Chapter 25: Flamear

Arthur saw how the Elder fairy took a knife and was about to slice his daughter’s palm when-

"What are you doing?" Arthur asked the elder fairy who was about to cut her daughter’s palm when he interrupted.

The elderly fairy just looked at him while Hernand was at his back who also didn’t know what the elder fairy called Elida was doing.

"We need to wake the beast and the lady’s blood has some divine power on it that can be use to wake the divine beast," Elida said to them.

Though Arthur was hesitating, if the beast will be the one to help his daughter then be it.

The fairies who they heard a while ago was also there who was now circling around Acantha and the beast who were both lying.

After Elida finished cutting a small wound on Acantha’s palm they saw that the pattern on her hand up to her shoulders glow in a golden light, it looks like a golden string, the string who was also visible in the beast body as it was also glowing the same as Acantha’s.

The fairies who were circling dance in an unfamiliar sounds which they also made by singing.

All they could do was to watch and soon they saw and heard Acantha gasped for her breath.

She was now floating in air but not to high, Arthur felt relief when he saw his daughter breathe again

Acantha was in a place where she could see so many beautiful flowers, she has been walking for hours and yet it seems like she not getting away from where she was.

The place looks familiar, had she gone in here before?

She can’t remember what happened why is she here, all she remember was they were going to the North were her mothers family are.

Acantha walks again but this time, the place looks like beside a river. Lays in the corner of the forest where she has been walking for many hours, she saw a light.

Acantha followed the light and when she reaches it, she saw a white tiger who was sleeping peacefully in the cave which looks like a tomb rather than a cave.

But why is there a tiger here? and why is it sleeping?

She wanted to runaway as she might wake it and it will eat her, but something seems to be pulling her to the animal.

She went near it and saw how big the tiger is, it’s bigger than a usual tiger.

"Ouch!" She suddenly felt something painful in her arms, she looks at it and saw that there are some gold patterns on her arm.

They look like a small suns with fire around them, I don’t know how to explain it, "Ouch" I said as I felt pain from it again.

I look around me and was shock that we were surrounded by a fire like it was going to burn us a live.

I felt scared and went to where the tiger was laying and went up, to avoid the fire. The tigers fur looks very smooth, and I saw the same pattern on it’s body.

What does this mean?

I hold it’s hand, and suddenly there was a bigger light. I close my eyes as it was too painful .

I tried opening my eyes when I can’t feel the light anymore and definitely, I can’t feel the fire anymore. When I opened my eyes the tiger wasn’t there anymore. I looked around only to see that there is really no fire which is odd.

"Solaia" Someone called and I turned around and saw the tiger there who was now looking at me," I have been waiting for so long to see you again," The voice continued and still there is no one there except for the tiger.

"Are you the one who’s speaking?" I said as I looked at the tiger who was still there.

"It’s me, Solaia" Acantha’s eyes grew big when she confirmed that the one who was calling her Solaia and talking to her was indeed the tiger itself.

"I’m not Solaia" I said as I looked straight on it’s golden eyes.

"You’re not Solaia?" The tiger asked, and I nodded in answer, " But, how can you break the seal?" The tiger continued to ask and Acantha frowned .

"What seal?" She asked the tiger as she can’t understand what it meant by breaking the seal.

"The one on your arm, and in my body," The tiger answered and Acantha looked at the pattern that was now fading on her arms. " Now, how can you say you’re not Solaia, you even have some-" The tiger stopped talking when it notices something.

"Wait! What happened to you hair?" The tiger asked as it went behind her, and she can feel that the tiger smell and touches her hair.

"What about my hair?" Acantha asked as she turn around to face the tiger.

"You still have the same smell, but why is you hair pink?" The tiger said as he looks at her.

"I told you I’m not Solaia, I am Acantha. Acantha Klartis Solaris" Acantha said as she was explaining to the tiger who seems to still not believe her.

"Klartis? Isn’t the man’s name that you have given to him when you give him some divine blessings?" The tiger said as it looks at her.

"Wait- you!, You need to wake up! "The tiger said as he pointed his finger at her. " I can feel you faint heart-beat" The tiger said. " Here, and wake up" The tiger blows in the wind and -

Everyone was looking at the beast and Acantha when suddenly Acantha’s heart-beat became faint again.

Arthur felt that he was put again in a situation that he felt useless no matter how powerful he is, he still can’t do anything for his daughter, he thought that bringing her here in the North would make her strong but it seems like it get more worse as a while ago she was already dead, and now she was dying again.

"Stop it!" Arthur said as he looked at the fairies who was surrounding his daughter.

"What do you mean ?"

"We were near"

"How dare a human command us?"

He heard the fairies said as they were glaring at him as they stopped from dancing and singing.

"Can’t you see?" He said as he tried looking at Acantha who was breathing faintly as her eyes were still closed.

The fairies look and turned and that when they only realized, " What’s happening to her?" They asked as they too looks worried.

Elida also didn’t knew what happened one moment they saw that everything was going fine, but suddenly the girls breathing became fainter.

Then there is a suddenly explosion which made everyone scattered and panic.

Arthur went to get his daughter, the area was now covered in smoke from the explosion.

He walks where she was and then suddenly the smoke was gone.

They saw the tiger who was sleeping a while ago standing next to her daughter like it was protecting her.

"Who are you?" They heard a powerful voice and everyone knew that the one who was speaking was the divine beast.

"Flamear" Everyone looked at the elder fairy who was now flying towards the tiger.

"Elida?" The tiger asked as he was asking if she calls him the right name.

"It’s me Flamea, " Elida confirmed as she reaches him.

"What happened to you?" The tiger said as he looked at Elida.

"It’s been a thousand years, Flamear" Elida said and the tiger looks surprised at what he hears from his old friend.

"Thousand years? What happened to the war?" The tiger said as he looked at the old friend he had.

"We won the war, but it we lost her," Elida said as she hugged Flamear who was frowning at her.

"What do you mean? Solaia was here with me," He said as he looked at behind him, and everyone saw that Acantha was now sleeping at the back of the tiger.

Elida looked at her old friend, If there is someone who knew about the late goddess it was him, and she looked at Acantha again.

"Have you forgotten how she looks like?" Flamear said as he look disappointed to Elida.

"I-I can’t remember her face," Elida said, It was true no one knew the face of their goddess as if she was forgotten by those people she helped.

The fairies were the only ones who didn’t forgot about her, but they only knew her in her name.

Flamear looked at his old friend and he realized something, this must be Abanoon’s doing.

He was about to tell say it when he felt someone move on his back.

"What’s going on?" They all looked at the confuse Acantha who just woke up.

"Aki" Arthur said and he was about to run at her when the tiger named Flamear growled at him.

"Impudence Human! How dare you go near the goddess?" Flamear said as he was glaring at Arthur who was pulled by Hernand.

"And who are? let me down" Acantha was the one to answer the tiger who was still glaring at the duke.

"Solaia, these humans here are disrespecting you!" Flamear said to her and now looks like a puppy who was scared of his master.

"I’m not Solaia" Acantha said as she glared at the tiger, "Now, put me down!" She commanded which tiger obeyed.

"Flamear, she’s not Solaia, Solaia sacrifice herself to save everyone," Elida said as she looked at him.

Flamear couldn’t believe what he was hearing, that last thing he remember when Solaia sealed him, and said that they will meet again.

He looked at girl who looks exactly like Solaia, he uses his divine eyes to look at the girls soul and -
