Acantha and Jarnus looked at Helion, who was now shouting and shivering in pain after she put the bracelet on him.

"What was happening?" She asked as she looked at Flamear, who was looking at Helion without any ounce of worry on his face.

"His body is reacting to the bracelet; that bracelet was to suppress his dragon powers and suppress his mana energy." Flamear said as he looked at Helion as he was still screaming in pain.

"Huhh," Acantha gasped when she saw some scales on his body, but it was only for seconds as it was also disappearing.

"That was the sign that his dragon blood was battling with the bracelet’s power on suppressing them," Flamear said as he looked at her.

"Is His Highness going to be alright?" Jarnus asked Flamear as he was looking at Helion with worry in his eyes, as the latter was still screaming.

"Yes, we should leave him here," Flamear said as he walked out of the room and looked at them when Jarnus and Her didn’t follow him. "He’s going to be alright; he just needs to conquer it by himself," Flamear said as he walked again this time; they both followed him even though they were hesitating as they were still worried at Helion.

They were now in the living room of the place where they seemed to be lost in another space, as their mind seems to be somewhere inside the other room with Helion.

"Lady, I forgot to mention this to you, but before his Highness had an attack, we both saw your personal maid in an alley; she was hiding a jar on her, which we recognized where you put the demon Gamon. His Highness tried to catch the person she gave the jar to when Mildred left the place, but that man has a power too; he was also strong, and beside that day, His Highness was already not feeling well; we just managed to get this one." Jarnus said as he took something out from his side, and that’s where she saw the jar where she put Gamon.

Acantha was wondering why Gamon still didn’t show up, and this is the reason. It’s because Helion managed to steal it from the person Mildred was conspiring with; she still had a hard time accepting that she betrayed her.

"His Highness was worried about what you may feel, as he knows how much you cherish her, My Lady." Jarnus said as he looked at her.

Acantha didn’t answer as she even looked away for them not to notice the pain in her eyes; she was hurting, and she hasn’t even confronted Mildred as she was scared to know how she betrayed her.

The woman looked at the man who was eating in front of her; she was disgusted to even look at him.

How could he betray them? Especially her? She trusted him.

"What are you looking at?" The man questioned her, and she just looked at him while glaring.

"You should at least thank me for still giving you food," the man said as he smirked at her.

"And why should I thank you? You betrayed us, especially her!" The woman said as she yelled at the man, who just laughed maniacally.

"My, my, you’re really loyal to them, Huh?" The man said as he walked near her and grabbed her by her chin.

"That’s why you’re the perfect one for that role; the more you are closer to them, the more it will hurt them," the man said as he let her chin go barbarically.

"I am going to make their life upside down, and you as my pawn." The man laughed again.

"You’re evil, you won’t win, and if the crown prince find out-"

She didn’t finish her sentence when the man was suddenly in front of her and was now choking her.

"Do you think I care for what he thinks? I am not even scared of anyone, as I am even more powerful than them." The man said as he looked at her like he was killing her already.

She was struggling to breathe now as the man was still choking her. "If you only hadn’t had any purpose, I would have killed you already since you still had some use for me; I’ll let you live for a while." The man said as he looked at her before walking out of the place.

"I’m sorry, my lady." Mildred said as she was losing her consciousness.

Acantha didn’t know, but she felt something.

It was like someone called her name, or maybe she was just hearing things.

Are you alright, my lady?" She turned around and saw that Flamear and Jarnus were both looking at her.

"Yeah, are you saying something?" She asks as she looks at them, assuring them that she is fine.

"We were talking about Mildred." Jarnus said as he looked at her, like he was eyeing her to see if she feels hurt or not.

"I already told her that Mildred had been acting different these past few days," Flamear said as he looked at her.

Acantha sighed at what she said as she looked at them again: "I haven’t confronted her yet." Acantha said helplessly.

"I know it’s hard for you, as we all know that Mildred was the one who raised you since your mother died and since the duke wasn’t there always for you when you grew up." Jarnus said as he looked at Flamear.

"I have something to tell you," Flamear said as he looked at them while he looked so serious.

"What was it?" Acantha asked as she looked at her.

"There was something off." Flamear said as he looked at her. "There was one time where I went to test Mildred; I went to her, and her scents kind of off; it was like she has a new smell with her." Flamear said as he looked at her, which made her frown.

"What do you mean?" Acantha asked as she was still frowning at him.

"Her smell. Mildred was always in the kitchen and loved helping the other maids do the housework, but why does it seem like she didn’t smell any of them, unless you are with her?" Flamear said as he looked at her.

"She was always doing those things when you were around, and sometimes I could feel that she was another person," Flamear said, and Acantha didn’t know why, but she felt some hope that Mildred, she meant that the Mildred who was there with was not the Mildred she knew, if so?

Where is the real Mildred?

"Are you still wearing the necklace that Elida had given to you?" Flamear asked as he looked at her, which made her stiffen.

She was wearing.

Acantha tried to touch her neck, but there was no necklace.

"It’s with me." Acantha lifted her face and saw Jarnus holding the necklace and looked at her.

"His highness found this necklace when you were with him at the forest; he just forgot to give it back as he was occupied with what was happening right now." Jarnus said as she gave her the necklace.

She’s so careless and stupid!

How can she not feel that the necklace was already gone on her neck?

What if someone got it? What if it went to those people they were looking for?

She can’t believe she was this stupid.

She was about to say something when suddenly they heard some loud noise come from inside. They looked at each other, and then they realized that it came from where Helion is.

They rush to find out what happened and when they open the door-

The palace was in chaois, eveyrone was feeling the tension as the Empress walks back and forth in front of them.

"Where is my son?!" The Empress said as she just got a message frome the Abellarde’s that Helion wasn’t there.

If he wasn’t there where could he gone?

It was impossible for him to go to the duke as they had a huge feud that was still going on.

"Your Majesty, please find our son," the Empress said as she looked at her husband, who was looking at her.

The Emperor was just sitting there and was looking at her.

She shouldn’t have encouraged his son to marry Lady Noraya.

SHe knew her son fled, as it was also her fault for forcing him to marry him.

She felt so pathetic, and at the same time she felt bad for his son.

She just wanted what was right for him. Is that even wrong? for her?

She just wanted what was best for him.

The Empress looked at her people as she was feeling hopeless; she didn’t even know where her son was, and he was sick.

The only person who could help him was Lady Noraya, and now he was not even there to heal himself.

She just hoped she was doing fine, as she was feeling really bad for him and she was worried at the same time.

Helena sighed in worry.
