Chapter 86: They Both Love The Same Man...

Solaia watched as she sighed after her sister left her; she continued on watching the people dancing happily.

She wished she and Abanoon were like these people, free to do what they want and be themselves without abiding by any law.

Solaia knew that Abanoon was loathing her as they were always compared to each other, but Solaia didn’t want all the attention she was getting.

They were born as the light and darkness; as she grew up, everyone was adoring her, while her twin sister, who has the power of darkness, was loathed by other goddesses.

Years past and every year that passed, the more Abanoon became far from her, and worse, she did some terrible.

The war on land started, and many people were dying on her watch.

Solaia was crying silently as she was watching the people she once adored killing each other.

"Now, now... my dearest sister, did you like my surprise?" Abanoon appeared one day as she was smirking at her.

She might be talking about the war that she made on land; Abanoon looks very satisfied with her misery, and it’s not just that Abanoon was cast out of their realm.

Abanoon killed lots of people; not only that, she broke the rule of their realm on not killing their own kind when she killed one of the goddesses.

"What are you doing here?" Solaia asked as she was looking at her sister. Abanoon’s appearance had changed so much ever since she was cursed from killing her own kind.

"Am I not welcome here anymore?" Abanoon said as she acted innocently.

Solaia looked and saw Abanoon stop when she noticed something from the corner.

"What is that?" Abanoon said as she looked at the thing where she was watching Dromonos.

Dromonos was the crown prince of the Dragon Empire. Dragons once lived on their place as celestial beings, and one was even held as the dragon god, but he rebelled as he didn’t like what was going on in their realm.

And Dromonos was the son of once called the dragon god, who, just like Abanoon, was cast from their realm for going against their law.

"Is this the mortal you fancy?" Abanoon said as she looked at her while her eyes looked very dark and dangerous.

Solaia knew that if she said yes, Abanoon would try to destroy anything that makes her happy.

"No," Solaia answered flatly.

------------------------

Didn’t she know that Abanoon already knew that she fancied that man?

Every time Abanoon was looking at man, as she was watching him from afar, she didn’t know why her sister was getting involved with him; she saw her once when she came down, and she healed and blessed people.

Days past, she was still looking after the man, and Abanoon didn’t know why she also felt something strange for him.

Now, she knew why her sister liked him, and if she can’t take him, she will as she was here. unlike Solaia, who will not fight their realm just to be with him.

Abanoon decided she would introduce herself to him, but how? She knew he would be scared if he saw her face.

She and Soalia have the same face, but ever since she killed that minor goddess in their realm for meddling too much with her business. Her face was cursed; it wasn’t like before.

"Ahhhhh!" She shouted inside her own palace, which she created in one of the mountains on land; she never knew that it would happen to someone as high as her.

She was mad as she tried getting out and introducing herself, but loads of rubbish people threw rocks on her as they saw; she didn’t even have the chance to see the man she fancy.

"I will kill those people. How dare they land their dirty things on me? Me a goddess and once lives up there, they’re ungrateful!" Abanoon said as she sent a blast on the wall.

"M-master." She looked at her side and saw her only disciple; the kid was still a little, but Abanoon saw his dedication and hatred towards people as he too was being chased out by his own village as he was not as normal as them.

She took him in as he begged her to be her loyal servant; she cured his curse when she couldn’t even do it to herself.

"What was it, Paul?" Abanoon said as she frowned at the kid.

"Should I send the demons to them?" Paul asked her, which made her frown.

"I mean, it’s been awhile since we attacked people," Paul said, which made her raise her brows as she sat on her chair.

Abanoon put her chin on her hand as she thought.

"No, let it be." She finally said, sighed.

She still had some plans if she would let those demons she created attack the people. Dromonos will surely fight with them, and she didn’t want to cause him some harm.

Abanoon decided that she would introduce herself that morning, and she was sure if he knew what she did, he would love her.

Oh, how it was nice to be loved by someone she had never had before.

Little did she know that her heart would be turned into pieces that morning when she came to the kingdom.

"Are you sure you’re going to court goddess Solaia?" Abanoon stiffened when she heard those things when she was about to call his name.

"Yes, father said it is the right time that I should find myself a bride." Abanoon heard him laugh and smile at the man he was talking with, her hands close into fists as her heart was shuttered in a million pieces.

"Are you out of your mind?" The man asked him, which made Abanoon sighed as she was trying to control her anger.

Tell him! Her mind shouted as she was still listening to the two of them.

"You can’t marry a goddess; you’re just a mortal," the man said, which made Abanoon stiffen.

No, she knew that the man wasn’t a mortal.

He was the son of the dragon god who reblled against the law on their realm, which she and Solaia both often heard when they were young.

"No, father said I could," Dromonos said as he chuckled, which made Abanoon’s heart clench in pain.

She turned and disappeared from that place with a broken heart.

"Ahhhhh"

She sent a strong blast, and she wasn’t contented; she sent and sent more as she was raging in anger.

"Master, what’s happening?" she heard Paul ask as he was rushing towards her.

She looked at him and had an idea.

"Prepare the demons we will attack now," she said as she wiped her own tears with her own hands.

She saw the worry on his face as he nodded and rushed outside to follow her command.

"If I can’t have you, no one can, and I know for sure that Solaia doesn’t even know how you feel, and I will make sure she won’t," Abanoon said to herself as she clenched her hand into a fist.

Meanwhile, the people who were having such a happy feast as they were going to prepare for the goddes to come down for them didn’t even have a single idea that the supposed happy day would be the one that they dreaded.

Solaia was preparing herself, as she was going down to the mortal realm, and will celeberate a feast with them.

The dragon king invited her to stay there for awhile, which she didn’t decline.

But Solaia was feeling something she didn’t know; she tried seeing it using her gift to see the future, but it was blocked.

She looks at Flamear, who was sitting on his bed and was waiting for her.

"You want to come with me?" Solaia asked and the beast nodded.

Flamear was her divine beast gifted to her by the other goddess; she cherishes him, as she never had the chance to take care of her own sister as she was always pushing her away.

Flamear looked at him when suddenly he collapsed.

Solaia was worried and she used her power to make him better.

She knew when Flamear was being like this is when he got some prophecy, which is odd as it has been so many years since she received one.

She gets up and she sees that Flamear also gets up, and he shook his head as if he were stopping her from leaving.

"Hey, what’s wrong?" Solaia asked as she looked into his eyes and used her power to see why he was being like that.

She was surprised at what she was seeing; now he understood Flamear didn’t want her to come, and she knew the other goddess wouldn’t meddle, as it was on their law that they were not allowed to meddle with some things that were about to happen.

But she couldn’t just abandon them, couldn’t she?

She will stop Abanoon from destroying and killing everything. She was about to turn when she saw from that water she was using to see the land that there was a big explosion that happened.

Acantha looked at Flamear, who was still trying to stop him, but she sealed him, using her power as she didn’t want her friend to die with her; she also altered his memory by giving him some new.

She looks at her diary that was on the table and she puts it on her hand, and she carried Flamear with her in the place where she always goes whenever she is in the mortal realm, in the place where fairies live, in the place where she knew he would be safe.

She casts a spell on the diary that if something happens to her, everything she knows will be written in that thing, and Flamear will give it to someone, someone who was her.

She saw her on Flamear’s eyes—she who will not grow in this world...
