Villainess Want's To Ignore Them!
Chapter 167: Wedding

Chapter 167: Wedding

I was walking with Helion as he was just still quiet beside me. I sighed

"Are you still worried about that again?" Helion asked him as he looked worried about her.

I just shook my head even though I am.

"You’ve been sighing many times, I told you. No one can force you to do it... If you were thinking about the emperor, I could talk to him again," Helion said as we stopped walking and sat in a pavilion in his palace.

"No, I will do it," I said as I looked at him.

He caresses my face as he looks at me with tenderness in his eyes.

"Are you sure? There are still many ways for us... I didn’t want to force you by trapping you in this marriage," Helion said as he looked at her as he tried to smile.

I just watched him as he did. I know Helion didn’t want me to be put in this kind of situation.

But the emperor thinks that if my hunches about Noraya were right, we needed to put an end to it in order for people to live in peace without getting harmed everyday.

And besides, it was the right thing to do if they would just slack off there and wait for Abanoon to come by herself. The more they wasted the time that they should have done things to get her and defeat them instead of just slacking out there.

"No, the more we just stay here doing nothing, Abanoon was probably gathering my—Solaia’s artifact to swallow in order for her to regain more powers," I said as I looked at him, and Helion just nodded.

"What do you mean?" Helion asked as he frowned at what I said.

"There’s something just like the lyre and the necklace that we got from Madam Abellarde..." I said and I stopped when I realized something.

"What’s wrong?" Helion asked as he looked at me as I stiffened.

"I forgot to tell you something..." I said as I looked at him.

"What was it?" he asked as he looked bothered and worried about what I was about to say.

Flashback~~~

I was walking at home yesterday as I was thinking about what the emperor said. Father was also out to go to the other territories to see whether or not there’s a problem within them.

I was walking so that I didn’t know I had reached the door where the path for the dungeon is.

If you come to think of it...

It’s been months since she last saw Madam Abellarde and her daughter, who are imprisoned in their dungeon.

It wouldn’t hurt a thing if she paid them some visits...

I walked through the hallway to the dungeon when I noticed that the knight who was guarding the cell of Madam Abellarde’s daughter seemed to be panicking, as he seemed to not know what to do.

"What was happening here?" I asked as I looked at him, and the knight paled when he saw me.

"Lady Acantha..." The knight bowed as soon as he regained his composure.

"What was happening in here?" I asked as I looked at the body of Evander’s twin sister.

"She was not moving anymore," the knight said as he looked worried.

"I told you...she had been dead for many days and yet no one believes me here." I looked at Madam Abellarde as she was weeping and she was glaring at me.

"This is all your fault; if you hadn’t locked us out here, my daughter would be alive right now," she said as she rush and tried to attack me when she couldn’t even go beyond the railings.

Now come to think of it.

If I wanted someone to look at Abanoon’s every move, I could use this opportunity.

Knowing that this lady was also Paul’s daughter, whose existence he seems not to know, as Madam Abellarde raised her by herself.

"I can help you," I said as I looked at the crying Madam Abellarde, who lifted her head to look at me.

"Help me? You?" she said as she chuckled and looked at me.

"I know you had gained some powers, but do you think I didn’t do everything to bring back my daughter alived?" she asked as she snorted.

"If you don’t want to, then just say it... Just so you know, I brought my father back to life," I said as I raised my brows at her.

"You’re lying. How can someone like you bring another person back to life when the goddess I asked for help can’t even do it easily and needed me to kill many people in order for my daughter to continue breathing?" she said as she looked at me with anger in her eyes.

"You’re talking about Abanoon?" I asked, which made her stiffen when I did.

"You, how did you know her?" she asked as she looked at me with confusion written on her face.

"It’s easy.... Look... Is this familiar?" I asked as I lifted the necklace that I was holding and the ring.

"How did you get that?" she asked as she looked at me.

"Have you forgotten that when we caught you, you had this thing with you... Does Abanoon even know that you have two of the artifacts she owns? Or should I say her sister owned these things?" I said as I let her see it.

"What do you mean?" she asks as she looks at me.

"These things weren’t owned by Abanoon to begin with... This was owned by the goddess Solaia, who filled it with divine power and yet, her sister stole it from her and used it for darkness; that’s why your daughter could even breathe... It’s not because of the ritual or the people you killed; it’s because of these things," I said as I looked at her straight in the eyes.

"You mean..." she said as she was trembling in fear.

"Yes, she made you murder so many people, but the real thing is you don’t need to kill anyone. She was making you do that for her own gain, as she thinks that killing people would bring her back to life," I said as I looked at her.

I still remember the thing that I had seen in the place. Aside from rotting corpses, there was an altar for ritual. Which she knows was where her supposed daughter devoured them when, in fact, Abanoon was the one who was inside the body of her daughter everytime she gave some people for her to eat.

"No... that can’t be..." she said as she looked like she had lost it.

"Abanoon didn’t actually plan to bring your daughter back alive; she was just using you for her gain." I said as I looked at her as she trembled in fear and betrayal that she just had learned.

"You said you could bring my daughter back..." she said as she looked at me while she was still trembling and looking hopeful.

"Yes... but not everything is free..." I said as I looked at her and she looked at me unbelievably, and later on she just sighed.

"I am willing to do anything for her..." she said.

I looked at her. I know how much she loved her daughter, even Noraya, who was born because the baron forced himself on her to get himself an heir, but he was disappointed when Noraya was born.

He was not really a good father to her, but he became attentive to her when she showed some power of being Klartis.

The baron has seen it as an opportunity to claim the house that he has been dreaming of, but his dream was shattered by me.

I looked at her as I whispered something in her ear, and I saw her eyes widen at what I said and she nodded.

End of Flashback~~~

"You mean to say you made a deal to madame Abellarde?" he asked as he looked at me like he didn’t believe what I said now.

"Yes, she was freed by me now..." I said as I looked at him as he looked worried at what I said.

"You don’t have to worry. I put a contract to her that if she even did not do what was said in the contract, she will die," I said as I looked at him and that’s when I heard him sigh in relief.

"I only did it because she was also Paul’s daughter," I said as I looked at him.

"That way we can have something against Paul, and besides, I know that Madame Abellarde wasn’t that bad; she was just doing everything just to make her child back in life," I said as I looked at Helion.

"I trust whatever your decision," he said as we got up and saw that it was almost lunchtime.

"Do you want to eat inside?" he said as he offered to eat lunch with me.

"No, I will talk with my father about this first, as the wedding will happen in a week," I said as I smiled at him.

He nodded and went closer to me and gave my forehead a kiss, which made me blush.

"Okay, I’ll see you in a week," he said as he watched me go.

When I got home, I went straight back to my room again. everything seems too fast; I just hope everything will work well.

I sighed as I closed my eyes and decided to go to the dining room.
