Chapter 131: Treasons...

Helion walked towards the count, who took a step back and was shivering in fear.

"I asked you again, what are you doing here?" He asked him as he faced the count, who looked behind him.

"Father!" The man wails as if he were asking for his father to defend him from him.

Helion looked at the count, who flinched when he turned to him.

The count looked at his son, who was asking for help.

"Y-your highness, what did my son do to you?" The count asked him helplessly.

"Ask him..." Helion said as he turned to see the young master of Di Santris, who was now crawling to his bed.

"It seems like I had been lenient to every one of you," Helion said as he looked at the other noblemen who went with the count.

"I think you misunderstand something in here, Your Highness," the count said to him as he chuckled a little bit as he looked behind him as if he was asking the other noblemen to support what he said.

The other noblemen just looked at the count and were hesitant to agree with the count, as they were afraid of him.

Helion glared at them as he saw that they were about to agree with the stupid count, who didn’t know anything except using his title against the others who were lower than him.

"It seems like you raised your son always going around and bragging about his title," Helion said as he glared at the count again. He could feel his mana energy rising, and he was just trying to cool it, as he didn’t want the others who weren’t involved to get scared or get hurt.

The Count seemed like he was coward but he knew damned well why his son kept on bragging about his status and wealth.

The count was the one who was financing all the money to Baron Abellarde and was the reason why so many fake mana stones spread in their empire.

"I didn’t like what you were saying," the count said and it seems like he found his courage to talk back to him.

"And I didn’t like you..." Helion said as he walked to the count, who was clenching his fist, as it seemed like he was getting mad at what he said.

"You need to be careful with your words, Your Highness..." The count replied to him.

"Besides, we will be family someday," he continued as he was still looking at him, or he should say that the count said as he looked on his back looking for support from the others.

"Hold there, Count, I think you and your family are being delusional," Helion said as he replied to the count.

"There is no marriage that was going to happen between me and Lady Noraya, and besides, ask your son why he was here in the first place," Helion said as he looked at the count, who now was sitting in one of the beds in the infirmary.

"Now, tell your father what you did," Helion said as he walked to where the count’s son was sitting and listening.

"I-I didn’t do anything, Father," the coward said as he kept on denying what he did.

Helion loses his patience and grabs the man by his collar, which causes some uproar from the other noblemen who went with the count.

"Your Highness..." The count said as he was about to stop him when Helion turned to him and gave him his most dangerous glare, which made the count look around to ask for some help.

"You’ve been getting on my nerves, Count. It feels like you were threatening me awhile ago, and now your son won’t admit what he did to Lady Acantha?" Helion said as he went to where the count was while dragging his son.

Helion also grabbed the count by his collar using his one hand.

"Tell your father how you bragged and disrespected the lady who was helping the other knight who got injured," Helion said as he lifted the count’s son by his collar.

"Y-your highness..." the other nobles tried to stop him but step back when they saw his face.

Helion also noticed that the knight brought his own knights and was looking at him as they were hesitating whether to protect their lord or what.

"Lady Acantha?"

"She helped others?"

"But I thought she was a witch?"

Helion heard people’s whispers as he saw in the corner of his eyes Ernie had just entered the place.

"This is a disrespect to any noble families here," one of the count’s supporters said as he looked scared at him.

Helion could even hear him shaking while saying those words.

"And? The way you disrespect me and even brought your own knights here, isn’t it an act of treason against me?" Helion said as he glared at the knights, who bowed their heads down.

Ernie, who was also there, stood by his side while Hernand was also there already.

"You seem to keep calling me ’Your highness and yet you are trying to covet my position and my parents position..." Helion saw that they looked shocked at what he said.

"You’re accusing me? You know my family was one of the loyal to the empire," the count said dramatically as he looked around to gain some sympathy.

"You think I didn’t know about your plan with them?" Helion said as he gave him some death stare.

Helion threw the father and son on the floor as he walked to the other noblemen, who paled at what he said.

Jarnus, who entered the room with some knights with him.

"What is this?" The count seems to be confused at what was going on.

Jarnus threw one person on the floor who made the other men shivers in fear.

"Now, Lord Sarnish has already exposed all of your plan." Helion said as he looked at the count who paled at what he said and was looking to the man that Jarnus was holding in his arns while the man’s hands were tied.

The room fell silent; only their breath could be heard, but Helion could feel their fear in the wind.

They must think that he became weak as the monster keeps on coming back and forth.

These damned noblemen had planned to overthrow him and his family from the throne and Count Di Santris will be crowned as the new emperor, which is stupid.

They are really stupid that they even forgot that the imperial family didn’t rely in any mana stones to gain power while they still need to purchase some expensive mana stones just to wield some powers.

"No, no, Your Highness, I am not part of it..." one of the noblemen said as he fell down on his knees begging for his mercy.

Helion signaled Jarnus to get the crystal ball where they let everyone see what they get from Lord Sarnish who was now lying on the floor.

Everyone who was in that scene looks like they run out of blood as they looked really pale.

The count and his son didn’t utter any words and instead they just looked down on the floor.

The knights who were with Jarnus grabbed the nobles who were part of the treason and tied them using some magic from the mana stones.

The nobleman was begging while crying as the knights took him out of the room.

Ernie took the count, who was still not lifting his head from looking down at the floor.

Acantha went out to the capital with Flamear again. They were walking when she saw some knights holding some noblemen, based on their clothes.

What was happening in the capital?

She looked around when she saw Ernie and Jarnus, who were also holding someone, and Acantha saw the man who disrespected her awhile ago when she was just trying to help those people who needed some help.

Her eyes widened. Her eyes met Jarnus’s eyes, who looked surprised when he saw her.

Acantha uses her power to disappear with Flamear, as she didn’t want to see Jarnus, as she knew that Helion would also be there.

After she disappeared, she went back to the duchy again, and she saw Mildred, who was waiting for her.

"What was it, Mildred?" Acantha asked as she saw that Mildred looked like she had something to say to her.

"The duke was looking for you," Mildred said while they were walking together in the hallway of their house.

Acantha nodded at Mildred as she went inside her father’s study, and there she saw him doing some paperwork.

"Had you gone to meet your friend’s father?" Acantha asked as her father lifted his head and looked at her.

"No, I only went to the north just to see how the people there were and just looked around the duchy," her father answered as he looked at her.

"What about you? Where did you and Flamear go today?" he asked her as he studied her face to see her reaction.

"I went to find Abanoon," Acantha said as she looked at him. She saw his face change, and he looked worried at her.

Acantha knew that his father was dead and worried about her, as she is. That’s why she needed to end Abanoon’s revenge to everyone.
