Chapter 150: The Dagger of Death and Justice....

"Flamear," Acantha said in the air as she summoned Flamear, who appeared after she called.

"What was it, My Lady?" Flamear asks her as he looks at her back, where Helion is now standing.

"Do you still remember the dagger you had back then that was owned by Firen?" Acantha asked as she looked at Flamear, who was now looking at her.

Flamear looks like he was trying to remember something as he was looking at the ceiling at the moment.

"Do you remember it?" Acantha asks as she looks at Flamear, who is still thinking about it.

"The last thing I remember... I was holding it when the war started but I lost it when someone bumped me that day," Flamear said as he also looked confused right now.

"Who did you bump? And where did it happen?" Acantha asked as she looked at Flamear.

She can read his visions but not Flamear’s memories, which makes it a little bit difficult and it was partly her fault, as she had sealed him back then.

The war took place in the land of Tenebrisaya. When they were there, she had seen the place; it wasn’t like that but the place really changed.

The Tenebrisaya empire was once a battlefield, whereas the North was once the place where the dragon empire lived, and the castle was there. That’s why she had chosen that place to be the fairies’ back then and where he sealed Flamear off.

"I remembered there was a man from the dragon race who bumped me, and I lost the dagger in that place." Acantha looked at Flamear, who was frowning at the moment.

"But where can we get this? If it happens during the battle, does it mean we won’t find it anymore?" Helion was the one who asked her this question as he looked confused at what she was saying.

Acantha shook her head as she was looking at the floor. Why didn’t she remember it when she was there at the Tenebrisaya?

That in order for the goddess to be killed and unable to reincarnate, and kill the soul with that dagger.

That was the reason why Firen’s soul was because she didn’t die with it; she was only stabbed by it and wasn’t killed using it.

Firen was killed by Abanoon’s power, and she became an ash.

"No, that place still exists from this very time, but I don’t know where exactly or which part exactly it is because that place that was once a battlefield became an empire," Acantha said as she looked at Helion, who looked at her when she said those words.

"Where?" Helion asked her as he was also frowning at her.

Acantha looked at him directly in his eyes.

"Tenebrisaya..." She said without blinking and she could feel his breath become heavy.

"Are you sure?" Helion asked her as he was still looking at her.

"Yes, I am very sure," Acantha said as she looked at him and then looked at Flamear.

"Flamear, tell Mildred to prepare some food; we will leave tomorrow," Acantha said as she looked at him, who just nodded and disappeared.

"You’re leaving?" Helion asked her as she was about to stand to go.

"Yes, I needed to get that dagger," Acantha said as she looked at her.

"Not only that, I forgot... the person who made a deal with Abanoon we need to find her soul, as she also became one with Abanoon the moment she agreed on it," Acantha said as she sighed.

Abanoon had once taken another one’s life, but she was sure that person also shared the same heart to her as the ritual won’t take place if that person has a pure heart and didn’t commit any crimes.

"I will come with you..." Helion said to her as he looked worried.

"No, you needed to stay here and guard the people at the empire," Acantha said as she shook her head at him.

"I wonder where you went, and here you are with my daughter." They both stiffened when they heard a familiar voice.

Acantha turned around and saw her father, who looked very mad right now.

"F-father..." Acantha said as she looked at him.

"What are you doing here?" the duke asked Helion, who didn’t answer but instead was matching the duke’s glare.

"And what did I hear about you going? Going to where?" Her father asked when she turned to her.

"There’s something you need to know, father," Acantha said as she looked at him, whose face changed softer.

Acantha had told her father her plan of going to the other empire, as she needed to find the things.

"Why do you need to find it by yourself, Aki?" her father asked as he looked at her worriedly.

"It’s because if a normal human were to take that dagger, it will curse her or him," Acantha said as she looked at her father.

"And what does it have to do with him?" her father asked as he looked at Helion, who was still standing inside the room while listening to them.

"He wants to come, and father what made you make them work at the field?" Acantha said when she remembered something.

"That wasn’t even enough for someone cowardly like him." Her father snorted as he said those words.

"The empress was the one who did us wrong, not him..." Acantha said as she looked at him, and speaking of the empress, the more she looked at her, the more she found something was odd.

But she must be mistaken...

"If you will go I will come with you..." The duke said as he looked at her worriedly as he changed the subject.

"Not you too? there are so many people who were also relaying at you," Acantha said as she looked at her father.

"And I can’t lose you twice, Father," Acantha said, which made the duke’s face soften more.

"I can’t lose you too, Aki..." Her father said as his voice cracked.

"If you won’t let me come with you, then let that coward and his friends come with you," He said as he glared at Helion, who was looking at them.

"He has an empire to protect..." Acantha rejected her father’s request, which she could feel made Helion about to protest when-

"I’ll protect the empire... the Solaris will protect it while you were absent; just make sure my daughter is safe," Her father said as he threatened Helion.

"You don’t have to worry, I will lay down my life for her..." Helion said as he looked at her while he said those words.

"You need to prepare then..." Acantha said, which made Helion nodded, after that she and her father disappeared and went back home.

They talked a little while she was preparing her things to travel.

-------------

Helion also went back after Acantha and the duke left, and that’s where he noticed that it was already afternoon. did they talk that much that he didn’t notice the time?

He knocked on the door and it opens there he saw Ernie, who was pouting like a kid.

"Where have you been , Your Highness?" Jarnus asked him when they let him enter the place.

"Yes, we have been looking for you anywhere in the field after you and Lady Acantha disappeared... Don’t tell me? How dare you, Your highness, I thought you were a gentleman, a man of virtue..." Ernie said dramatically, which got him a knock on the head from Jarnus.

Helion glared at him, and Ernie just pouted at him back.

"We need to pack to prepare," He said as he walked inside his room, while the two followed him there.

"Did something happen between you and Lady Acantha?" Jarnus asked him with concern on his eyes.

Helion shook his head as he sighed.

"Did the duke finally kick us out?" Ernie was the one who asked this time.

"No, we need to go to Tenebrisaya," He said which made the two drop their jaws.

"Are we getting ourselves killed there?" Ernie said as he looked shocked and couldn’t believe what he just said.

"No, Acantha needs to find something there," He said as he looked at the two.

"What does Lady Acantha want to find, and of all the places, why there?" Ernie said as he looked helpless.

"Stop whining and listen to His Highness," Jarnus said as he gave him a little jab on his stomach.

"We need to find a dagger that was owned by the goddess of justice," He said as he looked at the two who stiffened.

"Does it even exist? I mean, like, I know that things such as relics do exist, but something as sacred as that?" Jarnus asked as he was frowning.

"Yes, Flamear already confirmed that he once brought it here but lost it during the war that took place in that area," Helion said as he looked at the two, who just nodded and didn’t ask him anymore.

Helion looked at the wall after the two left his room and sighed.

He knew that he would face that crazy emperor again, but what he didn’t expect is to come to his empire on his own.
