prolong it more than that.

For short... there was truly no other choice.

’Ughh... It’s alright, Kim Ye-Ji. You can do it! You just have to wear that dress for a few hours or so. You can bear the humiliation. It’s for the children! Yeah. That’s right. If I don’t do it, then there’s no hope for those children being saved. Between their freedom and my humiliation, their freedom is more important. Besides, you’re just wearing something revealing. If anyone dares approach you, there are tons of ways to avoid them.’

Phew. Thinking that, I snatched the dress from Agent Helios’ hands and stood up from the couch.

"You think I can’t do it? Hah. Watch me."

And so, I went to the dressing room and changed into the darn sexy dress. Once done, I checked myself in the mirror and...

"Oh my goodness—my side boobs are showing!" I blurted out in my surprise. "A-and my thighs... If I turn to the side, anyone could see half of my butt! What in the world—who creates dresses like these?"

It seemed like I spoke too soon. I couldn’t possibly wear this dress and manage to concentrate on the mission once I infiltrated the event as Ms. Hyerin.

"M-Maybe there’s something else I can wear. Ha-ha. Right."

I quickly covered my chest with one of my hands and went to the series of clothes on the rack to check for something a little more decent. Maybe there was a dress that looked sexy but not too revealing like this one. I shook my head as I frantically looked for another.

While doing so, I heard the door of the dressing room open and someone walking in—it was Agent Helios. I saw him from the reflection of the mirror beside me, grinning like the devil once more. Ugh. He looked so smug, probably thinking he had already won.

"What’s wrong, my dear wife?" Agent Helios asked in a tone that was obviously mocking me. "Can’t handle it?"

’Ugh. He’s really pissing me off. I hate it when he says I can’t do something.’

So, of course, the prideful me breathed in deeply, trying to gain a little courage for myself.

’I can do this. I can do this.’

I then stopped covering my chest, stood up straight, and turned around to face my evil husband.

"Who said I can’t?" I answered him back, glaring confidently at him.

’Hah! Take that! You think I can’t handle it? Well, think again! Hmp!’

Agent Helios’ mischievous grin was soon replaced by a huge shock. His eyes widened, and his mouth gaped as he looked at me from head to foot.

But just a few seconds after that, he glared back at me disapprovingly and strode towards me, catching me by my waist.

"As expected... I shouldn’t let you dress like that," he whispered to me as he drew his face close.

"Huh? But I can do it! I can pull it off! I just needed a little confidence, and now I have it, so—"

"I said NO," he said sternly, sounding angrier than earlier.

"B-But I—"

"Do you know what other men will do once they see you dress so sexily like that?"

"Ugh... Yes, I know! But it’s not like I’m gonna let them touch me as they want! I can protect myself! There are tons of ways to avoid them!"

"Really, huh?"

Agent Helios raised his eyebrows and inched closer to me, pushing me against the wall.

’What the heck is he doing?’

Getting more pissed off at him, I answered him back with the same intensity.

"Yes, I CAN!"

At those words, Agent Helios snapped. His eyes turned cold, and he looked down at me, obviously unamused.

"Alright. Let’s see you do that."

His hand quickly cupped my face and pulled me close in a kiss.

"Uhm! Hey—"

I tried to take his hand off my face, but I could barely lift it.

While kissing me wildly, his hands went down to my neck and then to my shoulders, taking off the dress from my body.

"Eun-Woo’ya, stop—" I tried to talk in between the kiss, but his lips and his tongue easily shut me up. "Uhmm..."

I tried to push him away but just like before, I could barely push him. He had always been stronger than me. All my years of training in Mythos were always rendered useless if he was my enemy.

Soon, Agent Helios’ hands were back down to my waist, and suddenly, he lifted me up and made me sit on top of the cabinet beside us. He parted my legs and raised one of them as his hand ran through my thigh, gently squeezing them. As he did, his mouth soon traveled from my lips to my neck.

He was trying to make a point.

And what a huge point that was.

Once faced with stronger men... in reality, I couldn’t defend myself.
