Acantha looked at her window as it was still raining that morning; last night it was raining very heavily.

How can they find the dagger if it was raining? It was the first time that she was here in the Tenebrisaya that it rained.

Acantha looked at her door when she heard a knock. Flamear was in the other corner of the room and was sleeping, as he was tired of looking at them every night just in case some people would try to harm them.

She looked at the bracelet on her hand. She changes their appearances again , or rather, she changes the color of their hair and eyes, as golden eyes and red eyes were not common colors of eyes.

"What was it?" Acantha asked when she saw Jarnus when she opened her door.

"His Highness already prepared breakfast; they’re waiting for us downstairs," Jarnus said as he looked at her.

"All right, just wait for a moment," Acantha said as she got her coat, as it was a little cold; the clothes that she brought with her were a little thinner, as it was very hot in Tenebrisaya and rain only happens here rarely.

Jarnus was still waiting for her when she got out, and they both went together downstairs, where Helion and Ernie were waiting for them.

Acantha looked at the table, and she saw that they had already ordered some food, and it seemed like Helion knew what she liked to eat.

She sits next to Helion, who moves the chair for her.

"It seems like we won’t go later. I have talked to one of the people and said that it won’t stop till tomorrow, as it was the first rain for this year in here," Ernie said as he was eating some meat.

"The man who was also here a while ago also said the same thing," Jarnu said as he took a sip from his glass.

"They said that it would be a miracle if it rained here in the Tenebrisaya without making any fake rain," Helion said as he looked at her while she was eating.

Acantha just nodded as she looked at her food. she knew that rain here in Tenebrisaya was a miracle, as it was supposed to be a barren land. it was just that she blessed the people who used to live here with some place to get their food, but it seems like the people who live here now didn’t know how to make it bloom and to give some importance to it.

Instead, they abused the gift that she gave them.

"What are we going to do today?" Ernie asked as he looked at them.

"What are we supposed to do when it’s raining?" Jarnus said as he sighed.

They stayed the whole day in the place where they were staying and mostly they stayed and ate there at the restaurant below.

They just enjoyed their day by having a leisure time that they all knew they didn’t need, but the rain was a blessing in disguise as they could use the time also to relax themselves and to plan.

The next morning they all woke up early as the sun shone brighter than before.

They did their usual thing as they ate some food and then they just left the place.

Flamear also went with them this time as he shrunk himself into a small cat that she could just carry around.

"This is bigger than the place we were before," Jarnus said as they roamed around the town as they were looking for the dagger.

"Yes, but there’s something odd with the people in here," Ernie said as he put his finger on his chin as he looked around the place.

Acantha also noticed that the people looked like their moves were all calculated.

The place is really odd, as the people weren’t flocking outside or talking to each other like normal people should do.

Like they avoid talking outside where people can hear them or avoid making any crowd, even if it’s small.

They were looking at a stall as they were buying some things when suddenly the people kneeled on their knees.

Acantha looked and saw that it was the four of them who weren’t doing the exact thing.

The people who were near them looked confused and looked worried at them.

"What are you four doing?" they heard the shop owner, who was an old man, say as he too stood up to bring them with him.

"You, what do you think you’re doing?!?" The knight who was walking near them said as he was glaring at them. at his back there were more knights who were staring at them.

"You just disrespected Lady Donarian ," The knight said as he pointed to the lady who was in the carriage while some men who weren’t wearing knights uniform were surrounding that carriage she was in.

"Bring these five people here and bring them to the Krazer Mansion." the knight said as he looked at them and the others followed them.

It seems like they don’t need to cause any ruckus to get to the duke’s house, but the old man shouldn’t be with them.

"No, no... there’s seems to be a mistake... Please, I have a family that I’m feeding..." The old man said as he was begging and crying to the knights who just sighed at him.

"You should think about that first before disrespecting Lady Donaria," the knight who confronted them said as he glared at the five of them.

Acantha looked at the old man as she could feel his sadness.

"It’s okay," Acantha said as she was assuring him that everything’s going to be alright.

"No, you’re new here; that’s why you didn’t know what the duke’s family can do. if there’s a second to the emperor’s madness, it’s the duke’s family," The old man said as he was still crying in demise.

The knights dragged them like criminals; they even tied their hands using the rope while the knight who was riding on the horse was pulling them.

"Look at these people’s faces. I hope you will all learn your lesson about disrespecting the duke’s family," The knight said as they began walking.

Acantha looked at the people’s eyes as they looked at them with sympathy in their eyes, like they wanted to help them but they couldn’t do anything as they couldn’t go against the duke’s family.

She uses the jewelry the four of them are wearing to communicate with Jarnus and Ernie, who are behind the old man to help him.

She could feel Helion was just trying to control himself while Flamear was trying to keep quiet as he hid himself inside her coat.

It was a very long way to the duke’s family when they finally stopped.

The carriage opened there was a woman who looked beautiful and yet dangerous. her eyes were black and she was wearing a very revealing dress as the men who were surrounding her carriage again kneeled in front of her like they were literally kissing the road that she was walking on.

She looked at them and Acantha caught her glaring at her.

Meanwhile, the duke and his son just went out when they saw his daughter along wit her toys.

"Donaria, where have you been?" He asked his daughter as he glared to her toys.

"She probably bought a lot of things again, father." his son said as he smirked at his sister.

"Unlike you, brother, I needed to stay beautiful to enchant the emperor, and when I become the empress, you will also get some benefits from it," His daughter said as she smirked at his brother, who was just glaring at her.

Donaria really hated her brother; if he wasn’t the firstborn, she should be the heir to this duchy without marrying that man.

She really liked the emperor but his constant rejection of her made her mad at him. how can she be with the man who keeps on rejecting her?

And what’s worse, he even compared him to some daughter of their empire’s enemy.

If it weren’t just for her father constantly pushing her to him, she wouldn’t even dare to go back to the palace again like a dog to his master.

How can he reject someone as perfect as her?

He even made him see the woman’s face and she admitted that she was beautiful.

Too beautiful, which made her so insecure that she wanted to kill her.

She looked back again when she remembered that there were five people who did something to her today.

"And who are these people?" She got back when she heard her father’s voice ask, and that’s when she just realized that they were now near her while her knights were pulling them.

She looked at them again when her eyes seemed to see a familiar face.

Donaria shook her head.

No, it can’t be and besides, she didn’t have pink hair or a pair of golden eyes.

She shook her head again at what she thought, as it was really impossible as how can the duke’s daughter from their enemy’s empire be here?
