Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God
Chapter 508: Uniform

Chapter 508: Chapter 508: Uniform

The driver reached his hand behind his head and then touched something ice-cold and metallic. In an instant, his body stiffened.

"Lao Wang, is that you? Don’t scare me."

Gulp!

Lao Wang turned his head to look, and his body jolted: "Li, Li Feng...!"

"Li Feng."

The driver’s legs went weak; he almost wet himself in fear: "Big... Big brother, no, please sir, I have old folks above me, kids below me, spare my life. I’m just trying to make a living, running errands for people, I’ve never done anything terribly wrong!"

"Get in the car."

"Alright, alright." The two men standing at the car door quickly bent down and turned to get in, and Li Feng followed, pulling the car door shut.

Inside the vehicle, the atmosphere was heavy; three pairs of eyes looked at Li Feng, too afraid to even breathe loudly.

"Three people, that’s a bit too many. I only need one useful person."

As soon as Li Feng spoke, a nervous tension inexplicably seized the three men.

"Feng ge, Young Master Feng, no, Lord Feng, I am indeed useful."

"Young Master Feng, I am Zhou You’s chauffeur, I know many of his secrets."

The bespectacled man beside them was quick to display loyalty: "I’m very useful too, I’m a hacker, I can hack into lots of places."

Li Feng watched them squabble to be first, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth: "Whether or not you’re useful isn’t for you to say, but for me to judge whether you are or aren’t."

Li Feng toyed with a bloody dagger in his hand, and the three men swallowed hard, they had seen Li Feng kill three mercenaries; the three of them together were no match.

Life was precious.

"So what counts as being useful?"

The driver, Xiao Liu, asked.

Li Feng smiled faintly and glanced at the observant chauffeur: "Can you get in touch with Zhou You?"

"Yes."

"I have Zhou You’s number. He just called earlier, telling us to keep a close eye on you, Young Master Feng. If there’s any disturbance here, we’re to report immediately."

The driver interjected, not giving the others a chance to speak.

"Then do any of you know where Zhou You is right now?"

"He’s at a villa in the suburbs. I’m familiar with the place. If Young Master Feng wants to go, I can drive and show you the way." Driver Liu Jun had no bottom line — it wasn’t that he didn’t appreciate what Zhou You had done for him, but the man before him was a murderous devil, the blood from the dagger dripping to the floor.

Besides, driving required brains — not something just anyone could do.

Li Feng’s gaze swept to the other two: "It seems the two of you aren’t much use."

Lao Wang swallowed hard, cursing Liu Jun in his heart: "Lord Feng, Xiao Liu is just a chauffeur; he only knows a few bits and pieces. I’m Zhou You’s right-hand man, and I’m the one who contacts Zhou You."

Li Feng lifted his gaze to meet his, imitating his voice: "I’m Zhou You’s right-hand man; only I can contact Zhou You."

"Is that so?"

Lao Wang paled in shock as he saw Li Feng mimic his own speech so well that even he couldn’t tell the difference. The driver and bespectacled guy were equally flabbergasted.

That could work.

"Don’t, don’t kill me."

While Lao Wang was saying this, he stealthily pulled out a dagger and suddenly thrust it viciously towards Li Feng. Li Feng snorted coldly, disarming Lao Wang with his bare hands, seizing the dagger, and then twisting the man’s wrist with a snap.

Li Feng looked up, grabbed the man by the neck, and gave it a twist.

Lao Wang collapsed limply in the aisle of the car, while Xiao Liu and the bespectacled man froze, swallowing hard.

"You just said you’re a hacker. What’s your level?"

Li Feng looked at the bespectacled man, who swallowed: "Expert Level."

"Hm, barely passable." Li Feng turned to the driver: "As a driver, you must know a lot about Zhou You’s residences. Now, I want the two of you to mark all Zhou You’s addresses and monitor them."

"Can you do that?"

Li Feng’s question, however, was addressed to the bespectacled man. Hackers could be classified into seven universal levels: Beginner, Novice, Manager, Minor Expert, Expert, Hall Level, and King.

Hall Level hackers were as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns, and Kings were the pinnacle of hackers, with only those ranked in the top ten in the world bearing the title of King, while Hall Level was for the top hundred.

Experts were the top thousand in the global rankings, considered top-notch hackers. An Expert-Level hacker could easily hack into communication devices like Apple, and even some critical websites, including government departments.

The bespectacled man pushed up his glasses and nodded slightly: "For me, that’s a piece of cake."

Li Feng looked at him: "Give me your laptop."

Li Feng was also a hacker, a King-level hacker with the tools of the trade. The bespectacled man naturally didn’t dare say anything, though his eyes held a trace of disdain.

This wasn’t something that could be resolved with just muscle power.

Of course, he wouldn’t dare say it outright. Li Feng took the laptop, quickly tapping on the keyboard, connecting to the internet, downloading his King-level tools.

Then he directly hacked the bespectacled man’s firewall, implanted his own designed program — if this guy tried anything fishy, Li Feng would immediately know.

Hackers were all a bunch of clever folks; if they weren’t wholly convinced, they wouldn’t work for you wholeheartedly.

In less than a minute, Li Feng stopped typing and handed the laptop back to the bespectacled man.

"Red Heart King, ranked nine hundred and seventh in the world, I’ve memorized all your information. So behave, you know what happens to hackers whose identities are exposed."

Li Feng looked at him.

The bespectacled man took his laptop, quickly checked it, and incredulously looked at Li Feng: "You breached my firewall in less than a minute?"

Li Feng gave him a scornful look: "Your firewall was substandard. It wasn’t hard to crack. I just wanted to tell you to behave, and not give me a reason to kill you."

"I don’t really like killing people, you see."

The bespectacled man looked at Li Feng, incredibly shocked. He was, after all, in the top thousand hackers in the world, not someone to be dismissed lightly.

In Yan Country, he was a leading figure in the hacker community. If not universally revered, at least widely respected.

To break his firewall so easily, the adversary had to be at least a Hall Level hacker. Damn it, it was bad enough that he was a formidable fighter, but must his mind be so powerful too, leaving no room for others to survive?

"Start working now."

Li Feng addressed the two men, simultaneously finding Lao Wang’s phone from the collapsed body and unlocking it with a fingerprint.

Li Feng fiddled with the phone, while the driver and the bespectacled man didn’t dare to lag behind. Lao Wang was a lesson for them; if they didn’t want to die, they needed to obediently do the work. Right now, they were fish on the chopping board with no power to resist.

"Bro, you think Li Feng could be the King of Soldiers? Are you sure?"
