Helion tried to rethink what Solaia looked like again; all he could remember was how he was mesmerized by her beauty, but the moment he woke up, her face became blurry.

He looked at three men who were with him; they were still trying to help those who were still alive.

"This is bad; we should get Lady Noraya here with us to help us cleanse and purify the water." Hernand said as he looked at the emperor, and the duke also nodded at what he said.

"But, isn’t Lady Noraya just better now? And besides, I think she will be drained if we use her power." The emperor said as he looked at the two who frowned at what he said, It looks like they just realized the lady’s situation.

Helion couldn’t help but frown at them.

"It seems like you had forgotten someone who has better ability than Lady Noraya, Duke." Helion said as he looked at them, who turned to face him.

"What are you doing here?" Acantha said as she looked at Helion, who was now inside her room.

"I-I knocked on your door, but it seems like you didn’t notice. I thought something happened and I just barged in here." Helion said as he looked at her.

"What was it?" Acantha asked as she yawned, Helion won’t be here inside her room if it wasn’t urgent.

"You need to come with me in the palace." Helion said as he looked at her.

Acantha was grimacing inside her head. Him inviting her to go to the palace is insane knowing his mother hates her, and the last time they saw each other it caused the war between the three houses.

"Have you forgotten?" Acantha asked and she saw Helion frown at her like he was asking what he forgot.

"Your mother hates me! She will get mad if I ever step my feet there." Acantha said as she raised her brows at him.

"She won’t touch you there." Helion said as he sighed at her.

Acantha glared at Helion, as the last thing she wanted was to cross paths with the Empress, who by the looks she was giving her from the last time hated her or should she say she despised her.

"Alright then, but I warn you, if the Empress will be insulting me today, I won’t let it slide just like what I did from the last time." Acantha said as she looked at Helion. " Just wait for a moment." Acantha said as she went inside her bathroom to change her clothes,and fix herself to look more presentable.

"Are you done?" Helion asked her when she came out all dressed.

"Yes." Acantha said as she took Flamear, who was on the floor, in her hand, and then they disappeared.

They arrived not too long in the palace, and they arrived specifically at a room where Acantha saw her father with Hernand and the Emperor and the Emperor’s right hand and messenger, Gineo.

"What happened?" Acantha asked as soon as she greeted the three men and saw the dead bodies.

"They drink the water and then they were like this." Helion was the one who answered her.

"It was the curse of the dead, Lady Acantha." Hernand said as he pointed to one of the bodies, and Acantha couldn’t help, but look away when she saw that the skin of the body was decomposing.

"Is this the same thing the maids were talking about?" Acantha asked as she tried not to look at where the bodies were.

Acantha saw that the five men looked confused at what she said, "The maids from the Solaris were talking about how the water changes from black, and that many people have died." She said as she looks at them.

"Yes, the lake has turned black, and since then there are many reported cases now of people getting poisoned and died." Hernand said as he looked at the other one, when it made a sudden noise.

"W-wait this one looks like we can still save her." Acantha looked at where Hernand pointed, and she went to rush there to see the woman.

Acantha can see that the woman’s skin was already decomposing like she was already dead, but the good thing is that she has some pulses, and even though she was breathing, she could still help her.

Helion heard his father gasped as he saw the improvement of the woman’s skin.

The woman’s skin was getting better. So as her wounds were caused by the curse.

"She’s getting better," the emperor said as he looked at the others happily.

"Yes," Helion answered proudly as he was looking at Acantha, who was healing the woman effortlessly.

Hernand was looking at Acantha and he was amazed by her healing skill and the way her power was purifying the curse.

He had only heard about the curse from the elder people from the north.

And he was really amazed that he was seeing it in his life and what most? He was seeing it being cured by none other than his best friend’s daughter, who was also from the north like himself.

Arthur looked at his daughter; he was really amazed at what her abilities are.

He had seen her first healing people when they were on their way to the North when they were suddenly attacked, and his daughter’s power burst and it made a really big shake from the ground, which made a big crack.

Arthur had seen that even though she looked unconscious, her power healed everyone who there at that moment who was wounded.

"She’s okay." Acantha said as she looked at the woman who was now okay, but still unconscious as she looked tired.

"Is she really alright?" The emperor asked Acantha, who just nodded at him, and went to the table.

Acantha took one of the cups that the servants were drinking when they got cursed.

"Do you know who might cause the curse?" Acantha asked everyone, though, she already had an idea as she had seen this one before, or she should say she had read it before from Soalia’s book.

"None that I can think of," the emperor said as he shook his head.

"The curse of death was a curse that Abanoon was used to knowing for using it back then," Hernand said as he looked at everyone who seemed puzzled at what he said.

Acantha just nodded and that’s confirmed her hunch.

She should have known better that Abanoon might do everything to take it on to the people who Solaia protected against from her back then.

Abanoon was known as revengeful and she wouldn’t be at ease if she didn’t take revenge on those who she hated.

Acantha dipped her finger into the cup of water, and the water reacted to her power.

"There." Acantha said as she handed the cup of water, which she had just purified to remove all the dark magic and especially the curse from it.

"Will you take me to the lake?" Acantha said as she turned to Helion, who just nodded at her.

They both disappeared from the room and everyone who was there also followed them.

"It’s His Highness the Crown Prince!" Acantha heard people cheer when they arrived and saw Helion.

Not long after, the emperor, her father, and Hernand also arrived.

Her eyes, which were already golden, glowed more as her power was surrounding all over the area.

The people who were crying and begging to save their loved ones weren’t crying anymore as they could see that they were getting healed by lady’s power.
