"What’s wrong?" he asked calmly, to which she just kept staring at him, but eventually, she said, "It’s... nothing," she smiled, though the smile wasn’t exactly a genuine one.

"...Okay," he said, and she then added, "Let’s go," to which he nodded, walked behind the wheelchair and continued until they reached the teleportation zone. After performing the very same process they did while coming to Elflame—which was purchasing tickets and verifying their identity—they headed for the portal and found themselves at the teleportation zone of the Academy. They weren’t alone as many students who had as well left occasionally appeared from the portal.

With more people available, the effect of Asher’s looks, which for some reason had even intensified a bit more, could be seen. Some people literally froze looking at him and that made him...

That was the major problem he was talking about. After all, it was like that with Auston’s harem. The only reason something bad hadn’t happened to him was because of his black hole personality and the fact he was just as strong, if not stronger than most of the girls. But that was not the case for Asher. His only access to ether was through his slave seal and if he tried to use it, he would expend it in an instant leaving him powerless. If some girl... someone like Tracy who was extremely powerful for some reason became like Emilia, then that would be a major problem. Chances of her finding a way to cage him just as it had happened with Noel was 85.542% and rising.

He had to do something about this... and fast.

At this point he came to a conclusion. Natalia was unstable, far more unstable than he thought. In fact, from the very beginning, she was getting familiar with him too easily, even to the point of slowly acting like he was some old friend instead of a recent acquaintance. She trusted him too much, and that was not matching her character. She was not someone to easily trust others, considering the turmoil she had and her condition coupled with blatant intentions she sensed from people who approached her, so it was somewhat unsettling for her to so quickly befriend him. Yes, his attitude and approach might have helped, but even for him, this was overwhelming. His calculation did not reach such possibilities, and his initial prediction of today’s conclusion of meeting her was for her to be ’interested’ in him, which would then be the basis for which he would build friendship from, utilizing ’coincidences’ to bring about ’unforeseen’ situations for which he would save her, and all the other cliche routes that worked, to build an unbreakable bond with her. But now, now it felt like... she would do anything, all he had to do was ask.

And that was disturbing... even for him.

It was too fast, and something this fast tended to be unstable and something unstable was a variable, and he hated variables.

So, he would distance himself from her a bit, not only to build his own strength to be able to stand his ground and protect himself if at some point she snaps and tries to do something to him, but also, for the presence of her other friends to help bring in some self control.

Even in the game, after Natalia had found out what her family did to her, she went crazy in her quest for revenge to completely wipe out her family. And while that was happening, he clearly remembered that she had somehow taken control of her friends and various other people... Like she literally controlled them. It wasn’t the type of control Vivian did where she manipulated your emotions, no, it was something else.

Something he still couldn’t place his finger on, and that was what he suspected she had done with him to bring him to that Almeria building. She must have controlled him to get her out of there and perhaps kept him unconscious in the process... or at least that was the conclusion he was getting to.

If that for any reason was true, then he might have to completely review his plans of controlling her, cause if he didn’t know the idea behind her ability to control someone, even someone unconscious! Then he would be digging his own grave.
