Villainess Want's To Ignore Them! -
Chapter 122: Illusions and Aparition?
Chapter 122: Illusions and Aparition?
Acantha can see her soul move out from her body.
She saw that they were getting in position in case Abanoon decided to attack them, which she was sure she would.
Flamear looked at her as if he were the only one who could see her soul.
Acantha walked away from the place to find the way to where the land of the soul is.
She keeps on walking and walking when suddenly she sees a light. She walks faster to go to the light and she screams when she is sucked by it.
She looked around the place when she finally opened her eyes. The place looked like she was in some kind of tunnel.
Acantha roamed her eyes, as the place looked very dark.
She tried using her power, but it seems like it’s not working.
"What do you think you’re doing?" Acantha heard a voice say when she tried using her power again for the second time, as she couldn’t see the path that she was walking.
"Who are you?" Acantha asked as she looked around and couldn’t find a thing.
"Who am I!" the voice yelled and his voice echoed throughout the whole place.
"She was asking, ’Who am I?" The voice said and Acantha heard some laughter.
"She’s so funny for a dead -"
She heard the voice stop when it seemed to realize something.
"Wait—you’re not dead." The voice said, which made Acantha frown.
She was about to retaliate against him when she finally saw a light not so far away.
Acantha fasten her walk and when she finally reaches it, she saw the place looks like mythical
There are some people who were dancing while floating in the air.
It looks like a normal festival where there are people who were dancing, but these? Are they even people?
Acantha walked and when she walked the people who were dancing stopped.
They all looked at her like she did something bad.
"Who are you?" Asked by a familiar voice that she heard awhile ago.
The man was not facing her, as she was facing his back.
"I am Acantha." She said she saw that everyone seemed to notice how she looked.
"I know her!" She heard the voice say, and when she looked at who it was from, she saw a woman who was running to where they were.
"She looks familiar." The voices said and whispers from others started.
"Isn’t she?" The other voice said, and that’s when the man turned around and she swore she saw him startled when she saw her.
"S-Solaia..." She heard the man say as he was still looking at her.
"Solaia?" The voices said they sounded happy when they learned about who she was.
"You’re finally here." She looked at the woman who rushed to her awhile ago.
"Who are you?" Acantha asked as she looked at her.
"You don’t know me anymore? I am Saeries." The woman said as she was looking at her.
"Saeries?" Acantha frowned at her and she also frowned back at her.
"You don’t remember me anymore?" Acantha sees sadness in her eyes.
"No, I can’t remember my past life." She said as she shook her head cluelessly.
"How is that, Firen?" The woman named Saeries asked the man who was still looking at her.
"You said past life?" the man named Firen said as he looked at her.
"Yes, I am here as I don’t know anything about my past life." Acantha said as she nodded at them.
"You reincarnated?" Acantha nodded at their question, Why do they seem to be clueless?
"Shouldn’t you know about it?" Acantha asked as she looked at them.
"Isn’t this supposed to be the land of the soul?" Acantha said as she looked clueless at what is this place.
"Land of Soul?" The two asked in chorus as they also looked clueless.
"Is that what they said they called this place?" Firen asked her as he looked confused.
"Yes?" Acantha answered, unsure.
"That’s insolent! This place is only for immortals, the land where gods and goddesses were rested. This is also where our memories are stored after death. This is Solayaces." Saeries said as she was explaining to her the place name and what the place was.
"Where can I retain my memories?" Acantha asked, Firen and Saeries.
"You need to go to that lake there; that is the lake of truth and lies, but at the bottom of it there’s the mirror of truth that will give you your memory, while the water will wash all the lies and will weigh whether you were good enough for the memories to get back to you. If you’re not, the lake will drown you and you will die, as I can see you were still alive." Firen said as he looked worried for her.
Acantha just nodded at the two and went to the golden lake of truth and lies
She closed her eyes before she jumped into the lake.
She opens her eyes when she feels some energy.
She swims to where the mirror is.
There she saw the old Solaia face, who was looking at her.
"You’re finally here." Solaia said to her when she entered the mirror.
"I have been waiting for you to come here, my future self." Solaia continued as she smiled at her.
"You who came from another place, you who had been sleeping for so long." Solaia said, which made her frown at what she said.
"What do you mean?" she asked Solaia who just smiled at her.
"Looked." Solaia pointed out some memories to her.
Memories that she has from when she was still Lucille.
But something is wrong...
"These are some memories that you think are yours." Solaia said as she looked at her, which made her stop for a little bit.
"What do you mean by that?" Acantha asked as she was shaking; she couldn’t what Solaia was telling her.
"Lucille Kim didn’t exist in any world." Solaia said to her, which made her stiffen.
"Lucille’s life was just your illusions and my illusions." Solaia said to her as she smiled sadly.
"Those were some bitter memories, and a trial to bring you back here,"
"Does this world being a book also mean it was my illusions?" She asked as her voice was shaking, and Solaia shook her head.
"This place was created somehow, but this is our real world. The Acantha who was a villainess wasn’t the real Acantha; she was made to be that by someone Abanoon brought here, and I think you know her, as you thought of her as your cousin in your illusions." Solaia continued, which made her shiver at what she was saying.
"What?" She asked her unbelievably.
"Jessie Kim." Acantha looked at Solaia when she said that familiar name to her.
"So Jessi exists while Lucille didn’t?" Acantha asked in shock from the revelation she had learned from Solaia.
------
Abanoon gritted her teeth when she teleported herself to the Tenebrisaya and there she saw the reincarnation of Solaia lying unconscious.
"You!" She said as she launched an attack to where they were , but her power only bounced back to her, which made some explosion on her back.
"Master!" She heard Paul, who seems to have just gotten here.
The dumb emperor of this place looked shocked, as it seems like he has been outsmarted by these people inside the barrier.
It seems like Solaia was really smart to know that she would learn that she was here if she used that ritual.
And why did she even use that ritual? Abanoon only knew about it but never performed it.
Aridus, aridus, humus.
Est alius mundus sub terra.
Mundus qui per mortem videri potest;
Cum mors venerit, aperiet semitam.
Cum mortem obieris, noli timere;
mors formidolosa non est.
Morti mihi finis, aliis fuit exordia busis.
[Dry, dry ground.
There is another world under the earth.
A world that can be seen through death;
When death comes, it will open the path.
When you face death, do not fear;
Death is not fearsome.
As death may be an end, but for some it was a beginning, a way to another place.]
Sullaivan also looked at Paul cluelessly as he seemed to be in his own world while thinking the incantation that seemed like Solaia’s beast performed.
Abanoon uses her power to attack again, but just like before, it bounces back again.
Why did even Solaia uses this kind of ritual-
Wait, does that mean she lost her memories?
She even lost her memories for someone like her?
Abanoon couldn’t help but laugh, but she remembered that she was on her way to the Solayaces to get her memories back.
That must be the reason why she seems like she never knew her, even if she can see the soul of someone.
She saw Paul pale when he seemed to realize what she had on her mind too.
She will deal with him later, but first she needed to deal with these pests.
Abanoon will make sure that the barrier will break this time as she attacks them again.
"Now, now, let’s see if your master will still see you after she got her memory back." Abanoon said as she glared at Flamear, who growled at her.
She saw her people fighting the three knights who were protecting her. Now, the princess will wake up later to find that her people were already dead.
"I am not scared of you," the beast said and dared to look at her in her eyes.
Abanoon was getting pissed off at him and used her power to throw him on the other side.
She looked at the sleeping person in front of her and pulled the cursed knife that she had been hiding all this time for this moment.
Abanoon was about to stabbed her when-
