Chapter 521: Chapter 521: If You’re Not Convinced, Come and Fight
Li Feng lifted his gaze toward the King Yan instructor, the guy radiated a deadly aura, especially with that face—so ferocious, a scar a foot long slashed across half of his cheek, clearly a man who’d fought his way out of a pile of corpses.
Yan Lie’s gaze swept over the line-up, "It seems someone finds my words contemptible."
"You are the best of the best from various units, elites, treasured by your superiors, every one of you full of a sense of superiority."
"But in my eyes, you’re not worth shit."
"You, you, and you, step forward."
Yan Lie singled out three men, "The looks in your eyes suggest you don’t quite agree with me. Good, if you disagree, don’t keep it bottled up, shout it out loud."
"Instructor, we do disagree, we’re not some treasures, but we do have dignity. Calling us trash, I just can’t agree with that."
"Hah, not bad, at least you dare to talk back, you’re a tiny bit better than trash."
Having said that, Yan Lie raised his hand towards the three, "Since you disagree, I’ll give you a chance. If you can knock me down, I’ll take back what I just said and leave immediately."
The three men looked at each other unsure.
"Don’t look, all three of you come at me together."
Yan Lie said.
"What, scared? If you are, then you can roll back to wherever you came from. Cowards who flinch in the face of battle don’t deserve my training."
With those words from Yan Lie, the three had no way out. They exchanged a glance, "No offense."
The three directly split into three directions, attacking from left, center, and right.
Li Feng watched them rush in and knew these three were done for; they were leagues behind in momentum, and Li Feng was aware of Yan Lie’s strength.
The man was Soldier King Level, ranked seventy-eighth in the world’s Soldier King rankings, nicknamed King Yan.
The guy had participated in many foreign missions, killing no less than a thousand, if not ten. Calling him King Yan was no exaggeration.
Three greenhorns who hadn’t seen blood, hoping to take down King Yan—if King Yan were wounded, he’d still be the only one to survive.
And just as expected, King Yan didn’t bother with any foolish "I’ll let you make three moves" routine; he struck like lightning, with Heavy Punch after Heavy Punch, bam bam bam, all three elites were laid out at his feet.
"Is this the extent of your strength?"
"If this is all you have, then I think it’s best you go back home. Calling you trash is elevating you too high."
"At least, trash can be recycled. You’re not even worth that."
Yan Lie looked across the lineup without a shred of mercy.
"None of you stand up to respond after I say this, truly disappointing. Captain Li, take me back. Training them my way, not one will graduate."
Li Yuncong was also a bit embarrassed by this King Yan who gave no quarter.
Many in the lineup were angry, wanting to stand up, but seeing Shen Ao and the other two taken down in one round, they hesitated subconsciously.
"Hey, don’t be so quick to leave."
Li Feng suddenly stood up, attracting the sideways glance of many; Liu Quan also looked towards Li Feng. Was this guy jumping out to court death?
This King Yan instructor lived up to his name, too damn ruthless. Three men, he thought he couldn’t beat one alone, yet all were promptly flattened by King Yan and left unconscious on the ground.
Was this even a human?
Li Yuncong looked up at Li Feng, what’s this paratrooper doing standing up?
Yan Lie turned to look at Li Feng, "Heh, out of dozens, no one stood up, and yet here stands a paratrooper."
"You want a one-on-one with me?"
"One-on-one, sure, but it’s going to be all of us against just you," declared Li Feng as he turned to look at the elite soldiers.
"What are you still standing there for? Don’t you want to become warriors? Are you really going to let someone call you trash and then just silently return to your original units?"
"If you go back like this, have you thought about how others will view you? Before long, the whole Jin City Guard District will be saying that the new recruits at Blue Sword’s training camp were so scared by a mere glare from an instructor that they pissed their pants."
"You’ll become a laughingstock, and the instructors will use you as a cautionary tale for generation after generation of new recruits."
The military men in the ranks were riled up by Li Feng’s words. They were all top performers—being called trash and then returning in disgrace was unthinkable for them.
"Instructor, I don’t accept this."
"Neither do I."
Yan Lie looked at the agitated soldiers, "Not convinced? Then fight. The same rule applies—beat me, and I’ll get lost."
"I don’t mind if you all come at me together."
A massive brawl of dozens against one broke out on the Guard Camp parade ground. Li Yuncong stood not far away, his face twitching.
"Dude, aren’t you joining in?"
Wen Le approached Li Feng, who had stepped back, and asked.
Li Feng turned to look at Wen Le, "Join in? Of course, but let’s wait for these guys to wear him down a bit, then we’ll jump in."
Wen Le looked at Li Feng and gave him a thumbs up, "Buddy, you’re badass. I’m impressed."
This guy was utterly shameless, inciting others to gang up on the instructor while he conveniently retreated to the sidelines to enjoy the spectacle.
"With all those people against one, even if the instructor is kick-ass, he probably won’t last, right?" Wen Le looked at Yan Lie, the King Yan instructor, surrounded by a crowd. It’s tough when all the fists come at you; even the mightiest tiger can’t stand against a pack of wolves.
Not to mention, these recruits weren’t just ordinary newbies—they were the cream of the crop from various units, with none too weak in strength.
"Still, these guys might not be enough for him."
Li Feng commented.
"Oh?"
"Just watch."
Li Feng squinted at the evolving battle. One minute, two minutes—as time passed, the outcome became increasingly clear. The recruits were being thoroughly defeated, while the King Yan instructor grew fiercer with every passing moment.
Wen Le gulped.
"Oh Mom and Dad, this time you’ve really screwed your son over. Is it that you want to end the Wen Family line?"
Li Yuncong’s eyelids twitched as he watched and then turned to the stunned soldiers beside him, "What are you waiting for? Hurry to the medical station, bring everyone here."
Veins bulged on Li Yuncong’s forehead. Yan Lie was in a frenzy, his strikes not holding back. Although life wasn’t at stake, there were more than a couple of broken arms and legs.
After this fight, the number of recruits at the training camp would be cut by more than half.
Looking up at Li Feng, the instigator behind it all, still hiding behind and watching the excitement, this kid was just too much.
"Yes, sir!"
In just a few moments, there wasn’t a single soldier left standing in front of Yan Lie. His battle spirit soaring, Yan Lie’s gaze fixed on Li Feng, who was not too far away.
Gulp.
Wen Le swallowed nervously, quickly distancing himself from Li Feng.
Yan Lie stepped towards Li Feng, "Kid, you stirred up these men to fight me, and you just hide and enjoy the show."
"You’re really calculating, but I’ve always despised those who are devious and think they’re smart."
"Now, it’s your turn."
